Bought a quest 3. Was about to sell it and saw your vids. Went out and bought a decent strap and the link cable you recommended and bosh. It’s staying. You made a difference to me re trying it. The guide. The equipment recommendation made a world of difference. Nicely done….nicely done.
nothing beat the immersive feeling of VR. Had a pico4 started iracing again and never looked back. Now have the quest 3 and its even clearer with much better colours. I will never ever go back to 2d racing I tried it and immediately crashed. Currently Division 3 in iracing, racing lines are much better and easier in VR.
Rear stepping out is a diff thing. It is 1 click to fix. Go to the last setup page and change LSD clutches from 6 to 4 for the good balance. I do this for every single car that supports it.
That GT1 has been the go to car in AMS2 since the get go. So immersive and believable. Thankfully other cars have now caught up with the huge lead it once had over literally everything else in the sim. Not surprised you enjoyed it. Thanks for the recent VR focus, BTW. The Quest 3 heralds a new dawn for the average VR simmer.
The camara issues are still there unfortunately and the settings are really bad , but it's less of an issue in VR because your head is always moving so it's not as jarring when screen does random movements. AC and iracing are night and day to AMS2 cam , I just got a script set up with AC which is really good as well. All Sims need to copy iracing though.
These GT1 cars are much more immersive in VR if you use sequential shifter with it. I highly recommend. The one from Heusinkveld (the first one, not the new one) actually looks like the one from these cars. I love driving the old Sauber with it IN VR in AMS2
Hah, I was driving this very same car earlier. It is one of my favourites from AMS2. Awesome seating position. I know I've mentioned it a few times in live streams before but you really ought to try the Aussie Camaro, especially now you're in VR to see how dinky they are. Its a fun time.
The worst part about VR is you end up having people working for companies invite you to events and then you keep bumping into those same people for years , honestly wish I'd never got involved with VR I like HMDs but the people you meet are the worst ! For some reason your comment makes me want to go for a doner kabab 🤔
3 comments in a row is weird but anyways... Open xr allow you to widen the FOV. Witch is a good hack to compensate for narrow FOV in vr. Try setting it to 85-90% and you just have to glance to see the mirrors. I also set my world scale to 105% to make it all look perfect. Nevermind the post process filter you can adjust to reduce contrast and saturation a little bit and set too suit your likings.
Quest 3 vs Reverb 2 anyone ? I understand the sweet spot being miniscule on the Reverb 2 is an issue but up to buying it it beat everything else I tried easily for me (rift/rift s/quest 2/valve index/reverb). Thanks :)
Quest 3 compared to G2 - large sweet spot - larger fov - slightly less screen door. - distortion / image feels more natural - more support and updates moving forward Cons - Have to use usb charging able / virtual desktop / link cable - Not quite as plug and play due to no hdmi - not as good headphones - needs custom head strap You could get Q3 from Amazon try it before committing eu 2 weeks distance selling reg.
For me it's esear to be more precise in VR faster , but if you are doing 15+ hours of practice on a car and track then in probably doesn't make a difference.
GM has found a new LIFE ........life in VR ...... FINALLY he has seen the light !!!!
😂 bros been in VR for 10 years he's an OG
I know ....was there since day one.....@@EZ-IZZY1995
I can see the tripple tv's going on ebay soon.
Like mine did.
Bboy.
He also seem to play AMS2 more. Again he has seen the light.

This is the moment I've been waiting for so I can say..... "I TOLD YOU" 🤣🤣🤣

Cant even keep up with how fast you are putting out content. What a beast.
And this, gentlemen, is how you turn a ams2 hater in to ams2 fanboy.
I have never been a hater , I litrally just say its physics are wonky in xyz way and then ther fanboys cant compute that
This is the internet, you're either a hater or a fanboy, there is nothing in between.
Also it fixes the camera "issues" in vr 😉

Content has been thick and fast, keep it coming. 😀
One thing I would love to see would be a guide on the best way to spectate iRacing races in VR from the stands or like on the wall

Agreed, you need to shift and use peddals like how the car is irl. That is why we call it simracing. Otherwise you can just play mariokart.😅
Love your content, and your VR guides. Would love to see all the settings both headset and in game for AMS2 in vr as I have the same set up as you :)
Didn't know white splinter cell drives racing sims.
Can I recommend the Group C Sauber, my fav class and the engine sound use to give me an eargasm in PC2

Im not bothered by the 'N Vr N the Car' . Keep em rolling .
What are your settings for this game VR mate?
Volume seems pretty low on this video
Loving your VR race videos!! and have a request if possible... Full Nords at 6am in VR😉👌🏻 Just unbelievable. Would love to see your reaction 😎
Man i miss racing. Gotta get my Clubsport 2.5 serviced. Just decided to stop working after not touching it for a couple months.
Try getting Anisotropic filtering to trilinear and tell me the result :) For me image is more clear with that. My setup i9 11900k, rtx 4090 and Q3.
I like Merc GT2 but this one is fun to drive too 😅
Mate you should make a video about VR some day ❤

@@GamerMuscleVideosindustry people or in general?
Only TH-cam streamers race in flatland 2D
Can you get it running smooth at night? Maybe 72 hz? I struggle with 3080 and Reverb G2, but interested to know if its better on Quest 3

Automobilista 2 dont allow openxr
Just have one question, how much does it bother when you see those virtual hands and steering wheel moving or does it bother at all?
No because they look and feel like your own hands 👍
What’s quest 3 like on acc? Thanks gamermuscle
When you use cars that use sequential or manual when playing vr with paddles do you find it breaks the immersion at all?

@@GamerMuscleVideos Thanks for the overview good sir :)
I sighed a little. when you didn't take the left onto the nordschleife😒
Can VR fix AMS2's physics?
Do you think that using VR you can improve your times compared to a monitor?
For me it's esear to be more precise in VR faster , but if you are doing 15+ hours of practice on a car and track then in probably doesn't make a difference.
next video...transition day/night and rain 😉
beamng in vr?
ur still in the honeymoon stage of the quest3 i was blown away as well but after a month mines collecting dust until ams2 gets a proper online update
Assetto Corsa is VR sim racing king.
yay 1st
Don't you find the aliased shadows distracting in VR? They spil an otherwise excellent VR experience ( visually ) IMO
