Fun Fact: Fiddlesticks' voice actor, Kellen Goff, did every voice line NATURALLY! Riot just added more reverb to his actual voice.
To add onto that: Part of how he did it was by _heavily_ breathing out for some lines, and then in for others. The third voice line is a really good example: (breathing out) "De...Ma..." (breathing in) "...Ci...A..."
It's really, _really,_ off-putting, and it immediately creates that feeling that he's not "talking" so much as he's just mimicking human speech.

i like how u get the point of his voice lines, yes fidlestick actually is a demon and he’s not too good with speaking tho he actually use the voices that he collect during his attacks just like "help me" for other champions he uses a line from a sad or important event from their past but when it comes to other demons like "evelynn" he just said their names we don’t know why exactly.
btw u can check some videos of necrit if you want to understand some basics of the story of league of legends world "runeterra", this way u gonna have more fun while u recognize the refrances if u react to more league content

Fiddlesticks is one of the most ancient demons if not the most. The demonic compendium released with his lore reveals that all the demons in the League world feed on an emotion. For a fun fact, do you remember the two guys from his trailer talking about the event of Fossbarrow. What happened there was Nocturne(Another demon champion that feeds on nightmares) was haunting the town of Fossbarrow and people were so scared to go asleep they went mad. Lux (light mage from warriors 2020, that actually has to hide her powers from her country because they are anti mage racists) came and banished Nocturne with her light magic. The Demacians were told the entire thing was done by mages. So the two guys were talking about if they were to see mages they would cu...*snatched*. Anyway back to the topic. The first and the most powerful of these is fear. It's really hard for you to notice it but Fiddlesticks calls out other demons and only demons by their name. Also Fiddlesticks is the most primal demon. He doesn't understand the human world and is just trying to fit in. That's why he's built himself vessels of whatever scraps he can find around. His most interesting voice line is "Fiddlesticks, end of men, Fiddlesticks, first of ten". Because what the ten actually is is not confirmed and remains a mystery. Also please just listen to this 8 second clip. This is what you hear when Fiddlesticks jumps on you out of nowhere and you shit yourself. This is an earlier version of the ultimate sound but easy enough to find. th-cam.com/video/mi97-oVx7t0/w-d-xo.html I personally use the cheaper skins just because they share the base sfx and vfx and the "better" skins have unique sounds which I don't think that are that terrifying. Also the VO actor is the lovely Kellen Goff. He has awesome work on other scary characters too.

I gotta admit I was thinking the same on that poem like part from fiddlesticks...what does the ten stand for or signify? A mystery...I like it....hopefully it will be revealed one day!

"First of ten" always struck me as being the first of the primal emotions. Fear would likely have been the first emotion, as it is necessary for survival to fear. some of the other 10 could be Hunger, Lust, Rage etc. This is not established lore, but it is what i think makes the most sense.

@@LesserLordKusanali dear friend, I afraid that you're in the wrong here. Fiddle is not capable to mimic the voice 100%, as seen even in its teaser video. Not to mention its actual quotes in game. So its theme song is still most probably sung by normal people, retelling the warning fable of an evil scarecrow.
From what I always thought, we hear his actual voice in game but when he’s “mimicking” a voice it’s usually aimed at a person he is hunting. The person being hunted hears the voice of their friend/family that is being used against them. It slowly begins to break and distort but it’s still partially the voice of the person’s loved one, adding to the sense of fear he causes. He’s a demon; a magical entity that subsists on raw fear. Who’s to say he can’t use magic to give life to a voice from his victim’s’ memories and make the victim think it’s the actual voice they remember...

The voice lines, especially the "Attack" ones just paint this terrifying moment of a massacre in a town or a small village. I have a pretty imaginative mind, and it doesn't help at all when I hear those lines.
The birthday party Fiddlesticks skin has another 10 minutes of extra voice lines, and you can easily tell the movie IT was an inspiration for the voice tone and some quotes. "Hello little boy/girl. Are you afraid of clowns?"
Crazy how they manage another 10 minutes of creepy voice lines, his clown costume is for me one of his creepiest. Completely agree, deffo has IT vibes to it 😱
6:30 it is exactly how voice actor was saying it, there is a single voice overlay. You can find a video how he did that on youtube.
As someone mentioned, his voice lines for Annie play off her losing everyone she loved, the first one for Nunu is what his (presumably dead) mother told him, the ones for Miss Fortune mimic her mother's screams as she is being murdered and so on. There are some other champions in the game that are arguably creepier, but Fiddle is probably the most psychologically tormenting character.

Nice one dude! I like how you are really trying to understand what it’s been shown to you that’s a huge plus. The Annie part in which he says to help him it could be from the death of her sister from Annie: origins where she also ask her for help. Many of the things present in League of Legends universe have a reason and some of them have connections with others. This is a fun reaction! Haha I think "in lore" Fiddlesticks speaks in a voice similar to the victims voice to lure others. But when it speaks completely distorted, it's purposefully done to invoke fear in his next victim.
09:52 that's because they ARE. every thing it says are last words, fears, dying screams, innermost thoughts (about deepest fears) or the last words of someone close or against you. Also Fiddle is called he sometimes do to his voice actor for base and surprise party skins, but Fiddle is an IT. Even the Void creatures have genders and sexes and pronouns...this thing is so ancient, evil, inhumane, deadly, monstrous, that IT does NOT.
Probably one of the best (if not the very best) reaction video on the subject. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to see people just getting scared out of their pants and have a good laugh right after, but I loved seeing your genuine interest on this while exploring the material in detail!
Reaction videos are often a quick and easy way for youtubers to grab a bunch of views and call it a day, but yours are different. One can really see the dedication of someone trying to make a video that is actually both entertaining and fun. Well done! Keep it up!

Kellen Goff is really good at his job, yeah (There's a video on his youtube channel where he shows that the voice has actually barely been edited, he has a special technique that lets him do the Fiddlesticks voice) And you nailed the concept behind Fiddle completely! There's rarely a specific and unique concept (at least to this degree) behind champion voice lines, so I thought this one was worthwhile, but maybe not so many of the others. (That is of course, up to you) I'm mostly looking forward to the opening ceremonies, but if you want to check out more champion themes, which are always pretty cool, I'll definitely watch those!

Yeah, this one was excellent, I've got a few other requests that I've pencilled in for a later on. I will be doing the open ceremonies from 2017-2019...is it worth me doing any earlier ones? (if there are earlier ones?)
@@TheReelSym There are ceremonies for almost every year, i think. 15 and 16 are kinda cool, but the truly incredible ones are 17, 18, 19, so it's up to you. The important thing is to find the videos with the whole ceremony, most people check out the individual songs, but then you actually miss quite a lot of the ceremony

Do you already know "This is War!" by "Falconshield", it's a series of "rap battles" between champions from certain regions of Runeterra, so Demacia, Noxus, The Freljord, The Shadow Isles, The Void, Shurima, Piltover, Zaun and Bilgewater (I can't really describe it better and my description doesn't really do them enough justice, they are stunning and they get exponentially better and better the newer they are)
If you were any ordinary react channel I would actually not recommend them because it's pretty important to recognize the different regions and to know at least some of the characters in it but after watching a lot of (maybe to many) hours of your league videos, I trust that you are up to the task, especially if "this is war" goes on the bottom of your list so you can learn even more about everything before diving into it.

Kindred, literally just death, was once a Gray Man before the universe was even complete. He was very lonely back then, before time was real and before light was around. The only beings around was Bard, the caretaker of the Universe, and Aurelion Sol, the creator of the celestial beings. Safe to say, when living beings came to be, they didn't like the idea of death. Kindred, upset by the constant hatred of death and the loneliness, took an axe and split themselves in half. Now two beings, The Wolf and The Lamb, Kindred is not lonely.
The fact Fiddlesticks says "Grey Man" when he sees Kindred, means he's so old that he's been around since the beginning of the universe. He's probably the most powerful demon in League right now.
Man I'm glad that you are doing reactions to content related to gaming. For me games are becoming a kind of art, different from movies or book. One is more or less confined to a structure of a narrative in traditional storytelling, but games tell stories to players as if they are experiencing it. Great reaction as always, and Fiddle is fucking terrifying.

Ok, this is interesting. Also, I see this channel growing which is nice. I hope there will be too many comments for me to even think about commenting next spring, maybe in two springs, reaction channels usually grow slowly. This was actually a champion rework. You can see the difference, the old Fiddlesticks from "A Twist of Fate" to "Terror in Demacia". He used to be treated as a joke in game too since his kit had this 1 crazy ability with the crows, silencing minions and enemy champions for a few seconds or so and he can spam that so Riot changed that function in the more known effects called "fear" or "terrify" which will command enemy champions away from you for a few seconds almost mimicking "fear" in real life. Fiddlesticks isn't the only one who has a "terrify" effect thou, Warwick and Urgot are some of the few.

I really want to recommend looking at Camille's voice lines! She's my favourite champion and is very savage and above it all, she's quite badass. She doesn't have a dedicated cinematic but she was the lady who burst into the theatre in the Awaken Cinematic in case you don't know. Love the content btw
Out of all the LoL cinematics, i have to say the 2019 Awaken is my favourite one! Yeah, i remember her in it...seems like an interesting character with a cool design. I really think your right because on some of fiddlesticks lore it says is that Fiddlesticks is really old, like really old that not even the universe was born. then one day a foolish mage summoned him thinking he can control fiddlesticks. So because of how old Fiddlesticks is he doesnt know modern language and things but what he knows is that scarecrow scares humans which is perfect because fear is kind of like his thing so when he sucky sucky his victims soul he gains knowledge by it. Oh and fiddlesticks is not the scarecrow fiddlesticks is the demon.
He is the primal evil of Runeterra. He is the first of the 10 demons. He is one of the strongest characters in the LOL universe.
One of the creepiest things about Fiddlesticks' lines is "First of ten". Some people interpret that as meaning that there are TEN of these things scattered thoughout Runeterra.
Was thinking the same think when I was listening to his lines! Love how it’s meaning is vague and is still kinda a mystery....makes him somehow even more terrifying!😨
Also, less so crows, and more so at least the ones it uses in its ult Crowstorm, are demon crows, practically made from his body. And you wonder and look wonderingly-thoughtful whenever it sounded like an animal? Well, Fiddle copies and repeats (at least to the intended target sometimes with the exact voice none of the raggedy breathing) last words and sounds.........animals feel fear TOO.

Edit 2: I think one of fiddlesticks skins may be based off Jack the Ripper because if you look at his skins one of them looks like a man with a hat with like monoical in the street and you can see a women screaming on the side that he is looking at and if you know the story of Jack you know why she is there

Thats because the demon swain has inside him (Raum, the demon of secrets) is the first fiddlestics descendant.
Fiddlestics is the most powerfull and ancient demon, the demon of fear.
He is like IT , so he can use any single fear you hace against you (incluiding change his form ofc).
Raum is the second most powerfull and ancient demon (the demon of secrets)
Similar to fiddlestics, he can find every secret you keep and become stronger with that.
The 3rd s probably going to be shaco after the rework (the demon if deliriums)
The 4th would be nocturne (the demon of nightmares), basically like freddy krueger
The 5th would be thamkench (the demon of obsession)
The 6th eould be evelynn (the demon of bliss)

Fiddle was an old targonian who was traveled to mt.targon to noxus.. in noxus he has a farm there but all of he harvests all goes to noxians... Later.. he harvested only a little.. so the noxians decided to feed him on crows... Then later.. coming in the world as a demon... He also mimics his victims last words

“Who needs sleep right?” 😂 Fiddlesticks is far the scariest thing I’ve seen come out of league...the level of detail in each of his costumes/skins is crazy. Oh and let’s not forget his voice...😱
Actually fiddlesticks is mimicking their voices since he doesn't know how to speak.
only 2 themes i really like now a days is fiddz rework and evelynns rework (evelynn best girl even tho this accounts name hits favor to another characer)
Really liked the Fiddlesticks one...think I might do a few more of these in the future! Ha wouldn’t have noticed without you saying...but yeah it does! 🙂
