Excellent video. The water behaviour shots are much appreciated. Wrt water spots. The most recent The Car Boutique video using Wetcoat shows they had real issues when not drying off any residual product. Worth a watch. And on a side note, i think I'm going to try using AB Just Wheels on the tyres. Don't know why ive not done this yet. Thanks again and congrats on 4k subscribers
Thanks mate 👋 Ah thanks for the info, so it might have been residue after all , couldn’t be helped as it was raining but the product has lasted well and the wife said she’d noticed it was shiny 🤣 Thanks again 👌
I wont say much about the products at this stage Graeme, as you know i have a similar bundle of products to get testing, but i will say that this was yet another absolutely superb video - very professionally edited, crystal clear, honest information, humour, subtle music to mention a few... a review that i voyldve watched for an hour or more! By the way, that blue is absolutely stunning... And the wheel weasel looks interesting 😅
Thanks Mark!, I’m looking forward to seeing what your thoughts are as I know you have a little more from VP to get to grips with, hopefully now that the weather is finally breaking it might be time to get cleaning again!! It’s been a long time since I had a blue car , 1998 Vauxhall Vectra SRi saloon it was and I really loved it
Thanks Colin!, yeah it’s a very difficult one , 10 years ago yes, be all over that praising how great everything was but it seems like VP need to relook at the core chemicals and upgrade to 2024 🤔
Hi Graeme another comprehensive review of a brand I know but have never used as I guess I thought it was what high density wash outlets used and not for me. I have just commented on Paul Doldens latest video on the use of the weasel which is a development in detailing I am happy to let pass me bye and Paul also commented it was a bit of a "Faf" Most of my alloy wheels are hollow on the rear of the spokes and I don't think that would clean the indentation, I prefer to use the GT wheel mitt or the my Gyeon glove microfiber with the thumb that makes it easier to get round the back of the spokes. Your car is stunning in that colour and I do like the shine on your alloys which just shows that a well maintained car is well worth doing. As you know I am a wax guy but those snow foam ceramic spray on spray off products have a place for winter detailing or cars that I look after that for whatever reason I don't see that often. I was off out to do my Spring Decon wash on the Jag and at 7.00am the weather was perfect but now at 9.30 am the sky is cloudless I guess a chair in the garden with a good book and a spin round on my Mountain Bike in the afternoon is more the order of the day. I look forward to the next one.
Thanks John!, along with the Auto Finesse lambs wool brushes that just go flat and limp when wet don’t seem to offer the same level of cleaning ability as the official wheel woolies You’re 100% right most alloys have hollow indents in them that make the weasel just one of those ‘little use to anyone but make great reels’ products 😅 Was all set for a day of cleaning today myself but yet again the weather had other ideas 😤 Roll on summer ☀️😎
Another great video mate 👏👏. I would be confused a little too with those 2 wheel cleaners but I too use GT wheel shampoo and if needs be I'd use GT Decon at 1:10 for stubborn brake dust but my wheels never get that dirty. I'd love you to make a video comparing and or reviewing ceramic shampoos, giving the how to apply and what to expect and also the pros & cons. Finally I use Autoglym's Polar Seal in winter simply for its quickness and its available to me locally via my local motor factors shop and the fact you only need 40ml in 250ml water a bottle lasts quite a long time.
Thanks Paul!, if I was starting out it would be a great brand to introduce me to chemicals and a routine but like you say time has moved on and there are improvements to cleaning chemicals and I do wonder if valet pro need to re look at a wheel cleaner to see if it still fits in with todays market 🤔 Comments noted about the ceramic shampoo, really don’t like them that much but I’ll have a play around with a few 😅
@@GMDetails it's another video idea for you 🤭🤭. Could throw you a couple of quid to purchase more chemicals...not that you need any more chemicals. The way you're going you'll be opening (The Only Used Once) shop 🤣🤣
Top video mate and a great selection they sent. Ref Bilberry.....it ws always my go to for years beforebi rrally stsrted using lots of others inc shampoos. Nevwr had an issue with it but like yourself i think id find it hard to come away from the shampoos now. The foamy just makes them all that more interesting amd pleasurable to use. Ref the brand......theyve been around so long and most resellers seem to stock them but i feel like the whole branding seems so dated amd boring. Almost needs a refresh and bringing upto date.
Good thorough test of the products Graeme, but aside from the snowfoam they all seemed a bit 'meh' for me. Around 10 years ago we'd have all been raving about them. How times change
Thank you!!, that’s made my week and made this video worth while for me!, I also hate ASMR videos, you learn very little from them and yet somehow they get tens of thousands of views 🤷🏻♂️
I enjoyed the video but Wheel weasel? I prefer Spoke Stoat and either way seems a bit of a fad. I’ve only tried a couple bits from Valet Pro and enjoyed them but do see them as a no nonsense kind of brand which isn’t a bad thing, good value for pros and as you’ve shown you can get good results just not jumping out at me as an enthusiast as must have.
Inconclusive at the moment Jon, I don’t think it is capable of removing even the slightest of built up grime right enough, only good enough for a tickle around the barrels 🥴
Seems ok products without being spectacular, when you have products such as bilt hamber around now it's hard to really put your money with these sorts of brands/product now as the likes of autowheel, touchless, traceless, surfexHD and autoQD are all FAR superior products and also highly concentrated.

Comprehensive and honest review as usual! Seems like mostly effective products with nothing to get excited about!

Very thorough, a really good watch, Graeme.
Appreciate that Lee!, nothing exciting really but I tried to make it an enjoyable watch 😅

Hi mate 👋 EXACTLY my thoughts too, the snow seal is actually very good tho
I love bilberry. It's a top tier product. Use it all the time
I’d appreciate it all the more getting it to work on absolutely manky wheels, I’ll def keep it for a real test on another video
@@GMDetails I just use it as a pre wash on the wheels. I don't use it as a cleaner with the brushes
@@TruckerMatty93 ahh exactly how I was going to use it going forward , do you use it at the 1-4 or 1-10?
@@GMDetails I actually use it at 1-7. Perfect for the inbetween. But I'll mix it up stronger if need be
@@TruckerMatty93 thanks again mate 🙏
Love videos like this that have plenty dialogue over them. The whole ‘asmr’ method is a bore, I switch it off after a couple minutes

Spoke Stoat from Stoke 🤣🤣
But what about the Hamster with a stick up it's bum?
Appeared but not really spoken about (like Bruno)
