This is something I really love and I might check it out at some point. It's almost beautiful really how well this blends in with he stock game, having the exotic matter be generated through electricity instead of being a separate resource you have to find.

Had to turn on infinite electricity in the debug menu because it was impossible for me to even leave kerbin's SoI without running out of power. Still takes a hella long time to get exotic matter back, but at least I don't have to worry about the bubble collapsing and destroying everything or most of it.
I would love to see a mod dev make a slipspace drive, like what they use in Halo. You pick a destination, activate the slipspace rupture, and it sends your ship to the coordinates. Of course, it will have to be mounted properly. We don't want a repeat of that colony ship. They only found half of it.
oh ya, definitely worth any mod that adds better power generation. still is cool you can do it with vanilla power though ... you just need a lot of it lol

You need to revisit this. It's a lot of fun, especially if you couple the warp drives to move huge ships. Also, you should probably revisit this with a better understanding of how it works; because you were doing a lot of things wrong, which is why Warp 1 began exploding and why Warp 2 disintegrated. :)
Be sure to watch out for Daemons while using the Warp Drive! Also Little Disappointed that you couldn't remake the Imperial Dreadnought from 40k. Cause with that Warp Drive, We'd be Claiming worlds in the name of the God Emperor Jeb.

No, if you put multiple Warp drives, your ship will be torn appart. You simply can't make super huge ships, you(ve got to make the whole ship be contained within the warp bubble. What you can do is make ships that can dock with one another (put docking ports at the fore and aft) and once every ship has arrived at their destination independantly, they can dock and make bigger space station, but you'll have to undock them to use warp drives, otherwise, boom !
The way to get enough power for your ship is to have a lot and I mean a LOT of solar panels, and a crap ton of batteries so you have a massive reserve of power! In fact, with this drive, your ship probably will be dwarfed by the solar panels. I'm still figuring out how to get into orbit and I did it once, but once I did, generating power was priority number 1!
There should be a mod with a nuclear reactor that generates half the power needed for this, BUT you need radiation shields to protect a crew, and they are VERY Heavy

The most efficient Warp Drive is this in KSP 1.1.2. But, the thrust is only 1 kN. But, what matters?, Warp drive is 16 times faster than light for interstellar travel.
Wait... since the bubble can be accelerated independently of the outside world, when you brake, you don't actually gain any momentum. So basically, when you disengage the warp drive, you'll probably have the exact same speed vector as when you started it, near kerbin. So, that Duna encounter was a lie... It would've happened had you constantly accelerated using this drive. Seems pretty handy for manouvering since you don't have to worry about momentum, but if you can't go *THAT* fast, it's like... meh?
This alcubierre drive is a real theoretical thing but the geometry of the ring is not correct and you don't actually need exotic matter just electricity energy in real life why the ring would be more thick is energy if it's a thin ring it requires the energy mass of Jupiter but if it's wider the energy mass is the size of voyager 1 space craft

Unless there is a page I missed they are SERIOUSLY out dated. I could not even find the anti-gravity / repulser engines mod. Tried the cKan, but still none of the ones I really like. Is there a way to get the 1.6.1 to use old mods with out crashing or giving that popup of wrong mod ver for this game?

My ship just kinda...lurches forward then stops while the people I see in the tutorials and all over the internet can launch themselves out of the solar system. What the hell? I'm beginning to think that either my interstellar Mod is not working properly or this is all BS.
You can have a warp station in orbit of Kerbin and use it to instantly send a rocket to another planet/moon via docking, and if another rocket needs some warp help the station will have a probe core, so that's gonna be fun when I get a PC

I agree on the exotic matter but I think it was a good compromise for being as close to stock as possible.
Couple this with the b9areospace giant reactor like I did and you pretty much have unlimited warp

Also I think it was his RTGs overheating. The bubble never actually collapsed, and it was just the RTGs that exploded.

Activate the cheat menu, pause then up down up down left right left right. Then turn on infinite gurl and electricity and boom.
if you let me reroute helm control to engineering i can reconfigure the deflector to show a stable warp field.
