    I'm from the Netherlands and discovered Toughbuilt about 2 years ago. I'm kitted out and always wondered why not every builder uses this brand/system. I've loved it since the beginning and am nevered bothered by pouches when I have to bend down. Just clip it off the set it on it's stand. Toughbuilt is a huge game changer for me and the way I work.

    Great post James. Got some good ideas from you. I'm a 80 year old DIY and I Love tools. I have a few pouches, 16" tough built bag and one with wheels. Like helping seniors on limited income. Have a great week.😊

      I loaded my 16" tote with tools I needed and it is HEAVY. Lowes has this 16" on sale. Thinking about getting another one to divide up my tools and able to carry??

    I didn't use the pouches at first. Now I have 4 different ones. I'm 79, in Okla and usually help senior folks keep things going. I now also have the largest tool box without wheels to carry my pouches. If you ever use them, you'll Love em. Randy

    My first experience with Toughbuilt was with their sawhorses, which I love. I have a tool belt setup on the way, and I'm excited to try it out. The versatility of the rig is what attracted me. Your magnetic bar is brilliant!

    Bought the toughbuilt carpenter pouches some years ago and loved em. They did create sore spots on my hips when they were fully loaded. In hindsight they rarely needed to be fully loaded but I was young and dumb. Got made fun of so much anytime I unclipped them too but it was so handy to be able to lose all the stuff on your tool side any time you just need fasteners and an impact

    I am also into the Ridgid and Toughbuilt lines. I started using the Toughbuilt pouches back in 2006 (the clips are similar with the new ones but not interchangeable), and right away I realized their uniqueness. I have to say, I compared prices with other lines, and I don't think they are expensive, as matter of fact, when they are on sale, they are quite a bit cheaper than the likes of Dewalt, etc. I have actually modified a Ridgid open basket to hold my pouches full of tools. You should try a couple of their products, one, the electricians pouch, it carries all my electric tools. And two, the digital level, it is quite more accurate than the manual.
    Good idea on the metal bar. I am going to built one.

    My thought are the same. and also did my own rail. I do have the suspenders however and they are very very helpful with the weight distribution and are very confortable. Money well spent.

    Wow u had me thinking I was looking at around 400 to 500 dollars on the set up ,now after looking at the brand ok yeah there perfect to try on that same amount I just dropped on a leather set w suspenders ,cool to have came across your Video on this tools set up ,thanks for showing

    • @westtnliving2222
      @westtnliving2222  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment. I love the versatility. I think it is a cost effective solution, especially when you compare it to the leather set ups. And one thing about those set ups, if, and when a pouch either gets a hole in it or rips. The whole belt is trash. This way here you can just get a new pouch and keep going.

    Good review, thanks for showing the hammer pouch vs the metal ring on the pouch, your right I don’t like the hammer hitting my leg in the ring style. They make 3 different drill pouch options .
    Some people say the 20 volt drills don’t stay in that smaller drill pouch and they fall out. Is that true ? No one has reviewed those in practical applications. Your video helped me decide about buying into this system. 🙏

      I’m glad it was a help to you. The drill holster seems to hold mine just fine. Have not had any trouble with it. Thank you so much for leaving a comment.

    Hey I wish I watched this earlier. Definitely subscribing. These belts are so underrated. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, I think you may be wearing the belt upside down. It’ll be much more comfortable having that extra material to custom the clips on your waist. That’s my preference anyways.

    • @westtnliving2222
      @westtnliving2222  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s an awesome system. Totally underrated sure! I’ll look it to the upside down thing. Always looking to improve my set up!! Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub!!

    I have bought there Framing hammer with the spring I believe for 40-50$ and honestly in the beginning it was amazing but within two weeks of using it the head would move a little to much for my comfort, and also when there are two pieces of lumber nailed together and you try to separate them, usually you use the claw part of the head and the handle of the hammer after some time bent a noticeable amount

    Ummm you can’t have to many pouches! I have the big framing and contractor pouches. And they hold everything! And no fold or bend. I love this system. Work everyday using different pouches depending on what I’m doing. This is the best set up period.

    I can only imagine the restraint problems you're having now since ToughBuilt has announced their storage solutions lololol. I am just like you in that I have really enjoyed every tool of theirs I've purchased with the exception of the tape. It's not bad at all, it's just not a FatMax is all.

    I thought you bought way too many unnecessary pouches! The tape measure goes on your belt. The utility knife that's in your pocket!
