This demonstration does this stuff no justice I've been using it for over 7 years and it never stops impressing me. I think will I get away gluing this and 9 times out of 10 it fixes it and most times its stronger than it was in the first place

I've used this about 10 times in one month on many different applications.
Awesome stuff. Sets up fast and super strong.

Do you know something that will bond plastic to rubber?

Q-Bond is indeed awesome stuff! I have used less than 20% of the kit and have already saved AT LEAST $200 by not having to buy replacement parts--as well as the time saved by not having to find the parts or have them shipped. With all the inferior products out there, it is truly satisfying to find a product--Q-Bond--that actually works as promised, to fix them.

Also behind my bumper bar there are bolt inserts which are used to mount the bar to a reinforcement bar which ultimately bolts on the car. Those bolt insets are originally surrounded by ABS plastic - these have split and broke away. Can I use the powder to build up and act as the original plastic that once surrounded the bolt insert? I probably need to use the adhesive as well as aluminum tape as a moulding

You get the same thing using baking soda with any glue, try it

Where do you buy this stuff? Not at Autozone, Napa, Advavanced auto or my hardware store...

Gday,I kind of have a few options.I have some quick fix, abs cement and now plan on getting some Qbond for my bumper which is made of ABS plastic. The quick fix also has the powder so I wonder if it does the same thing as Q-bond? Is Qbond ok to use on bumpers since they expand? My local Automotive shop in Australia has Qbond.

I would not recommend Q-bond for this application. The bumper bar and bolts are designed to absorb impact. While Q-bond will hold everything together, the slightest impact will cause it to break again and possibly cause further damage. It would be better to replace these parts with all new ones.

I replaced the fairings on my motorcycle and people don't believe me until they see the back if you take your time and do it right sand it smooth it can save you money! and yes do not get it on anyting because you are going to be sanding like crazy!

I would not recommend using Q-bond for fixing a tire. For fixing a tire, I would recommend using Slime or Fix-A-Flat because Q-Bond would not withstand the pressure and forces exerted on a tire.

Luv this product! But I wish the makers would make it odorless.

Q-Bond is a Cyanoacrylate, so if super glue does not burn your skin, this should not either. Yes, it can be removed with acetone.

Works well with the powder. But gluing o ring or gasket rubber. It's a piece of cap. The guy doesn't even pull that hard on demos ration. Who you fooling guy. Lol

thomas Morgan the bond is stronger than the rubber. The rubber will break in another place before the bond. try iy. Stuff is awesome

thomas Morgan i normally fix or make rubber o rings with ca glue, (krazy glue) is like one piece after it dries, vulcanizing i think is the term, you cam do it to fix tires also with long cracks

This stuff works great. I repaired a cracked bathtub with Q Bond 3 years ago and its still holding. Avoid the copy cat product called Cyber Fix. It's the same idea but it doesn't work at all.

It's a cyanoacrylate adhesive, like super glue.

Not really, it was temperature related shrinkage. Wasn't like someone tore one of the rings.
