Glad to see you out biking again! I was worried your hand injury/surgery would hold you back (a little) but i should know better! You are amazing! Thanks for another fantastic vid!! 🙌🏼
All smiles over here on the East Coast! Loved this one. A lot of little different things from your bread and butter really kicked it up a notch. 11 herbs and spices FTW! 🌿 & 🫚
Dude NCS is no joke, nice work! Here’s a sleeper run that almost nobody ever hits - take the Homestake lift and start on Ripple - where Ripple and Regulator merge, there’s a trail called Devo off to the left. Take that - when you get to the fork on Devo and the signs says “hard” and “Harder,” go the harder way. There is another trail that splits off called Old School. It’s a super fun, loose rock trail that I’ve never seen anybody else ride. There’s a cool concrete platform drop, and rollercoaster style ups and downs on some hillsides, and some really steep, fun parts. It’s a really cool technical trail, if you like that stuff. Also, go ride Grand Targhee. They have a great little park. Hope to see you on the trails some day. Ride safe!
The most important things are proper PPE (helmet, gloves, shin guards, knee pads, elbow pads, & chest/back body armour. Lastly, pre-ride, pre-ride, & free-ride.
Nice I just rode NIS blind for the first time last week, Deer Park is my home bike park this year being half way between PC and Jackson. You should have hit Tsunami trail definitely bigger sends but I could do Tidal Wave all day. Definitely a lot of great trials in Deer Valley.
Another great video. On a side note, they ran a trailer for Gladiator 2 during your video. No idea how this works but that was kinda cool. It's a Denzel Movie😗
It is Tuesday.. So I take it this video is from a week ago? It is also possible that people had the 4th of July week off of work.. Soren is a Rock Star..
@@denigma68rltw yeah for sure. I was there last night. The trails are absolute garbage. Im a pretty good rider and can shred down pretty dang fast and my GoPro footage doesn’t look anything like his. It’s either his camera settings or the way he edits but he’s not going as fast as he appears to be. Not taking anything away from his riding because he rides well, but it’s almost as if the footage is being sucked from the top of the screen to the bottom quickly. I’m not a fan of manipulating footage to be something it’s not. That’s just me though.
gopro 12, max lens mod 2.0, max hyperview, iso min/max 100. those are my settings and have been the ones ive been using for all bike videos this year. also, because there is lower ambient light available due to the evening setting and especially in the woods, the gopro is shooting at a slower shutter speed with the iso max locked at 100, which will produce more realistic motion blur and provide a greater sense of speed. a wider FOV will always result in a more immersive POV video. i know i suck at riding and im sure you both are 100x better than i am, but i am not "manipulating" the footage to be anything its not. i'd recommend looking into gopro settings if you are unhappy with your results.
@@LucasCatania17First of all, you don't suck nor am I implying such. You are doing very well for the amount of time you have been down hill mountain biking. I know you do amazing videos and know you put time and effort in them especially the ski ones. I do not own the Go Pro that you have but I have the Insta360X3. I will take it at face value that is the setting you have on your camera is what it is. In my friendly humble opinion, try and be as close as possible to 1.0 speed as possible. The first part of your video riding has an unnatural speed to it and you talking while riding didn't match the flow of the video because of the speed settings of your camera. In conclusion, letting you know as a local you are doing a great job🫒.
I think this was one of the sickest bike videos yet. Awesome filming, impromptu meetup/ride and some gnarly terrain!
Aye thanks drew! Stoked with how it came out!
100%!!!

Nice chatting with you. I was the "gentleman" that came up in the parking lot.
NCS is gnarley man. Beautiful light, beautiful scenery, great skills on display. Thanks 🙏 👍

Fantastic Lucas! Look forward to your Enduro!!!
Best riding yet! Much love!
thanks rylan!
Soren was soarin 😉
indeed!
Jumps are easier if you have the right speed , if you go too slow they are much more awkward. Awesome video !
Awesome video Lucas! You gotta make it out to the PNW at some point and ride all the trails we have in WA and BC!
tentative plan is a whistler trip in august!
Love the chill love the music..... But yet the biggest thrill is on the hill.....❤❤ Keep crushing it bro
Thanks jack!

I wish silver lake stopped at the top of homestake. Having to ride two lifts to access the frontside of DV is such a drag
Your channel pushed my skiing 100%. the MTB content is also making me super curious, but MTB scares me still haha
Haha it scares me too!

You definitely inspired us to do a trip out to Utah and bike at DV!
Stoke at people love your Chanel glad I found your Chanel three or four years ago love the vids hope soon to be back out there.
thanks bon. the squad loves you

Mountain biking is truly man vs tree or man vs rock…and well we know how that goes
Hey Lucas, love the vids, did you happen to have a right hand injury recently?
i jusst broke my right hand here in aspen, but at the time of this video, no. i didnt really understand your previous comment about my hand position
papa joe ever get on the bike? great video!
thanks man! hes an avid road cyclist!
@@LucasCatania17 that would be a great video - something like yall going up or down one of the SLC canyons
I have the same bike and color. Does yours scratch pretty easily?

Soren is a Rock Star..
this was from last tuesday!
You definitely definitely definitely are using that GoPro trickery/settings to make it look like you are traveling faster than you are.
I agree with that and I bike there during the bike season often.
