I remembering doing this in school we had Mozzarella and mashed potatoes and mixed it
Aligot is only made with Tomme fraîche or a young Cantal cheese from the Auvergne region of France. Otherwise it wouldn't have the same chewy, creamy consistency. Mash with stringy Mozzarella is NOT Aligot.
Now that's what you call a cheese pull. This is something I could just eat and eat and eat.

Aligot is made with a specific cheese so the taste would not be the same with anything other than that

@@misscoolgrisou then maybe it's something else, no, maybe it's not as bad as it, but instead of mashing potatoes, she used milk or cream and put it all together in a blender. It was gross, but I hope, that aligot isn't anything like my childhood culinary nightmares and I guess, it's got a more cheesy and creamy texture.
