obv Bryan has to have a micro-side-step-micro-dash in his bnb combos like he aint tough enough
the step isn’t necessary, you can just go in further for the b+3 and it’ll hit
I find that way harder than just side stepping right a bit. Way more consistent that way.@@nathanman1326

I play Byan too and have a super hard time to hit anything against her. The lows are too slow and mids and highs never hit anyway. Super stupid character imo

Hey dude, after using d3+4 1 for screw at the wall you can use uf3 instead of 4 into uf2 ender for more damage. I was labbing this exact situation the other day to figure out different wall options. It's very consistent

I guess i didn't explained the wall mechanics when i explained the taunt df21
You can get a maximum of 2 wall hit starting at 2 they fall at their fastest speed. If you somehow get 3 wall hit and didn't end the combo the next wall splat will never be a clean one and they will fall immediately the moment they reach normal wall splat
Example: on Lee stage you wall splat then df21(2 wall hit) f214 (50% pick up into a wall hit into a break) to break the hard wall that would be 3 wall hit you can then do b3f21 which give a wall splat but they will always fall too fast for you to do anything aside from a dash heat burst which ain't easy
This rules is also the main reason why you can't resplat forever (unless you're Jin with b21 a fast resplat move that also recover fast and 2 hits are fast enough to counter the falling speed)
Hence when you do a normal wall combo b21f uf2223 the b21 eats 2 wall hit and the uf2223 is fast enough that the wall hit don't matter
So when you do d3+4 2 it eat up only one so you can follow up with standing 4 or uf3 to use up the last wall hit then end the combo
It's all part of being a combo maker to remember all this lol. Even with single move resplat there are exception too. For single wall resplat you can get a maximum of 3. The first one doesn't use a wall hit but the second use 1 and then 2 and so one
As a xioayu main I switched to Bryan to try something new and hes so damn satisfying to win with

Brooo thanks for this! I thought that you could only get b3f~2,2 after the Snake Eyes install and that's just what it was. I thought they fixed characters needing to step in a certain direction to make a combo work in T8! I know Bryan had combos that you had to do quick right steps in T7 to make work!

One thing though, that first b3, f, 2, 1 combo ender, I still cant do it :( Practised for hours it feels like.
I just do qcf2, 1 You get slight less damage and wall travel though :/ but it's good enough for me at the moment (I'm Garyu with Bryan).

I made it all the way to blue, but I made things harder on myself because I didn't go for max damage.

Find the optimal and staple it ! People drop combos for only 2 3 damage ! Sacrifice lil damage for the guaranteed damage ! But your combo shouldn’t be too low damaged ! It should be above 65 !
Any tips? I have tried to main Bryan a couple times in T7 and T8 now bc I think his animations are sick af but he feels soooo awkward to play.

I can’t get the 1 to land after b2 it keeps whiffing and it looks like I’m not launching high enough
There are certain combos you can do b21 ! Like if you use qcf 2 4 for tornado ! Use b3 f 21 ! And you use qcb1 then use b21f
I have trouble with my side step jet upper combos I usually bound with quarter circle back 1 but it’s super inconsistent :(
I go with the super easy but consistent option !
F1+2 1 b21f24 🤭 less but guaranteed damage

Anyone got tips for consistently getting the SSR-MDF-B3,F21? I’ve been labbing for 90 min and the timing is really throwing me off

Think like you have a lot of time to work with combo ! If you rush it won’t work that way ! After tornado press down then f then b3 turn on the command list and make it clean ! By practice slowly ❤️

How can you side step for this combo on controller? I’m slow af with it
cancel the sidestep with forward. tap down then forward and then b+3. Just practice you'll get used to it
I use controller too (ds4 pad). You also need to move a bit forward still for the b3~21 follow up to hit. So it's ssr f b3~21. It actually doesn't take long to get used to
I tried the other way ! Dash then side step then b3 but I always get simple 3 !

After doing tornado ! Step down a lil ! Then forward ! Then b3 !

How would you describe Bryan game plan ? Keep out, counter ?
There’s no gameplan in this game ! The more you mash the more you win ! But we can’t mash with bryan right ? He skx on a big level
0:09 landing this double knee into b2,1 is inconsistent for me. A lot of times the second knee whiffs and sometimes when i get the second knee, i cant fully connect b2,1. Any tips on fixing this?
Boss you have to practice ! It’s cause of qcf34 ! Land it correctly and everything will connect ! Ps if you see that qcf34 didn’t bounce opponent higher ! Just do forward dash 1 then b3 f414 !
So you don’t drop the combo
I think you can also just deep dash for it, no need for the sidestep, but timing is more tight

I am curious, is Gatling rush ever better than uf2 combo? And can you do anything into Gatling rush on wall like 1+2,1 or df2,1 into Gatling rush? It was my fav Bryan move but I’m sad they removed snake eyes for it.
I think it's more damage, but nowhere near as good oki and uf2 can scoop low enemies where Gatling starts quite high
Good if you think it will kill.
Unfortunately you can't get extra hits at wall from moves like 1+2 1 into gatling rush. That only works with u2 because it's a mid move while gatling is a high if I am not mistaken.
This is the simplest way to put the differences between u2 and gatling rush. U2 gives good damage but allows for oki to be possible keeping your turn. Gatling rush does more damage than snake eyes u2 but it doesn't allow for oki.
It can even put you in negative to get tapped by your opponents fastest strongest while standing moves or even getting counter hit from their ws move if it has those properties buuuuut no worries about that unless if you decide to press after gatling rush while in negative frames.

@@senX if I want to end it on open stage then I would press b3 f22 ! It’s on 0:18 ! Then hit that missed was b3 f 21 ! In order to hit that move you need to side step a little tight then a lil forward dash then b3 f21 !
Now the part where the opponent goes onto his or her knees is 3+4 !
