Utah's LATEST AND GREATEST trails are homegrown in Richfield

It is the JOY of my life to head off to some random town based on a couple comments from you folks and then get blown away by amazing trails. Richfield’s Pahvant trail system has been built recently and built PROPERLY. According to the locals, there’s a full-time local trail crew building and maintaining these amazing trails. They have also brought in Singletrack Trails for some professional help on 9+ new miles of trail. There’s a lot of trail I missed this first time around, I will be back!

Those trails are a blast! You'll have to come back and hit Spinal tap, I've ridden the lower end of that and it is way more exciting to me than anything Moab has to offer. I hear they are finishing the upper end of Spinal tap this year. Tons of great stuff over there!
"I'm pretty sure these were built by professionals". Best compliment ever! All the trails are locally designed and built. As you mentioned we did hire help for the latest extension of the Spinal Tap trail that is nearing completion.
Pretty amazing what you guys were able to do! No weird, awkward turns or any other little goofy things that are typical of unprofessional builds. So good!!
I’ve been to Richfield probably a 100 times and didn’t know these trails were so well done. I’ll have to hit them up next time I’m there.

It's been nice seeing Sarah in your videos lately. She's a sweetie and a bit of a rebel all wrapped into one. This is coming from a forty -nine year old gal who used to ride a lot in my younger days. 2022 seems to be a National Flat Tire Year. I ran 5 Flat Tires this Year only in just 3 Weeks following. Didn't had just one for the last 7 Years. PLUS I use extra safety K-Guard Tires with additional Z-Liner Anti Puncture Inlayers on one bike. And on my other Bike I use a Set of Schwalbe Pro Core. Every Season is a New Season, the Dices got rolled again and anything can happen to become good or bad. Hey Sarah is a great Rider she doesn't go on full risk and maxing out pushing everything to the limits. Safety always comes first. You Guy are a great Couple enjoying Life to the Fullest. You need to ride some of the trails in Cedar City as well! It seems like every smaller city and county in Utah is building trails these days! Those Richfield trails are a lot of fun!

Would this be a good choice for a late December road trip? Based in LA, trying to venture out to Southern Utah/Northern Arizona/Nevada around Christmas-time to do a mini road trip and looking for spots that have some good elevation gain/loss but won't be covered in snow
Weather in the area is perfect for mtn biking. Summers are beautiful and when it’s cold in the winter you can just drive down to St. George.

I did 4,000 miles recently. Home in San Diego to Austin Texas to Bentonville to mtn bike to Kansas City to visit with sister to Omaha to Sedona to mtn bike and back San Diego...in my Chevy Bolt electric car. Cost was $280...about $7 per 100 miles.
I'm liking this despite the mischaracterization of Midwestern accents.

Sorry for this ad, but I'm a believer!! *** SLEEP NUMBER BED *** King Size. It could one day save your marriage!! LOL Just get one now, because eventually you'll get one, and be like me, "Why didn't I break down and spend this years ago!!?? If I had known it was actually worth it, I could have been sleeping better all this time!" It's a BEAUTIFUL thing to be able to adjust the mattress firmness for each person, and have it adjust at night WHILE you're sleeping, based on if you're on your bike, side, or stomach, to adjust for pressure points. Not sure about that adjustable base....didn't get that, but just the mattress itself is heavenly in its own right. Before it, I couldn't even remember the last time I slept all night, and I do it all the time now!
Great video as always, and it really helps to show the trail by having Sarah up front for parts of the ride to capture the trails. REALLY digging the direction of the channel!

Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and I went to the Sleep Number store on my own, and wished I would have just started there and saved myself from the trauma of the weekend shopping! We went back together, and the whole time I was thinking..."Please, please, let this work! I want to be riding my MTB instead of this crap!" LOL

8:17 - this is how it works in Europe, basically 'spot-on'. There's no debate about it, it just become 'new reality'. Pros are also happy. They do x4 more laps than previously per day, most ppl that tried know what I am referring to. And there is Spec Kanevo-SL 18,5kg e-bike, so.... yes you can .
