I might be in the minority, but I've rewatched Jessica Jones and found I loved a lot about her show. I was hoping they brought her back.
I didn't care for the second season but I liked the other two seasons. Espescially the first season. The Purple man is probably the best villain of the Netflix shows besides Kingpin.
@@mortagon1451 facts. The Purple was way darker than I thought Marvel would go. I can certainly understand where you're coming from in relation to your feelings on the seasons. When she first came out I was watching it just in case Marvel decided to bring their stories into the fold. When I rewached it, I realized it was actually really good. It's a show I would watch whether or not it was tied to Marvel.

Ur not in the minority on this. The first season was a critical hit and most people binged it when it came out. Daredevil was such as hit that many flocked to watch JJ when it premiered and weren’t disappointed. Honestly if u have a favorite marvel Netflix show chances are it’s either Daredevil or JJ, unfortunately the shows kept losing quality from there

I’m so excited to see Jessica Jones back and elated she’ll join Daredevil. I always appreciated the Netflix Marvel shows for how serious they handled the comic genre. Some of the Marvel Disney + shows are a bit silly/comedic for me but Netflix kept things gritty.
Not to mention the fact that the Netflix Marvel TV Shows, the ABC Marvel TV Shows, and the Freeform Marvel TV Shows blow the Marvel Disney + shows out of the water.

I fell in love with JJ during the Netflix run. Kristen Ritter has been consistently impeccable in all of her roles.
I love that she is back! Her show was great and her with matt in the defenders was really good chemistry!

I loved Jessica Jones on Netflix. My only disappointment was the budget didn't allow her to fly. Hopefully Disney fixes this.

She was able to jump very high, more or less leaps far like Hulk but they did not show it. I think they should just keep her as street level character though with super solider strength.

I really hope they bring back the two best sleepers antagonists Trish Walker/Rachael Taylor AND Dex Poindexter/Stephen Wilson! Both of their arcs (and acting) were really compelling, especially Trish's in the last season!
Finn Jones (iron fist actor) put in a lot of effort to learn martial arts. I’d say give him another shot,
Marvel needs to lock in Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and complete the story arc with him as the crime boss of Harlem (having him work surreptitiously to undermine the Kingpin behind the scenes, which could also bring him into conflict with the Punisher, too), then bring Iron Fist in to create a conflict with Shang Chi and the Avengers.
the shots of Berenthal make me wish they would remake a classic sci-fi film. Tremors could be remade with him playing Earl and it would work perfectly.
I hope this will be marvel's huge comeback in terms of quality for shows. Pls Dont fuck it up
I'm hoping that Echo is meant to show us more of the street level crime and crime bosses in the MCU hopefully building to another Defenders team up or a Heroes for Hire. BUT if they do have the Netflix shows become canon to the MCU I'd love to see Luke Cage step in as a person who works under Kingpin in his attempts to control crime as a crime boss. Then have our heroes turn him back to the light. I'm really looking forward to see what they're going to do with these series and characters though! Jessica Jones returning has me very excited!

I’ve always loved the Netflix Jessica Jones character for the same reason that I love all the Defenders. Each is a troubled human that has to navigate an imperfect world while trying to do their best. Kinda like real life. 😊
I LOVE Jessica Jones. Excellent. Krysten Ritter is so great. She brought it home big time and kicked down the damn door. The only show I didn't really watch was Iron Fist and I just started working through it. So far, the main flaws seem: super corny and corny Walmart bargain bin acting. But it would be great if they could find some way to work it out because in comics, Iron Fist is Luke Cage's best friend, and they're great. It'd be nice to see a positive version of that that works.

Considering how many classic cameos there will be in Deadpool 3 (and some will be back for multiple projects), its possible and probable that everyone will be back. I'm just most concerned with Foggy and Karen lol.
Despite Finn Jones "Iron Fist," the shows from what Disney calls "The Defenders" are the highest quality TV, by far, that has appeared from the Marvel Universe. Better than many of the films as well. I just hope Foggy and Karen come back with substantial roles. The potential Matt/Karen romance was tremendous.

I’m in the middle of rewatching all the Netflix/Marvel shows in order for like the 10th time now lol. Just about to get to the end of Defenders again. I REALLY WISH/HOPE they would just pick everything up right where it left off while also introducing them all into the MCU, but I know that’s probably not likely at this point. I would love to see all the actors from all the shows come back (EVEN Iron Fist) but I’ll take whatever we get!
I hate all the cliffhangers we were left with between all the shows though, but the biggest one I wish they would pay off and continue would be Jessica Henwick as the Iron Fist. Bring her back, somehow throw something in about how Danny is gone for whatever reason (if they’re not bringing him back) and let Colleen get some time as the Iron Fist! Also we need Dex in the full Bullseye outfit! And pay off Luke Cage too, bring my man Mike back! We already know Jon is coming back for more Punisher too, just bring everyone back!!!

Finn did nothing wrong with the role. He worked with what he was given. It wasn't his call to make an Iron Fist show of all things as cheaply as possible... he absolutely encapsulated the character and if his series had the budget of the others it would have been probably the best offering from Netflix (IMO)... I'm biased tho. Love Iron Fist.
I always thought it was the writing and directing, not the actor or budget. I just rewatched The Defenders and they gave him more focus in that than the other characters but they didn’t do it in a good way. Instead of making him cool, they turned him into a liability, which made his image worse yet again. His cameo in Luke Cage was great but too little, too late, it seems.
Thanks for this Charlie. I'm really hoping they bring back Mike Colter's Luke Cage, recast Iron fist and do a heroes for hire show. Something similar to that TV show Leverage where every episode they're dealing with a different case.

I think them doing more Conventions after the Netflix cancelation is what led MCU to realizing they had gold and the fans wanted them in the MCU not just the characters but also the actors playing them

Disney+'s Daredevil Reboot Gets Delayed Indefinitely (Report)

Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ Daredevil: Born Again reboot just got delayed indefinitely.
The highly anticipated project, which brings back Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, was originally expected to debut its 18-episode season in Spring 2024. However, over the last few months, it’s hit some snags.
For one, despite trying to work its way through the WGA (Writer’s Guild of America) strike, the series ended up shutting production down completely. To make matters worse, there’s now a second strike (from SAG-AFTRA) to add on top of the first-both of which remain unsolved.
For a while, many fans have already started to assume that the streaming series wasn’t going to make its original release window.
Daredevil: Born Again Delayed Indefinitely

A new report from The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the upcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again was just delayed indefinitely.
The show, which was announced with a Spring 2024 premiere window, has now been taken off of Marvel Studios' upcoming release calendar-alongside Ironheart and Wonder Man.
If production picks up at the start of next year, fans can expect Born Again to be delayed to approximately Spring 2025. However, that will all depend on when the studios will finally agree to new contracts with both WGA and SAG-AFTRA to end the strikes.
Daredevil Will Be Reborn… Eventually
While many fans will understandably be sad to wait longer for Daredevil: Born Again, at this point, delays for Marvel Studios projects are becoming the norm. Hopefully, when the show does arrive, its quality will be up to par with what fans are expecting-or, at the very least, better than Secret Invasion.
Joining Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in returning to the MCU will be Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. Sadly, there’s still no concrete word on fans seeing the likes of Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones or Mike Colter’s Luke Cage anytime soon.
Two other actors who didn’t seem to make the cut are Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page and Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson. While anything could still happen, plentiful rumors seem certain that both characters were not included in Born Again.
In the meantime, fans should expect to see Daredevil pop up briefly in Echo, which just moved from its November release to January 2024.

I think they should just give Finn Jones a chance at redemption. The writing for the whole show did him bad. I hope they keep it canon and bring every actor back from Marvel TV. Anson Mount was the perfect example. He's great as Black Bolt

An MCU Defenders reunion would be cool. And if they don't recast Iron Fist, furthering his story from the end of Season 2 would be a nice deal.
bottom line.. I'm pumped.. super SUPER PUMPED to see Jessica back, loved that series and loved seeing her and DareDevil sharing scenes

The Iron Fist guy needs to be recast. He was easily the worst of the lot by a couple of miles, and outdone by his stellar supporting cast. I am STOKED about Jessica Jones coming back because it was an incredible show. Luke Cage, DD and Punisher are no-brainers too.
Jones and Murdock had so much great chemistry. I loved them. It was always like a brother/sister vibe. Nice ears, they're horns. No they're not.
I hope the tone of Daredevil: Born Again doesn't mirror how DD was portrayed on She-Hulk.

Their origins are so intertwined it’s not even funny. I would recast Iron Fist though.
I'm slowly growing concern that Marvel will bring back Iron Fist. Then again, if he kept at his martial arts since, he should finally be able to sell the fighting.
The Iron Fist relation to Shang-Chi would be too perfect for them to pass up. And to lead it into a fighting tournament, DragonBall Z, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat. I would of liked if in the Netflix series they cast a Asian as Iron Fist, but then someone pointed out, Iron Fist is a white young man infatuated with the Asian culture. And with that, the actor was more or less perfect for the role. So would love to see him back aswell.

Is there any reason legal or logistical reason Rosario Dawson couldn't reprise her role in DD season 3? I'm sure she could have popped in for a scene while filming Ashoka.
It's more of a story-based reason, practially and legally there are no issues.

I'd 100% be in favor of Mike Colter returning a Luke Cage. Maybe he can show up in the Next Captain America Movie and just beat Anthony Mackie's character to a pulp and tell him to do better.

I'd say crappish Iron Fist may be the buzz killer for a full Defenders comeback, I actually liked Coleen Wing and Misty Knight more than him in his series... DD, JJ and even Luke Cage felt awesomely cast, idk why IF felt so short

Do multiple special presentations with the other Netflix heroes. In a series of "Heroes For High" streaming movies. Various combinations of characters, between Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Punisher. Introduce some comic book characters who who are from the Defenders world. Toss in Spiderman characters and a few other surprise MCU characters. Short, compressed stories. Outside the Daredevil series.

Nah, in my opinion it would be awsome if they made a crossover movie about Shang-Chi and Netfix Iron fist. Characters contrast with each other quite well. A buddy-movie where two different guys have to learn to work together. Also they could've shown difference between worldviews of Taoists and Confucians reflected in those characters.
If I remember correctly, Iron Fist actually gets trained by Sheng-chi in the comics.
