Dr Michael Heiser and Dr Chuck Missler - both IMO are scholars & teachers that need to be heard.
I loved Missler that at the core of everything he taught demonstrated he was anchored in scripture. Also, unlike so many other Biblical teachers, Missler gave credit to where he got the information! Also Chuck’s rabbit trails into dimensions and ancient rabbis.

I always wished Rogan would come across Dr Heiser’s work and would have invited him on. I’m so grateful for Dr. Heiser’s work. It has impacted my life and study so much.

I hate to tell you but the name Jesus is far from the hebrew name he given whilst walking on earth. His name is in Our Fathers name. In fact He said He came in His Fathers name. His Fathers name YHWH, the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.Our Saviour was not greek, nor was the letter J even invented. Time to use critical thinking. His name is important. If you call on the wrong name, will you be saved???
Maybe I missed something, but when did he give any other explanations apart from saying "they are wrong"? I believed I would have obtained inspirations and clarity, but I just heard a person neglecting a Thesis without explaining where the mistakes are. Furthermore, he also makes a huge mistake speaking about Angels and saying they have no terrestrial needs: in Geneys 8, when Yahweh and other 2 angels go to Abraham in the desert , they are hungry and thirsty and Abraham amd Sarah give them bread and a cooked lamb.

I think it’s important as Christians that we get to discuss these revelations together since it can be challenging for our faith, but it may lead us to the truth.
I loved Michael Heiser’s teaching on this subject. Honestly, I don’t care about Joe and Terrence’s discussion, I skipped all their segments and only listened to Heiser.
Heiser was on top of anything Sitchin produced. He even offered to debate him but Sitchin never accepted the opportunity.
Facts!
Dr Mike is the one that helped me understand the Bible a lot more. His best saying is if it sounds weird, it's important. The man is right. We have lost a great Biblical teacher. He is missed, and called home.

I read most of the Zecheriah Sitchin series a couple of decades ago or so. I came to two conclusions.
1. This guy could write better science fiction than many science fiction writers.
2. What impressed me was he could thouroughly debunk many of the orthodox theories of the past, especially those built on shaky foundations that are occasionally brought to light to the embarrassment of supposed experts.
So, we still have a lot of digging to do. Believe it or not, Dorothy, academia does not have all the answers.

Gold is a great conductor as is silver and copper. They had tech in Noah's day just not sure what it was; interesting.
They had the advantage of supernatural beings directly giving them information.
I remember thinking when I first heard of Enoch book and I thought if the “watchers” knew such things to teach, then those teachings came from wherever they came from and knew and used such knowledge and even before they taught mankind so it must have been a ok to know such skills.
Gold is great for making jewelry. Salt not so much. Gold is also a fantastic conductor, it doesn’t tarnish at all. Very useful gold is. Of course gold is the most popular currency.

I’ve read through Dr Heiser’s Why Sitchens is wrong blog in which he encourages to read the translated cuneiform tablets. In only reading the first two poems it states “returning to Nibiru “ . Translations that Michael Heiser failed to cite. There’s confirmation bias on both sides. 🙏🏽

The Watchers giving these technological/esoteric/alchemical skills to humanity here ties into Babylon as both the city and its technological pinnacle in the Tower (symbolically and literally).

With the other nations, he confounds their languages and gives those other nations stemming from Babylon over to the lesser gods/spiritual beings/principalities and powers that do not honor the Covenant.

Sumer (Mesopotamia ), Indus Valley, Egypt...some 5000 to 6000 thousand years ago something strange happened.

When biblical storries were written, pyramids stood ( most likely already destroyed) for thousands of years, becoming long before a matter of speculation.
Egyptian civilisation at that time already experienced the times of prosperity, along with the times of chaos charactersied by rebelion, occupation, division, fall of the morale in society etc...
The only circle of knowledge ( hidden - occult ) were the circles of power - rulers and most likely even bigger power, that always performs so much of the power in the open but even more so, from the shadow - caste of priests with the highest level of the acces to the 'sacred knowledge'...
And it is the biggest suspect when it comes to any forms of 'transformation' that occurs in the history of human kind.
At the end of the day, historically, they claimed themselves that they were either an offspring to the heavenly gods, or they were the ones annoited by the divine powers from heaven.

From what I've found the original Egyptians might not have been human. We just know that those on earth right now aren't kin to them possibly. If you’re that smart where you can make a race of creatures that die, eat and sleep yet you can make robots. Stitchin liked to claim he basically had the correct Translation and the earlier translations that was kind wrong. Most earlier religions connected gold to the sun. and a lot of early religions started with sun worship or there’s also ancestor worship, which honestly speaking, feels like Enok has this ancestral worship also.

I wish someone would do a historical breakdown of the people who had written languages: the Egyptians, Sumerians, and those written languages that came later. In what written language was the Ten Commandments written? Did the Egyptians teach Moses Hebrew or Egyptian? Did the Egyptians teach their slaves, the Jews, Egyptian writing? Did Moses learn a different language from his in laws, the people of his wife? Why is there a similarity between the Greek alphabet and the Hebraic alphabet? Whose people originated the alphabet; as opposed to the hieroglyph and cuneiform? Where did this type of language and writing system originate?
Can you have language without a writing system? Yes. It's called an oral tradition.
I have no problem mixing my Christian beliefs with the ancient texts. They don't conflict ... just adds and expands.

Ammon Hillman PHD for a deep dive into the ancient greek bible translations. The greek version of the Epic is the closest to the reason for and truthful translation of the bible.

Heiser was a great professor and the documentary sounds fantastic.
I love Joe Rogan but when it comes to biblical things then I would not doubt Dr Heiser. The unseen realm is a great introduction into supernatural and he wrote that. He has a podcast called Fringepop. He has a video called Angels and a video called Demons. When he got saved his parents were not Christian yet and they ask him if he had joined a cult. He was taken from us too soon. He died from cancer. Theres none like him.

The fact of the matter is that Jesus told us that his Father is not of this world so that’s a lot to unpack. The idea that the gods came here from another planet is not all that far fetched when it comes to biblical principle. In this universe there is spiritual truth and physical truth and there is an underlying balance between those. The problem is that we only have 5 senses to explore all of this so we’re always going to be clueless until our perception changes.

yeah and it's also part of the new age alien 👽agenda👿 Heiser was an ancient semetic languages scholar , but also had limits on some things he either didn't know or couldn't talk about , biblical cosmology is real and basically mainstream science is garbage., like heliocentrism , soon as you learn we live inside the world sun and moon are both small and go around us like hands on a clock on 6 portals that give us the seasons and day and night , the ice wall circle holds the world's oceans in , but there are drain and water pathways that clean the water , heat it up and circulate it again , aliens are fallen angels and demons and the earth is an Aquarium and it's enclosed world . realms above and below are real , and space is not what we been told at all . good and evil exist in us and the world . and in the heavens . 👿.
Admittedly Dr. Heiser is a knowledgeable Bible scholar. However, we must understand his studies of what he refers to as the Old Testament is the Old Testament after the 6th-7th Redaction of the ancient texts. This redaction is when monotheism was first introduced around the time of King Josiah. During the Redaction the original writings were changed to express the theology of scribes doing the redaction. Dr. Heiser often states that there is not any writings of the old Testament that talk about flying machines or Chariots, that is because he believes the redaction rather than the original writings. There are many many writings that tell a completely different story than the one he talks about, in scripture. Not to mention the world wide ancient history of the indigenous people who talk about flying machines and how similar they are to peoples who lived in distant continents before there was communication between the continents, their distant past. So be careful and not let a persons scholarship of certain areas be understood as to being a scholar in all areas of research.
You can’t just use the Bible to debunk or research. You need to go to original texts. There missing books in the Bible go to those missing books/ texts. Please research on your own and don’t use a commercial book that’s obviously lacking all of the info needed. That’s why you get confused
Rogans viewers (I'm one of them but not in this category) only hear Joe's guest deliver a gist of what they may find is true while others have read the ancient source texts and dissertation and commentarys about these ideas and see most rather do the less work and just go by snippet ideas on the podcasts or other TH-cam shows and say that's all that is their and if it isn't true or more info may be out their I don't have time to look it up or one is to lazy to - that's the problem with only watching and hearing when one needs to read and study!

I think most people realize Stitchin had many inaccuracies however in general the ideas he presents such as Annunaki being extraterrestrial, conducting genetic alterations on hominid genetics and developing an advanced terrestrial civilization were most likely correct as opposed to the dribble that the cult of archeology protects.
