Something I've loved so much with the recent champion themes is the design process Riot reveals alongside it; not just the art process, like the model and splash art, but also the technical process of programming the champion. It was super interesting to see the way the packmates' path-finding AI works at 1:42 😂
So true! Was the first time I’ve seen the programming side in action on the rift for any champion.
For me Naafiri takes the spot. She’s a monster champion and she’s a dog . She’s my perfect combination 😎🐶🔪
I'm excited to see how creative they get with Naafiri's skins, plus I'm just happy we get another Darkin champion!

Although her trailer was one of my favorite League's cinematics it's disheartening to say that her bio is... The most boring, uninspiring and overcondensed bio I have ever read. I do feel like she could have been more interesting if they went with heavier Darkin/Eldritch Horror design but nope, dog-like is more marketable.
A color story would probably help with that and play up her niche of trying to reunify the Darkin under a common cause (still a redundant motivation given Varus wanted that first but w/e) but it seems like Milio is gonna be the last one getting one, after Udyr came out Riot came clean about exploring new ways to use the lore in very corporate terms they meant "Universe stories don't make us money, but tie-in products like games and shows do!". Pretty sure aside from the bare minimum Universe is just gonna get phased out at some point.
Either way it doesn't matter, the old lore team is basically 89% gone and they're not using new champs to pay off on story threads the old ones left hanging. So many of the new champs are super-redundant, but just more marketable I will not be surprised if Briar is just kawaii Vladimir designed to push skins with less interesting lore
@ThiccChoncc Not had a chance to read the bio yet but that's a shame if it is . The lore and backstories of each champ are most overlooked and underrated aspects of league content in my opinion.

By far Naafiri's theme is my favourite
My favourite if I had to pick one would have to be Fiddlesticks.
@@TheReelSym Naafiri is my favourite from the Darkins, my all time favourite... Probably Aurelion Sol but it's impossible to choose really.
