If you have and handheld air pump you can put it on the schrader valve and give it a pump the bladder will pop right out, its a little bit messier that way but ive had bad luck with snapping valve stems.
@@brian.d.mobley Really? Almost every shock i have done they have all been a major pain to get out but they also have been way beyound their service life. But I appreciate all the videos you make, they are very imformative.
@@davidpalmer287 Maybe I have been lucky! What I DO have problems with is getting that dang seal on that goes around the piston. I do a lot of cussing when I work on those! HAHA!! Thanks for watching my videos! Im so glad they help! Its very satisfying to know you can help others with stuff like this.
@@brian.d.mobley Yea. Those suck. Ive been using the low friction ones that mx tech offers they are cut with a little alignment notch in the center so the ends mate back up.
Thank you for showing this shock rebuild. This is very similar to a 150r setup, so much appreciated.
Sure! That’s a really old video so I’m glad there are people out there that can benefit from it. Thanks for watching!
Finally I found a video where they don't have $150 in special tools to rebuild the damn shock.
Ha! I try to use “normal” tools as much as possible! Thanks for watching!
Excellent video.
Glad you liked it! It’s an early one and I was pretty inexperienced with videography back then.
Can you replace the bumpstop without pulling the shock completely apart
Unfortunately, no. 😢

Hey David. I never have had trouble getting the bladder off, but thanks for the tip! And, thanks for watching!

@@davidpalmer287 I have been using the same! So much easier. But they dont make one for every shock.
