Bayezid has a close brush with death. Death is everywhere on the Magnificent Century! Bayezid gets betrayed by Rustem, and he girds himself with his sword and goes to fight. Bayezid fights with all his strength and corners Selim. Just as Selim comes to an end, everything turns upside down because of an arrow Selim gets shot by in the chest. Bayezid gets a fatal blow and he gets terrified when he sees the person who has shot him. Selim gets afraid that Bayezid will get his strength back and advences upon his brother with his army.
Bayezid goes to Iran with his children. Suleiman gets angry when he learns his son has taken refuge of Tahmasb I.
Sparrowhawk returns to the capital to kill Rustem and gets help from someone surprising. The deadly fight between them thrillingly comes to an end. Bayezid finds out that his father bargains for his life with Tahmasb I as he expects to be forgiven. Selim makes an insidious plan that the alarm bells start to ring for Bayezid.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

If you think about it, Prince Murad shot that arrow with the consideration that he knew his father was an inferior warrior to Bayezid, if Selim died then, so will he and his chance to befome the future Sultan. Murad had a straight path to the throne and knew it.

Wow... All this could have been prevented. Without the valide sultan here, there is no peace anymore. She was the peace in palace. Mihrimah sultan sadly doesn't have the power and the title of valide sultan yet. But since it is happening now, I'm on Selim's side.

This was Hurrems mistake she had her vision ect however she misjudged how things would go badly and even if she had been around I dubt even with her things had gone to far to be helped the situation was explosive and would have exploded eventualy spetialy with Byazids stubberness and hotheaddedness, also Hurrem could only convinse Suliman up to a surten point, does not mean she did have power ect just that some situations even the peacemaker between pepol can not help

@@user-gp3xf7jp9n Even if she had been there she would not been able to stop things she barely maniged to stop Byazid and Selim befor and the situation had excalated to a point even she would not been able hinder fights as Byazid had rebelled agenst Suliman and Byazids stubberness and hotheadedness would made it also a impossebilety:
1:By going to Manisa armed attacking Selim he had not just attacked Selim but Suliman himself, this happend while Hurrem herself was alive and she barely stopped it and Suliman gave ample warnings afterwords to Byazid
2:Byazid did not heed Sulimans orders to mouve province and not to arm up a clear violation of rules and a danger to the empier, this was also if I recall correctly Suliman gave him a warning and even if Hurrem was there it was nothing she could have done to stop it as Byazid was determend to follow things thru so Hurrem would not even been able to convince him spetialy with all the others like Mirhimah and Suliman trying but failing it would not been able.
3:Hurrem would not exsepted any rebelling agenst Suliman son or not and considering the abouve she would have realised the inevetebul dispite the pain
Hurrem could only do so much and Byazid had already desided his actions mothers advice or not becose of his stubberness and hotheadeddness and thats what got him in the end

@@user-gp3xf7jp9n Thats were meny are mistaken she was human and her power could only go so far and Byazid was at this point not going to lisen to Hurrem and also had desided and was set on his path no matter what as he was to set on getting Selim to be resoned with something him not lisening to his fathers warnings should made clear and for thise warnings was that it was not just brother agenst brother but involved the empier as well and there is the second point of this Hurrem could not have stoped Suliman as also there it had it’s limits regarding her persuation and it also would have ended Suliman and Hurrems relationship if she tryed meddeling as this was rebellion and Byazid as pointed out was to far gone to be talked to by anyone and had desided on rebellion and this is why his stubberness and hotheadedness became his end.
This is also were you see diffrense between Hurrem and her daughter as Mirhimah was willing for Selim to be killed while Hurrem was not and Byazid was intending to kill Selim and yet agen here you see Hurrem being blind regarding her children and what she had planned as it was never going to go the way she planned or tought, only one she might had gotten future right on was Chiangir but sadly he died and I think he saw the nightmare that was comeing that Hurrem did not
