    I'm a North East tribal, did my HSSLC and college in Tamil Nadu. I have always so much respect for Tamilians and i still do. During my time in Tamil Nadu, i never experienced any discrimination, they always treated me as a fellow human being. There are many things we Indians could learn from Tamil Nadu

      Respect each other is the way to go instead super impose once belive into others. If Singapore can recognise Tamil as part of their language then there's no excuse for BJP to give due credit to Tamil language and their culture and believe instead of forcing their beliefs.

      Bro...I am from north India state uttrakhand and I respect your feelings ....you know why Hindi is important for India....look towards china why china is superpower one of the reason is there is one language which connects each and every Chinese with each other....whole north Indian states has there own language but instead of that we support Hindi and used it ...which connects whole north Indian states with each other ........same thing in south states each state has there own language but unfortunately south states are connected with eachother with foreign language english.....why not we support our own Indian language Hindi instead of English.....and if you start using Hindi it's make you more proud....and no one force you to don't use your local language you also use it to your day to day activities.....I hope you understand what I try to say....thank you🙏❤️ Jai hind🇮🇳🇮🇳

      Well I respect all languages..and all languages should be treated equal...
      But isn't every indian first language should be their native language like tamil telugu kannada ....but there should be a universal language in india also na through which any people of india can communicate anywhere in india...in that what's the problem with hindi...hindi is spoken and understood by majority people of india...
      And I have seen north east north side Rajasthan gujarat maharashtra...even they have no problem in speaking Marathi and hindi both and gujratis have no problem in speaking gujrati and hindi both north east have no problem in speaking hindi....
      Then why people in south have problem in speaking hindi as their second language...
      No one has forced to speak only hindi...only thing one is asking for unity there should be a secondary language through which people whole india can easily understand each other..
      If anyone has any other explanation or reason then pls tell...

      What u said is true. But the reason why we hate BJP is they doesn't want hindu , muslim , christian & other people to be united. They want people to always fight in the name of religion & caste.
      Food is individual wish. BJP have no rights to say what I have to eat. These dumb idiots saanghis by seeing a persons name they decide what he eat. Most ridiculous thing.
      Many sanghi idiots by seeing my they say I am non vegetarian.
      Reality is my parents eat non veg. But I don't like non veg.
      Similarly I have Brahmin friends. There parents don't eat non veg. But thr eat non veg.

    One more thing to add. A majority of Tamil people use initials instead of surnames. Surnames show which caste or group you belong to. But we use our dad or mom's first alphabet of the name as an initial. For e.g. If Senthil has a son named Anand, he will be named S. Anand. If Anand has a son called Kishore, he will be called A. Kishore. We are identified by our parents, not by our lineage.

    • @Deepknowledge03
      @Deepknowledge03 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      We should identify ourselves as humans not by parents or linage .
      Do you know what humans took so long to develop sense and science, it's the fear of death and how to stay alive long .
      Due to the upcoming unstability in india it is taken that the children born after 1997 are extremely prone to poverty and will not be able to afford house throughout their life .

    I'm a tamilian. I would like to mention some Major corrections.
    1. C.N.Annadurai did not leave DK party because Periyar married a younger woman. He left because Periyar was against electoral politics, but Annadurai was keen on it. Because he believed changes can be made only by political power.
    2. Tamil people are NOT AGAINST HINDI. We are against hindi "IMPOSITION". There's a difference.
    Proof:: The proof that Tamilians are not against hindi language per se.. but only against IMPOSITION is...
    "Hindi prachar sabha" is still functioning in Tamilnadu at its full potential and has never faced any violance in history. You can cross verify.
    The idea remains clear. If you have interest to learn any language no one should/can force you not to learn. But no one can also force you to learn a language if you don't want to. That's IMPOSITION. I myself being tamilian know fluent hindi. Learnt it out of own interest. I love Hindi as much as Tamil. Both are Indian languages and we should preserve the diversity. Not let any one take over the other's usage. Eventhough only very few people talk the minority language. India's pride is diversity.

    As a North Indian living in Bangalore for 15+ years, I can say that no South Indian person hates Hindi as a language. They're just against the fact that it is compulsory for them to learn hindi, which is basically imposition. I haveso many South Indian friends who speak with me in Hindi and I'm learning their language too. We have fun in all languages. Also another point, go to any random South Indian state, pick any random local, if anyone asks him any thing in Hindi, he will understand at least a little bit of what is being asked. But if the guy askes you in his local language, will you be able to understand what is he asking? He can understand our language, we can't understand his. So why isn't the same respect given to all languages? That is what the whole point is. Every language has its own history and culture, which should be respected. No language can be imposed on anyone. Everyone takes proud in their culture and language, and we must respect each other's culture.

Hindi bias is to stop national politics.. Our CM talks about preserving Tamil heritage but never wishes us for any festivals to appease minorities.. he wishes for every other religious festivals except Hindu festivals.. leaving religion out, if there 10 people are doing a group project and if there is no common language for them to communicate, how will they ever do itit efficiently ? Same goes with a country.. our country would have advanced a lot more if we all could understand each other.. Also, so far, not even 1 language in India has become extinct just because Hindi is in usage in that state.. it would have just been a parallel language like English.. i am from Tamilnadu & never studied Hindi in school or college. As a Textile Engineer, after employment, I was trained in cotton classing & for purchase of raw cotton, I had to travel to cotton growing areas in North. My first tour was to Punjab during 80s when the Khalistan movement was in its peak. Except Tamil & English I do not know any other languages. But I learnt little Hindi with my own efforts within 2 months. And within a year I could speak & read fluently. By the end of 3 years, I learnt Gujarati, Punjabi, Marati & Telugu. Necessity will make a man to learn. No need to impose.

      @rajeshj2499 From a Dravidianist perspective, which has made Tamil Nadu into the second largest economy in India today, English serves us better than Hindi serves us.
      It's just too much effort to study Hindi and not enough benefit.
      Also, because most people in India also speak English, there's no point in making an extra effort to study Hindi.

We no need to give unnessary importance to other languages unless there is a need. We are learning English with our own interest. The people who don't want to learn English can learn their schooling in Tamil. There is no issue. And who you are to decide our decision. As a Malayali, I strongly feel that our country needs to be divided. This isn't just about language; the north Indian states are focusing solely on population growth, neglecting development, and migrating to our states. We have our own distinct language, culture, and identity, which you're eroding by coming here and overcrowding our spaces. If this continues, I foresee non-Hindi speaking states demanding state autonomy or even separation in the near future.

    • @vijayajegan3021

    • @serioton0829
      @serioton0829 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      @vijayajegan3021 Listen, I'm proposing that Kerala implement a new regulation. To work or study in Kerala, people from other states would need to pass a Malayalam language proficiency test, similar to IELTS. To stay permanently, they'd require PR. Moreover, entering Kerala would require a visa, regardless of the mode of transportation - Train
      Similarly, other states would have their own language proficiency tests:
      - *Tamil Nadu*: Tamil language exam
      - *Karnataka*: Kannada or Tulu language exam
      - Each state would have its own language exam, promoting linguistic diversity and regional autonomy
      To enforce this rule, Kerala would need greater autonomy. I believe India should be a country with each state being a sovereign state, having its own powers and decision-making authority.
      In this setup, India's role would be limited to defense, with a unified army protecting the country's borders. However, each state would have its own:
      - *No UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)* controlling state-level administrative appointments
      - *No governors appointed from other states*; instead, each state would choose its own leader
      - *Superior power and autonomy* in decision-making, law enforcement, and governance
      This would allow each state to maintain its unique cultural identity while promoting national unity and cooperation.

      @serioton0829 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @vijayajegan3021 If the central government were to change its laws to allow states to set their own language proficiency requirements for incoming workers and students, and apply this uniformly across all states, then yes, Kerala and other southern states could potentially implement the rule i described without needing independence.

    Plus Tamil Hindu folks have Lord Murugan as their patron god. They love tamil so much that their state is name after it. You can't come with your Hindi politics and try to shove it to them. Tamilans are not spineless like the Chinese who will bow down to whatever their government orders.

    For all non -tamils here. Tamilians are not against any language. We fight to protect our language. 1920 we fought for pure tamil - i.e. against mixing sanskrit words in tamil writings, newspapers, books etc., 1965 we fought against hindi imposition. In 1990 onwards, it is against mixing of english with tamil. Likewise it is not against any particular language but to protect tamil...
    I can very very proudly say that nowadays other indians took cue from tamils and started realizing about their mother tongue and fighting to protect the same.

    4. Highest education rate among lower caste people in India.

    6. Lower caste or any poor people can fight for justice and win in tamil Nadu. Because there are so many local groups and strong social justice lawyers are there in tamil Nadu.

I do not speak any of the southern Indian languages, but I picked up some key words in Kannada, Malayalam & Tamil. Did not face any issue or hostility when I was trying to talk with locals using Hindi & English. Many know Hindi and many know English. Even South Indians travel across India, and it helps them to learn some Hindi in their travels. No language should be imposed. People will themselves learn, based on location requirement. And of course, in every state the local language is preferred and favoured. That is natural worldwide.
