Blaming Rahul Gandhi for Congress failure is just an easy way out. Congress failure is not due to leadership. The problem is with congress policy.
The problem with INC is that they have become a left party. Originally, INC was center party where both right & left leaders existed. Now, INC has become left party. The vaccum in the center has been filled up by BJP.
The only way for congress to regain its center space is to distance itself from leftist politics of appeasement (secularism) and anti-nationalism. Congress should accept Hindutva and Nationalism. Once Congress also supports Hindutva & Nationalism, then the focus will shift to other issues like employment & inflation. As long as Congress continues to fight against Hindutva or Nationalism, all other issues will be sidelined. And BJP will get a walkover.
