Im so confused i got ps remote play and everything worked but my controller turned off, i tried turning my controller back on and it disconnected the connection from the ps5 to my laptop
@@fizzy360wolf hey just so you know once you remote play on phone you can’t go to open discord it closes down remote play. I’m on a iPhone 12 mini maybe that was the reason. But it’s not possible because it kicks you off of remote play
There is a very important point. if you streaming and it is low fps on the viewers screen. You need to open the Remote app at administrator mode. This should fix the low fps problem on the viewer side. This problem took me a while for understanding the problem and the answer.

That's literally the reason why you would want a second account so that you don't need to deal with this. Just follow the video through if you want to use the controller on the console

But if you do refuse to create a secondary account, simply plugging in the controller to your pc should solve the issue. But expect there to be some input delay. Yeah I don't believe you can start livestreams from the console whilst connected to remote play sadly. hey, one question, I just had an update and after doing it I cannot stream the way it worked in the video. Now, once I boot up the remote app, it disconnects my current ps5 controller and it disconnects once I turn it back on and choose my profile. Does anybody have the same problem?
I know now how to share screen, but can I change the sound directly to PS5? So when I play VR, its not comfortable to use computer to hear my friends, because otherwise I won't hear whats happening in the game

I did it on my cell phone (moto g82 5g) and when I activate remote play and enter discord, my friends only see a black screen but they can hear what is happening in the game

Not sure what the issue is, so maybe I can get some help here. I followed this guide, but the stream gives no visual on Discord. Audio comes through fine, but the viewer can't see anything. Is there a setting or something I need to adjust for Discord to pick up the visual to stream?
ive been streaming with this method perfectly fine and just recently to ive been experiencing the same bug as you so far no fix but im sure it was cuz of the new software update for the app that killed it
it's because you have to have the window focused. just click on the on the game and always have remote play focused. as soon as you press somewhere else on your pc it just goes black. Hope it helps :)

Actually I just tried running remote play in administrator mode and that seems to be working. Make sure you have the game open when you want to connect it to remote play.

I can’t stream it I tried using MacBook and everything works but stream it says when I click on remote play “your stream is still running we’ve just paused the preview to save your resources” But nobody sees a stream it’s black so something wrong on discord end cause the streaming part is where it don’t work
Hi!! Macbook user here with a 2020 model, I have the same problem. Unfortunately it is because the macbooks don’t have the correct graphic settings nor video capture tech built to be able to stream through discord. You have to buy separate pieces
In that case, I would suggest downloading OBS or Streamlabs OBS, then adding the remote play window as a window to capture to one of those. Then enable virtual camera on OBS, then set your camera on discord to be the OBS virtual camera. I don't have a Mac to try this on, but I would imagine this workaroud should work. Let me know how you get on! :D

Thank you for making this video it really helped me out but when i try to play with the progress from the main account its switches me on the second and does not let me switch to it not even my controler if i do that it would say conection lost and would stop the remote play. does someone have advice over this? I'm experiencing the same issue. I think in the meantime I'll just have to stream from my main account. Edit, if you tie the controller to the main account after a disconnection, then go back to do the remote play with the alt account, that seems to work

I'm experiencing the same issue. I think in the meantime I'll just have to stream from my main account. Edit, if you tie the controller to the main account after a disconnection, then go back to do the remote play with the alt account, that seems to work
