I will forever run a 4” straight pipe. Sounded awesome on my 05 LLY and sounds awesome on my 19 Cummins.
4" strait pipe on my 05 LLY. Hood or bed stacks are not for me. Unless it's a pull/drag truck.

No hate but you have a v8 it’s going to be mostly whistle compared to an inline 6
I love the whistle of my 7.3 powerstroke, but I do love the grunt of a cummins
The whistle is coming from the VGT turbo. Throw a non VGT on there it’s a totally different sound. No, it doesn’t sound like an inline 6 but it definitely sounds different
It’s not the cylinders that make that difference. It’s the difference between vgt turbos and non vgt turbos 6.0s came with vgt Cummins came with non vgt
how has your ownership been? I thinking about getting one. the truck doesnt seem like the cleanest in the world so im just wondering what problems youve had since you bought it?
My ownership has been amazing anything that has went wrong has been minor things and the other things are just maintenance if you keep up with the problems it will last well over 300,000 miles it definitely costs a lot though but if that’s what you want i would recommend it
Some 6.0s are good and some are bad, if you get one then be ready for the worst financially and you’ll be good
