I had Sport Tracker app open on my phone which was recording an exercise. I then later on exported the exercise on Sport Trackers web site to get a .gpx file. Then I edited an exported the video and loaded both the video and the gpx file in to a software called DashWare. The final video with the overlay was then synced and exported from DashWare.
