- The countdown is on, and Brevin has three days before he leaves for his temporary mission reassignment in Boston, Massachusetts. Because he will eventually be serving in Brazil, the family takes him out to eat at Tucanos Brazilian Grill in honor of his nearing departure. That evening, Brevin begins to gather his things to start the process of packing.

We are in Eastern Oregon it’s been bad there are still a couple here with in half an hour of us burning . Praying for you Brevin may the Lord bless you and keep you and equip you to serve . Larissa leaves next week for Tulsa

Sad to see Brevin go. Will be praying for him! I was in South Dakota a few weeks ago and smoke got so thick you would have thought you were in the London Fog.
It has been so bizarre to have smoke so thick!
The air quality here in Vegas is absolutely horrible as well. Boston is amazing! Brevin is going to be such a blessing to the people of Boston n Brazil. God speed Brevin!
I would live to visit Boston someday. Now it has become a definite destination goal 😊.

Two years will go quickly, then he'll be off to college, picking his wife, and being Sealed for all Eternity, then grandbabies! Haha did I speed things up a bit?!!!!!!!😜

I'm in San Jose, Ca and our air quality is Moderate, I can see our mountains.
Hopefully there will be some relief from fires in California soon.

Best of luck Brevin. It was so sad seeing him pack up. Can’t imagine how you all are feeling. I think that is the first time you filmed in his room. I like the green colored walls and I usually don’t like green.
We let Brevin pick the paint color for his room when he was much younger (I think he was like six or seven). Garrett is happy to move in to the “green room.”

Yes, the plan is for him to serve for two years.
I was walking my dog in my neighborhood in California and two missionaries (one from UTAH) came up to me and talked to me! How nice! Do you know Elder Cliff? He was a nice missionary!

That went by fast from when he first found out he was going to Boston. Or so it seems. Lol. Reminds me of when my boys were getting ready to go to their bootcamps. Lots of mixed mom emotions. Stay safe.

When is brevin going to go to college? Like does he do the Boston trip then immediately go off to college, or does he do college while in Boston, or is he going to wait a year? I’m just confused at how school will feed into it
Brevin’s school has allowed him to defer until fall of 2023. He will be solely focused on his mission over the next two years. When he returns, his school and scholarship will be waiting for him.
My cousin was supposed to go to Brazil but they switched her to Alaska.
Is there a Portuguese speaking population in Alaska?

Is there something wrong with Brevin’s neck? He always seems to turn his whole body when he turns & seems very stiff from his shoulders up. I have always been curious?
yeah I was thinking the same he moves so stiff, like his back hurts
He’s just naturally stiff in the same way others are naturally flexible. We’ve had tests, scans, and X-rays done to confirm that to be the case.
How is bevins back/neck?
He still looks so stiff round his neck
He’s fine. Thanks for expressing concern. He’s just naturally inflexible and has limited range of motion, but he’s not experiencing any pain.
Does brevin have problem with his neck? He looks so stiff in every video for some reason.
You know how some people are naturally really flexible? For Brevin, it’s just the opposite. He is inflexible and has limited range of motion. We’ve looked into it to see if there was a medical explanation, but all of the several tests and x-rays came back normal.
Imagine Brevin comes back a little fattened up.
We’re hoping for that. Jason looked just like Brevin when he left for a mission-tall and super skinny. He filled out in those two years, so I’m guessing Brevin will as well.

I have asthma. And can't go outside. I cannot go outside and sit on the deck even i. If I have my mask on
Jason also has asthma, and it has been irritating to him as well.
So Spencer you are losing your right hand man, it will be very strange not to have him home, I bet?!
Just today Spencer turned to Brevin and said, “I’m going to miss you, Brevin. Who am I going to mess around with and bug at 11:00 PM?” 😢

Why do all LDS wear white shirts? To be honest it kind of freaks me out and reminds me of a cult. I do not mean disrespect by my comment. It is just what I think of when I see a bunch of people all wearing the same thing. I wish Brevin all the best in his travels and to be healthy.

@@gweisa899 Thanks for that but it is not just their uniform everyone wears a while shirt no matter what they do.
Missionaries follow dress standards outlined by church leadership. They are expected to look clean and professional. It also allows them to be easily identifiable. In some areas, they are also allowed to wear blue dress shirts 👔 . Brazil is one such location.
@@WhatAreWeDoing Thanks for that information. I was really thinking more like when I see LDS familes go to church they all wear white shirts. Why is that? Is there a dress code?
