      Ganesh Wadhwa Really?? street 220 is a decent cruiser bike for those on a budget and definitely a looker. But this crap from from Hero doesn't really compete even in it's price category. At 90k price bracket you get NS160, RTR 160, Gixxer, Hornet, Fzs, even the old RTR 180 is better.

    Damn.. Hero always keeps focusing on economical performance.. Nature friendly bikes with low speed/power hero makes sure their *riders lives long* but on the other hand it kills all the Fun we expect to get from our bike on highway. Xtreme 200R (Good City Performance Bike)

    It seems like the karizma was the lakshman rekha for the hero group. They just don not wish to cross that barrier and stick to commuters segment.

    If this bike was launched in 2010 then it may had a chance.Even if this machine could offer good fuel efficiency, I don't think a person buying a 200cc bike will give more importance to that.

    it hurts me to see that an infrastructure worth several crores of public money is now being used for this. If there is no plan to bring motogp and F1 to india then we should use this international standard race track to develop our own new generation of racers. :(

    what is surprising about this bike , the video title is very misleading . This seems to be a 200cc bike which cannot compete with any existing 200cc bike and needs to be competing with 160 cc segment but cannot hold 3 digit speed which the 160 and 150 cc bikes can easily manage today.

    Varun, You made the review interesting! I wish I could say the same for the motorcycle but Hero in this segment was always about comfort, reliability & efficiency. I hope the Xtreme 200 proves it's mettle 👍

    Another disappointment from hero..... they r good with 125cc y do they even try 150 plus.... apart from the old karizma every single 150cc or above bikes hv been a thorough disappointment.... 😐

    Meh. Looks like splendor . The looks is more important than just performance/specs. Ktm knows that. Seems like it shares parts with
    " every other hero bike". I have to admit the old Karizma looked way better.

    Everyone is making jokea on this bike and hating it. But it can be very good bike because it is the same what dominor is to 300 cc bikes. It is dominor of 150 cc 'practical bike. Everyone will buy it if it came price effective.

    Hey PD! No offense but this bike should've been tested on streets and in urban areas instead of a race track. No one would buy a 200cc uncool looking Honda to ride it on a race track. This bike is a commuter just like Passion and all so this is not at all ideal to be taken around a race track.

    Good commuter bike. Unicorn 150 ruled the segment almost 10 years . Now xtreme comes with more power 200cc.

    pricing is important.. anything above 90k for this, is disaster..
    oh wait, Honda Hornet sells for 90k, APACHE RTR 160 4V EFI for 90k and FZS 160 dual disk is at 86k.. hummmmm.
    ok. lets say, anything above 80k is a disaster..
    but, Honda xBlade is at 80k and good old unicorn 160 at 75k and fun little machine Bajaj NS160 at 81k..
    so, this Hero bike will be priced above 90k, just because it got 200cc engine..
    in short, this is actually a disaster.. 😁

    In my opinion the bike is not worth it with 200 cc it looks like 150cc achiver engine has been tunedup little bit and in terms of design it carrys from the old versions and rupess 90k is too much for this specification and 12.5 litre petrol tank 😆😆😆

    First one to hit like n comment❤️❤️ this bike looks so good.. but if it fails to maintain the three digit speed.. then it'll e a little tough to highway cruising.. but as it is Hero it will be good on milage for sure. N don't know how the lights are gonna perform :-P

    Hero makes bikes for practical common men , with millage and maintainance in mind . A 200 cc bike with maintenance less than other brands 150 cc bike and easy in pockets . That’s hero motor Corp for you.

    As per looks it it superb.. but if it fails to maintain three digit speed then it'll be a little bit tough for highway cruising n touring.. but as it is HERO❤️ it it'll be good on milage for sure.. but don't know about the lights.. hero needs to work on the power of their lights 😑

      In this regard,in my opinion,Yamaha, KTM and TVS have the best looking bikes right now., suzuki and bajaj have bits of overstyling and many room for improvement. Hero is just splendor styling. This one is splendor 200. On another note,Indian manufacturers should hire Europeans for designing vehicles especially the Italians. They know how to make attractive vehicles.

    Wht happened to hero after the first Gen cbz I wonder🙄🙄🤔🤔. This bike ain't no match for the styling of the original cbz, just looks like a grown up passion pro. Very disappointing. Easy fix would have been this engine in the first Gen cbz along with alloy wheels. Seen quite a few karizma engines on older cbzs. So just a cut and paste job.

    Hero motocop being there from so many years now it is expected to do much more than just deliver a mid average products. Externally its looks disfigured plus being a 200cc and lacking in power in top end does raise concern when u compare it with ns200 hornet and others who are equipped with high torque, fat chuncky tyres, outstanding looks and many other things in market which does attract youngsters in todays generation. Disappointed from hero continues, hope they launch some really aggressive and high milage products in higher segments soon.

    I'm really impressed with Hero, coz they are very clear in what they deliver.. Churn out the volumes catering to the masses! Phew they just are a Baniya company.. but hey no complaints. Coz someone have to cater to them, isn't it!!!

    This bike should have been launched 10 years back so that people would have bought it. Presently the competition has grown and this bike doesn't stand a chance in front of them.

    Not of good quality ! As usual hero bikes ! They have lost the edge in manufacturing good bike ! I think the last was the Karizma rally sports ! Around the 2011 years ! After that no honda engines and down goes the hero motor corp !and Mr Varun is struggling to get some good points!!

    This is actually a good bike. Not everyone buys a bike for power. I bought a FZ25 for the refinement and the non-vibey feel that many bikes have. This bike, as PD says doesn't vibrate that much even at 6-7k rpm is a good thing and this can turn out to be a good city commuter. Great stuff Hero! Looking forward to a proper review on this one.

      It would better suit someone who is looking for an everyday bike with a little more oomph. The review shall be here once we get the bike from Hero!

    hero is still hiring engineers who have worked for hero bicycles, Bajaj and TVS are much much better in designing bikes.

    No one will buy this bike which is 200cc but looks like hero achiever from 2010 hero need to hire new designers
