Rainy car scene, high key look on a budget, 8 looks with 1 light were my favourites. I'd like to see perhaps more budget lighting set-ups for cinematic scenes.

dude, ive watched so many of your videos for the last year or so after i got into cinematography during the pandemic, idk how youre not at 1 mil + subs. You are truly the GOAT when it comes to lighting, framing, knowledge, literally everything. I just got myself an Atomos Shinobi and finally have the ability to use False color and just did a test with it and i never had a shot exposed so perfectly ever...like ever.

This is one of my favorite videos! I have been wondering about this for a while. I’ve seen lots of other videos on false colors, but without knowing how they translate to BM they haven’t helped a lot except to let me know that they’re great to use! I’d love a video that expands on this a little and talks about how to use contrast ratios with the false color and what some general rules might be. Thank Brady for all your great content!

I love all of your videos! Being self taught, your videos have really helped me learn so much about lighting. “How to light a night scene” is probably my favorite video of yours though it’s hard to choose. I’d love to learn more about creative ways to get different colors in a scene or background and then incorporating different color temperatures. Keep up the amazing work!

First one was lighting a car scene (loved the rain effects and just the indie approach to the whole scene), the second was lighting a camp fire. I remember trying to shoot a simple camp fire scene when I was like 15 and I could not figure out how to get the colours or the exposure right. Of course, it was because I had no supplementary lighting and I had *zero clue* what I was doing. Anyway, point is, thanks for the stellar content!

The rainy car scene was my favorite and I would love to see a video on what you always have with you on a shoot.
