I really enjoyed watching this video about fitting the T6 floor system! It brings back memories of my own van conversion project. I used a similar 9mm ply oak veneer floor in my VW Transporter, and it truly transformed the interior. One thing I learned was the importance of prepping the floor before installation. I spent a whole day cleaning and removing old fasteners, and it made a huge difference in the final result. The bond you mentioned with polyurethane sealant is crucial; I used a different brand, but I had great success with it holding everything down without any lifting. I also faced some challenges with leveling when I first installed my floor. It’s essential to make sure all inlays sit flush to avoid any movement, especially since I often travel with my dog and kids.
