THE Best Group ever, my friend!!! ABBA is a phenomenon! So now you understand why they have so many dedicated fans that love them! Not only are they a rare talent, they are also humble, down to earth and pristine. Very good, genuinely nice and caring people.
Btw, they had to pay insane taxes to Sweden, 88% !!! So majority of money money money went to the government and Abba was the biggest "company" in Sweden, bigger than Volvo (Ikea came after their glory).
No one can blame you for falling in love with Frida (brunette/redhead woman). She is one of the most beautiful women in the world with a stage presence, energy, charisma, and a voice to match. I would HIGHLY recommend the song, So Long and The Visitors. These songs are so much fun to listen to.

Shamefully, it appears ABBA got snubbed in the Grammys, not winning in any nominated category. And they wonder why ratings keep tanking year after year.
ABBA wrote their own music. They were two couples. Benny on the piano, Björn on the guitar, Agneta the blonde, Anni-Frid the brunette. These were my favorites!!!
This video has made my whole Christmas period, thanks! Thrilled you're appreciating the original ABBA sound and giving credit to our gorgeous Frida. If you want to hear her serious singing chops, check out "I Wonder (Departure)", especially the live version 🤩
When they made this video they filmed another one in the same car for the song Tiger with Agnetha driving and Frida in the passenger seat looking a bit Thelma and Louise-ish
That shows you have very good taste! The beautiful dark haired singer who is singing lead on this song, is Anni-Frid (Frida) Lyngstad, who has been turning me on with both her looks and her talent for 45 years. Beautiful Frida!!!

Hello , so nice to see you for first time and I think is your first reaction to ABBA songs "Money money money" (1976) it is a very good song in a different musical style, cabaret type, set in another era "Money money money" is the single that followed "Dancing Queen" and reached # 3 in the UK, #1 in Australia and several European countries. It is a totally different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen" and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you" This is the versatility of ABBA, they go from genre to genre, as well as from success to success The song lends itself very well to the brunette Frida's lower voice, the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy) The instrumentation is excellent The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative, it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos But a few months before ABBA premieres the new official lyric video of "Money money money " I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs My best regards to You from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America
That's a great reaction, thanks. You're in for a treat if you're gonna work through ABBA's catalogue of hits, they're unsurpassed in the world of pop music - the rest are amateurs. Looking forward to your journey.
Damn son, I was laughing my ass off watching this. So real. And yeah ... used to drool over the album covers as a youngster back in the 70s. Probably 6 feet tall ... Swedish women, like a whole different species.
Just amazing how this quartets accomplished so much during such short period of time…Talent and perseverance..plus first class personalities? A phenomenon from the Scandinavian countries!!
You might like to see ANNI-FRID LYNGSTAD (opera) I think she is singing a little piece from Rossini - That's the style anyway. She hams it up a bit at the end, messing around and it's delightfully silly. Also, included in this clip with Frida, amongst the little group's jam session, are the sadly missed Andy Gibb and Olivia Newton-John.
Frida is gorgeous, adorable, sweet, cool, sunny, humorous, kind and strong all the time. She's a beauty with beautiful inside and outside.I'm a fan of her.I like ABBA's music.Thank you for the music ABBA!Thank you very much for watching and listening to their videos and music!I'm grateful to you for liking and appreciating Frida.Move on! I wish you see more Frida,Frida Pre ABBA and Frida After ABBA.Thank you!
ABBA??? Well, now you went and done it. There’s no going back. Since you took a chance on them, you should do Take A Chance On Me as your next song, followed by a ton of others.
Cool you like a 40 years old song from a Swedish band. Just have to inform you that this is ranked # 16 in numbers of listening on Spotify You' ll find ABBA hits to make an 2 hour long playlist, 22 no 1 hits to start with Nice reaction
I've never heard that sample before. ABBA are extremely protective of their music and I can only think of two major times that they have allowed their songs to be sampled. Madonna with 'Hung Up' is well known but the hip-hop group, Fugees sampled ABBA's 'The Name Of The Game' to great effect for their tribute to Muhammad Ali in 'Rumble In The Jungle'. Some hip-hop legends here..... th-cam.com/video/Ok6fmRt6MvU/w-d-xo.html
ABBA - you pronounced it perfectly. Try 'Knowing Me Knowing You', 'The Name of the Game', 'Gimme Gimme Gimme (A Man After Midnight)', 'Fernando', 'SOS', 'Dancing Queen' (which I'm sure you know), and of course the amazing and groundbraking 'The Visitors', the title track from their last album, not typical ABBA, made after the two couples' divorces and not long before they broke up, wherefore it's gloomy and different and experimental, however in a fabulous way, of course (doesn't have any video though).
Hello Bklyn! I just came across your reaction video to this and loved the genuinity of it! The redhead is Frida, baby! Yes, she is spellbinding, as is her partner in crime, Agnetha. Keyboards done by member Benny. Bjorn is the orher guy. I loved your comments on his key playing! Sharp eye! Keep going through their catalog! You'll draw in more viewers!
Interesting story about Frida ( the redhead). She's the only one of the four who's not native-born Swedish. She was born next door in Norway. Her father was a Third Reich soldier, & due to the shame her mother felt from having a child fathered by a Nazi, they moved to Sweden (which the Germans didn't occupy) to avoid, or at minimize any discrimination they might face remaining in Norway. People perceived to have been collaborators were shunned (at best). Anyway, it seems it all turned out pretty well for her.. She?'s been living in Switzerland for a few decades now, & of course, is quite "well-to-do".
@@Bklynreau But it's only half true. Frida's father wasn't a nazi so her mother couldn't feel shame that her child had a nazi father. But the Norwegian women who had an affair with a German soldier were hated and abused and therefore also their children, though these children had no fault of anything. So Frida and her grandmother fled to Sweden and Frida's mother did that too a few months later when she couldn't stand the hate anymore and wanted to be together with her daughter again. But a few weeks later she died with kidney failure before Frida was two years old. Her father was back in Germany and she thought he was dead, so she was an orphan until 1978 where she found out that he is still alive. If you are interested in the stories of all four ABBA members I recommend you the book "Bright Lights, Dark Shadows - The Real Story Of ABBA" from Carl Magnus Palm. It has 600 pages but it's worth reading.
'the original is way better than that BS remake' - amen! Frida is gorgeous in this video! ♥ BTW - most their videos were directed by future oscar nominee Lasse Hallström
Loving your reactions to ABBA! I'm a gay guy so i don't have quite the same reaction as you to the ladies, but I think you might like Take a Chance on Me and Gimme Gimme Gimme! Yeah you know what i mean! (great songs, too! Lol)
Not personally one of my favourite groups, but extremely memorable. I can recall at least 10 of there songs off by heart, and while many people can name either Mama Mia, Waterloo, and Dancing Queen, for me its; Money Money Money, Thank You For The Music, and The Winner Takes It All, which incidentally was written and preformed during their respected divorces, giving the song more emotional weight! They get my full respect.
Another great reaction my friend! I am so happy when they let Frida lead. Agnetha has the stronger voice but Frida brings the texture and interesting elements! They are nominated for 4 Grammy's for the album they released last year. Check out Frida on the track "I Still Have Faith in You" She is 77 but still sounds so good and ABBA's sound is still around!
Nothing is original? Not true. Today's music is not original but the artists who created this song the first time years ago, ALL those songs were original.
One of the best groups ever with over 400 million albums sold nd 4 billion dollar musical.

Realising the brunette in ABBA is the hot one is a sign of wisdom

Its extra awesome that she became an actual princess, because she got herself that kind of man! (RIP Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss)

Great song, great video and beautiful Frida.
ABBA wrote their own music. They were two couples. Benny on the piano, Björn on the guitar, Agneta the blonde, Anni-Frid the brunette. These were my favorites!!!
FYI: Whoever was “sampling” Money Money Money, they were unauthorised to do so. But he’ll, you now know that the root to all good music is ABBA.
Frida has the best voice in recorded music history
