Dude I literally gonna comment the same!!!😭(Tears of JOY!) I was despairing bc i reflected over my recent over spending and resultant need to cut on spending. I was shocked to see on the website that the book is not only available for sale (which I was willing to buy) buuut also for download of the WHOLE book. I had to cup my hands over my mouth in disbelief that something this good could happen so fast. Before I came across this video, I was in a bit of a worried albeit frantic state worrying over how I can't wait that long (a few months) to know all the commandments of Jesus Christ (through reading the bible, reading online, and going to church) as I live a Christ centered life and really establish that lifestyle over this summer. (I'm a recent convert so I'm in the hub of just changing things up as lay down more of my life in obedience of him. As I worriedly pondered over these things, I soon noticed this video on my suggestions. Glory to God man! GLORY GOD! He is good and knows all your needs and loves you unconditionally. Matthew 10: 26-33 So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known. What I say to you in the dark, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered, proclaim from the housetops. Evangelism is NOT about making converts who merely profess faith; it's about making disciples. TEACHING them to OBEY all that Jesus commanded. Don't just tell people to have faith, don't just tell people to obey. TEACH!
This is why I love to sit under pastor Piper's teaching on this channel. His insight into the truth, including discipleship, is so far beyond the American way in the American gospel that is taught in most churches. He brings the meat and spirit and the truth of the full counsel of God in what is considered radical and works-based Christianity by most pulpit and pew warmers. How far from the truth we have strayed. We have taken theology and theologized our way right out of obedience. God have mercy on your Church in America. We are drowning, and we are drunk and asleep so much so we don't even know that we are drowning.
I’ve been waiting for this!!!! I have been asking around for quite sometime on Christian internet sites if anyone knew of a book that contained all of the imperatives and commands of the New Testament - to which there had yielded none. But then I heard JP say that he was doing this book from his other “What Jesus demands of the world” and have been waiting with baited breath for this. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Pastor Piper!!! @@lukewerth2729 Thanks for the book suggestion - as it turns out, JP’s new book isn’t what I was thinking it was going to be. BUT, since this post the Lord has provided the greatest revelation, in that ALL Jesus’s Commands are the moral law from the Old Testament. ie. Matt 5:39 has its direct parallel to Lamentations 3:30, with other aspects explained throughout the Pentateuch on letting God Sovereignly allow you to be “smite”. So, in the end I did find a book that contains all the New Testament Commands of Jesus; the Old Testament! : ) I just wish Pastors either knew this or preached it more. All the best to you “brother”!

I NEED this video because I don’t know God’s Commands. Whether the two greatest commands or the 10 commandments or the 613 in the Bible. I really need JESUS ❤
Exo. 20 and Deut. 5 has God's commands, so there is really no reason why anybody can't know what they are. The Big 10 sums up how a person is supposed to love God and other ppl. They're not different commands. True love is keeping God's commandments(1 Jhn 5:3), and not a vague emotion traditional Christianity think it is.
What’s amazing is that this kind of book doesn’t really exist already. I have thought that this kind of work needed to be done because if the great commission is teach the disciples you’ve made and baptized to do all that Jesus commanded, then we need to have some kind of organized collection of what Jesus commanded and then help people to learn how to become the kind of people who do that. The creation story. Genesis 1. Why exactly was light created twice? On day one light was created and also on day four light was created. Also please take note of the light created on day one.. as it divided the "Day" (proper noun) from the "Night" (proper noun). However on day four when light was created, day and night are not proper nouns. Explanations?

Doesn’t all that God has commanded in the scripture come from the mouth of God? Did Jesus refer to only his words when he said: “he who hears these words of mine and does what I say is like the man who built his house on the rock …”.
Jesus gathered all His commands for us in One only: "Love one another! As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34-35 And to be sure that everyone gets it, He repeated it twice: John 15:12 and John 15:17. Paul knew it, also: Galatians 5:14. So, no longer there are two commandments, but one: Love one another! So few people get it. Somehow people prefer to love God, not their fellow man. And they fall into pharisees dilemma: And who is my neighbor? Luke 10:29. For those who need two commandments, take these: 1) Love one another as Jesus loved you! 2) Go into all the world and teach everyone to do the same!

A “light” burden.. means youre carrying light’ and rose/rise like Jesus.. standing up for what is right .. thats not a small fete/feet thats the walk of a RULER . Fete’. You act and judge as he does’ and you will see how others Hate you for being the barrer of bad news to their lyin mouths. Paul’s thorn. Was the Christians and how they care more about name calling the Gods laws and commands. The darkness hates the light. Because it illuminates their bad judgment of people.. and so they sacrifice and silence the one who dares point out their hypocrisy’ by way of showing how much more light i have then you. but thats the idea of SUBMITTING’ to bigger light and acting HUMBLE. Something i have yet to see a christian do when seeing through the eyes of the bride within TRUTH.. of all Christians do that is anti what Jesus commanded Or DID. Way is narrow. Christians are Broadway’they do it for show and take his name for vanity purposes. Not because they believe in his way as THE RIGHT WAY to treat others..

Desiring God, John Piper, God commands us to teach that God is the saviour of ALL PEOPLE, that's one command that you don't keep. In fact you argue with God. You MUST believe that God is an sinful dictator who is a respecter of people and is the author of every bad and evil things. If you know and believe the Bible, and you believe what you teach, then you must admit that you think God contradicts Himself.

The creation story. Genesis 1. Why exactly was light created twice? On day one light was created and also on day four light was created. Also please take note of the light created on day one.. as it divided the "Day" (proper noun) from the "Night" (proper noun). However on day four when light was created, day and night are not proper nouns. Explanations?

Doesn’t all that God has commanded in the scripture come from the mouth of God? Did Jesus refer to only his words when he said: “he who hears these words of mine and does what I say is like the man who built his house on the rock …”.

Jesus gathered all His commands for us in One only: "Love one another! As I have loved you, so you must love one another." John 13:34-35
And to be sure that everyone gets it, He repeated it twice: John 15:12 and John 15:17.
Paul knew it, also: Galatians 5:14.
So, no longer there are two commandments, but one: Love one another!

Desiring God, John Piper, God commands us to teach that God is the saviour of
