First time I've heard Angelina sing. OH. MY. GOD. She left me with tears in my eyes and I'm not ashamed to say it. She's going places with that masterful voice.
I started here, too, was blown away, and looked on TH-cam for more from her. I saw her performances from "Norway's Got Talent", and so watched all of those - they blew me away just as much! ! I have to put my hand up to that :-) Until Angelina sang it I may have vaguely heard someone mention it, but that was all. I was 88 years old when she sang it.
Great reaction. Angelina selects and arranges all of her music herself. This was all her at 13 years old.
The arrangement of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road she does on this show was composed by Sara Bareilles years ago. She just does a slight variation of it.
Angelina did a phenomenal job on this song and at 13 years old this is unbelievable! This is one of my favorites of her many great performances!
Angelina does do her own arrangements, and she has an incredible musical mind. Her sense of timing might be one of the best of any current musician.

She arranged this herself- as she's been doing for years. When you saw her writing notes for "I Put a Spell on You" at 10- she was already making her own choices and playing with the original lyrics and music to suit her own style, just as she did here for Bohemian Rhapsody. She never ceases to amaze!! My only wish is that I was younger so I could watch her full career unfold, into her late years, but I'm here for it as long as I can!

That poor girl with her jaw in her lap is now known worldwide. You should go back a few years and see where all this started. Norway's Got Talent audition singing Gloomy Sunday by Billy Holiday, and then her acapela version of 'I'm a Fool To Want You' also by Billy H.
Notice she started with A CAPPELLA incredible.
And she sings so effortlessly. She's not straining or having to belt notes out. It's like breathing for her. I also love this version of the song.

What's most impressive about Angelina is that she isn't locked into on style or one genre. She uses her range beautifully especially in her lower register and then she turns around and let's her voice soar. Versatility may become her trademark.

Perfect re-imagination of the original icon song. and she sang it perfectly. Her sound was as sweat as ever. What is unbelievable is how this little girl at 13 years could vocally express the heartfelt emotion of this song as if she has lived through it all. When she sang I don't wanna die, one could feel the sincere and honest pleading in her voice. So perfect.
She does all the arrangements herself. In fact in "I Put a Spell on You" she was writing an arrangement change in the beginning of the video. I really, really want to see you react to one of her originals..'Million Miles' or '7th Heaven'. And she has so many amazing covers. The complete package of talent, grace, and beauty! No one like Angelina! BTW, this was recorded in Oct. 2019 when Angelina was 13. It aired on NBC on January 6, 2020 4 days short of her 14th birthday. Angie turned 15on Jan. 10, 2021. Angie has been doing her own arrangements since she was 8.

A memorable version!
There is NOTHING strange about liking Angelina's covers more than the original. While I grant that this is personal taste, it's also true that she is an EXPERT at reimagining songs to either enhance the emotional content or deliver a different emotional message, and usually much more tender using her virtuoso jazz skills. Welcome to the world of Angelina. Everything else still outside of that world remains as it is, but it's just so fulfilling to stay within.
I agree it's not strange liking her covers more than originals in general, but i DO find it strange (almost sacreligious :P ) to like her cover of Bohemian Rhapsody more than the original, and even more strange to not having heard Bohemian Rhapsody until a few months ago at his age (which i'm guessing is well in to his thirties).
So does she actually write any music or does she just remake other people's stuff? So she " enhances emotional content" of something that had a specific emotion created by the one how originally wrote and preformed it? Interesting.

@@jackbrian7083 It's close to impossible to properly cover, at least for a single artist, so i understand taking it out, but when you do it's a completely different song. It would not have reached the heights it did without it, nor made the impact it did.

Here... she comes out on stage, barefoot, opening a cappella to one of the most recognized and beloved songs of all time in front of her idol Simon to a worldwide live audience at 13 years old. Then proceeds to deliver one of the most mesmerizing performances ever on America's Got Talent. FEARLESS!! And so humble, graceful and dignified. Such class. No question she is about to take the world by storm! Angelina has jazz and soul in her blood. From a very early age she took to jazz listening to Billie Holiday mostly, among other great jazz artists. It's verified with videos. So I would love for you to react to "I'm A Fool To Want You" studio version at age 11 where she recorded it for her album "It's Magic" released when she was 12. It went to the top of the jazz charts. This is the same song she performed a cappella for Norway's Got Talent at age 7. When you listen to the Randy Shackleford studio version you would have thought you're listening to Billie Holiday herself. So happy to see Angelina getting promoted by your channel Mr. Boyd. Hauntingly Beautiful
Angelina is captivating, the delicate way she does her runs is like no other. So many other singers do runs just for the sake of doing them and they mean nothing. There are so many l could suggest you react to but l love the I'm Still Holding Out For You performance. She only ten years old and the soul she sings with is mind blowing and the interpretation of lyrics that she shouldn't understand is supernatural. Love your reactions, you can't stop now.

This part from the complete song was on the shelf as an idea for a song by itself. But Queen combined it with other ideas and made the epic (long) Rhapsody. It had a very special timeless and haunting quality, right away! We can't compare it, but Angelina took this part very masterful and made it her own song, which will never be forgotten too, I think! Also an epic performance, if you ask me! It gave shivers to countless spines!

i love this performance very unique and amazing, i know everyone has there own taste and opinion, BUT in my opinion it is CRAZY to say its better then the original, one of the most amazing vocalists often recognized as one of the best voices of all time, freddie mercury sang this song as PERFECT as it can be ever sang in the original, plus its got the "classic" value that will never die. Only my opinion but a little disrespectful (unintentionally obviously) for people to say this 2minute version my a 13 year old girl on a talent show is "better" than an all time classic, not taking anything away from angalena she is a star, but really yall? yall crazy lol

Come aboard on her journey. Although the train has been moving along at a slow rate of speed since she was 7 years old it is starting to pick up steam now at 15 years old and soon she will move onto the fast track.

Angelina is known for arranging her songs even when she was young. In fact musicians she has worked with before referred her as the boss for she was so involve in creating her music.
The woman they showed right after she sang is her grandmother. She's a famous artist and the outfit Angelina is wearing was made by Angelina and the material is a print of one of her grandmother's paintings.
This rendition of this song still give me goosebumps after hearing it so many times. This is my very favorite version of Bohemian Rhapsody and yes, even better than the original. How many artists, doing covers of classic songs, can you say that about? 13 years old. Angelina makes her own decisions about her songs, from what I've read and seen. I really recomend you this song "I'm Still Holding out for You"(@ . It could not be called "cover" because it was recorded as a demo for the writer of the song, Baby Fuzz. You’ll probably read why this is not a song Angelina has released because of the dark lyrics. I understand that and applaud how her family has guided her in her overall values and development. After the demo her family and her decided not to released and later Baby Fuzz decide to sing by himself. This Angelina's demo was leaked few years ago after Baby Fuzz released the song and he said he never heard thar demo before. Man, there are no words for how good this is song. It’s impossible to hear this song even once and not realize that it’s a masterpiece of voice, style, and interpretation. It’s haunting, sorrowful, and beautiful all at the same time. Angelina got the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum. This video was never posted on AGT official TH-cam channel. It was posted by “Talent Recap” on their channel and had over 10 million views in one week before it was deleted.
The band “Queen” loved her rendition of this song, tweeted it and tagged it. They also granted her copyrights of her version of this song which she released as a single shortly after.

I agree this rendition is WAAAAAAy better and honestly I think she was put here to sing the songs the way they were SUPPOSED to be sung, the way the CREATOR intended for them to be sung.
