Received the Galileo set a couple of days ago and I am very impressed so far. A very smooth, and natural iem set which is exactly what I signed up for. The biggest fault I have with the set are the ear hooks. Nothing a heat gun or a hair dryer can’t easily fix. Another great review Tony.
@@momayCA I don’t have the he10, but I do have the VE SIE and the Galileo sets. The VE SIE would be my pick hands down. It trades blows with sets three times it’s price imho.
Given your comparison/feedback between Galileo and the Mele, I would've liked to see how it compares with the JadeAudio JD7, which you mentioned was like a Mele + extra treble energy. It seems like the JD7 may, as you say, go to blows with Galileo while priced at $79. And then, of course, there's the Olina SE, Hexa, PR1 Pro, and others in the very-competitive $80-$120 range. The consumer is winning here, except for the head-spinning amount of high-quality budget gear available now. Maybe the focus should shift more toward content creators & producers stepping up and making high-rez content more affordable to access, since there's enough quality in the budget gear (e.g., headphones, IEMs, DACs, Amps, DAPs) to make spending more an exercise in ever-diminishing returns.
With so many safe IEMs out there, what’s your absolute favorite up to $500? Curious whether it would be an amazing execution of “safe”, or something unique
An absolute favourite is difficult but there are some that stand out. Penon Serial - love its old school tonality and bass ISN EST50 - crazy good subbass complemented with well mannered mids and highs AUR Audio Aure - Insanely good hybrid Aful Performer 5 - how where they able to do this at this price These 4 I use regularly.... probably Performer 5 a smidge more ....but all 4 make me 😁
Too different to make a fair comparison. I would say they complement each other. Galileo bass....EA500 mid and highs! Maybe if they had a baby we would have something truly special 😉😉

Yes definitely.....it's a well tuned 1+1 and price is down from when it was launched.....I've seen it as low as 70usd
