Completely agree. And I use IPO all the time to clean and it works for the carts. LOL, I would never boil a game board. But I have read and heard others talk about, even watched a TH-camr, boil the 72 pin connector that’s in the NES. Worse case scenario it’s toast the pin board, but a replacement pin connector is less than $10. So it’s an experiment that I might try one day if I get another NES that needs a new pin connector.
