We just need to get Scott Manley to voice a "hullo! Scott Munley here" line that would play when you enter its sphere of influence. Then it would say "I'm Scott Munley, fly safe!" When you leave.
But also incredibly slowly and a good bit bass boosted, really give some cosmic gravitas to his words

Sorry about the outdated version and broken science experiments! I'm gonna work on updating the mod
Update: The mod has been updated!
It now works in 1.12, science experiments (Eva Reports, Crew Reports, Surface Samples, Barometer Scans (the moon gives off a very cool atmosphere), Gravity Scans, Seismic Scans, Mystery Goo, the Science Jr and Temperature Scans) with custom crowd-sourced definitions work in all of the biomes. Sorry it took 4 years for me to fix it all and it was done with great help from Duck.
You should make one if Matt replacing Minmus.

@@rango_gt I'm pretty sure KSP's engine doesn't support concave planet surfaces, so no caves or overhanging cliffs. (The Mun arch is a separate object, not terrain.)
What if the nose is it’s own planet with zero g and is merged inside the main face so that it has a cave

As I'm cruising with my spacestation/interplanetary cruiser and miner with multiple landers and science modules, I just now learned that there's an engine plate where you can choose the amount of engines you can put on them. could've been so useful in past missions xD. thanks
It's part of the making history dlc, but I'd say it's worth it. The other dlc does have some good parts but I've found that I've used the making history parts much more

The backwards rotation of the Scott Munly meant that when you relaunched you had negative delta v and started orbiting in the wrong direction
just negative v initially, delta-v was spent getting v back to >0

I've always thought these older parts kinda gave the game a more unique feeling art style compared to the current ones. Neither is particularly bad though.
Usually I like playing with that old parts as variants mod and using the old models either early on as like a visual progression thing or in situations where they kinda fit more.
Well you already brought Scott back to Kerbin. But maybe you could build a base with him in his own ear canal and put him there?
This was delightfully cursed. I know you are a very busy man, but I would totally love to see you discover more of the wonders of the Munley in a future mission like this if you were ever up for doing it. It looked like the ears go pretty deep.
