Flair you need to be more careful when you put your fish in. They need time to adjust to the water temperature. The bass that you dropped in the hatchery will probably die.

FLAIR aeration is not an off and on thing. If you want your fish to not die… it needs to be constant… NEVER STOPPING
Too much aeration can kill your fish, he need quality water.
Just let em fuck this up just like everything else man..... just let it happen
@@motgnay7065 there is no such thing as too much aeration
@motgnay7065 I won't argue water quality is #1 priority. Care to elaborate on how to much aeration could be harmful?

Flair, I told you long ago . Filtration , aeration , flow . You need to do all three
It’s killing me man. Why did he just abandon the original filter.
Its like he just refuses to listen to any usefull comments😂
LOL totally agree... My nickname for him is Half Ass Flair! Everything he does is half assed, but honestly its entertainment so I'm not complaining.
I forgot to add one thing. This just shows how much money he has to blow, cause he would do it right you would think after the third or fourth fish kill lol.
@DangleNug I learned a long time ago that flairs channel is "spend a lot of money to do ridiculous stuff" and I'm totally here for it. It's what we wanna see
We need ranch update
We honestly do 💯
🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yesssss!!!
I was wondering if he sold it. They never even talk about it anymore
Flair mentioned he will soon, this video was already filmed more than likely. Use ya brain for a minute before you comment
Why would you put the biggest bass in the pond that everything is dying in? Darwin award goes to Flair... 😂😂 those fish don't stand a chance!
Flair is launching at you!
That's what I came to say. The levels are off, and he chucks the best ones in the bad pond???
I'm guessing there was a time lapse between when they put the pallets in the hatchery and when they stocked the bass. Maybe by then they put the aerators and PH down in. Doesn't take long for those chemicals to balance.
@@xsouthsidestevex haha yeah right, those fish are dead.
Exactly should have put them in the warehouse pond smh
Flair-you know its important if they give you directions for fish.
Also Flair- immediately does not follow the directions for the fish to acclimate.
Gotta love the effort
Same thing I said. He never follows directions and and always wonders why he fs everything up and just waist his money.
If a biologist tells.you that the fish won't survive in the northern climate you should probably listen to them. Especially if more then one says the same thing 😂. But he's a millionaire so he has money to keep waisting. Matter of fact it's all a buesness right off since he is making a film 😂
Came here to say the same thing...I'm just hoping he did it all right off camera but I doubt it 😂
I feel like I want to say something to you guys. But, I'll take the higher ground.
They survive here in Virginia where I am.
Honestly, sometimes I feel like it's intentional. I love Flair, but you can't be THIS invested into something, and be that clueless on even the basic stuff. Flair, get it together, bud. We wanna see a trophy pond, not a multi acre stagnant cess pool. Stop putting shit in your pond and mini ponds, and get things set up to function as they need to.
Those floating pallets make for a great sniping perch for the heron. 😂
He mentioned your comment in his next video
Flair has a hatchery with water that is 1 step away from battery acid that can’t even keep minnows alive.
Also Flair, let’s put bass in there.
Flair let’s make a hatchery to have bait fish for pond
Also Flair, let’s add predators to it so they eat all the bait we want to hatch
Flair “I talked to Bama Bass and learned a lot from Bama Bass”
Also Flair, learned nothing from Bama Bass
That hatchery is literally the opposite of acidic 😂. Lower pH is acidic, higher is alkaline.
But yeah, he genuinely seems to just kinda... Dismiss or forget what he learns man.
Alkaline battery 🤷♂️😂😂

It’s like his 8th time. Starting to bother me a lot.
PH is the least of your worries with minnows but to naturally keep PH down you can put logs and wood in the water to release tannins into the water and introduce fresh water plants to keep nitrates down
Would highly recommend a few things. For hatchery ponds: Get some plants. This will not only add some shade for the ponds getting to hot, but natural predator/heron protection and breeding ground for the fish. Second, if you wanna cool the water and provide aeration, get a fountain. This will cool the water as well as oxygenate it for the hatchery ponds!
its 2 am in the Netherlands, I'm drunk af but ofc I've got time for a Flair video!

Get that filtration system up and running in both ponds, it will help your water condition tremendously.
As a aquarium guy you need filtration and water movement. Testing regularly is required. Filtration is the most important. Ammonia is caused by dead fish and fish poop. If you have a high b flow Filtration system and have movement, you should be fine. Trapper j makes great filters. You should run 2 on that pond
He won’t listen. He’s just gonna kill all these fish
He does have a trapper J filter, he just doesn't use it...😂
@robsherman8963 yeah it ran for what? A month? I commented on Trapper J's video when he built it "I hope you left him instructions" cause he played on his phone the whole time.
Best advice so far👍🏻
I just noticed he put something for air👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. I pray that helps🙏🏻.
Aerators and native floating plants flair for both nursery ponds. Per a reply below, limestone will not naturally reduce the ph.
Limestone/Cement will raise PH
@ZroCool_Garage isn't there a stone that will lower it, though?

I’m seriously thinking flair doesn’t go the Bamabass route because he prefers to never have a 100% functional pong because the way he’s doing it right now he’ll always have content of trying to build a pond. He has the money resources and connections but yet BamaBass is going to be in his 5th pond before flair finally figures out how to get 1 to not leak and/or kill the fish 😅
You need one of trapper J's filters and some plants. Not chemicals
you should add some live plants and organic matter to the pond they will help lower and stabilize the ph naturally
Mc-nut is a legend!😂😂
Flair , reads directions on how to acclimate the fish. Also flair, does it how he wants 😂
Underwater drone in the pond and hatchery would be cool af
Thank God for Jake. Haha the chemist and voice of logic. “ big chungus didn’t eat his friends in the bag 😂”
Now the blue crane has 3 docks to pick the minows from.
@Flair i use to breed fish the ph up and down will cost alot of money to keep it consistent. You can try adding organic peat moss to the water column and that will drop your pH as well as sphagnum Moss. The peat moss will be your cheapest option for how much you need and it will be a natural buffer and keep everything consistent with evaporation and rainfall
FLAIR NEEDS 2 post more !!!
Want a pond that fish live? Watch Paul Cuffaro 😂 want fish sammies watch Flair 😅
Just a small tip for ur minnow hatchery pond. Add some potted water plants to help with filter the pond which will help with pH and stuff. Also the minnows will use the plants to spawn. Just place a brick down with the potted plant on top.
Filtering the water would be better than a chemical additive.
Flair vid= good day
For the hatchery the water needs to be cold, about 55°. PH should be 6.5-7.5, ammonia and nitrites should be zero as well. Having some good water flow could help a lot for temp but still might not quite keep it cold enough.
You can use Lime to help control your pond's PH level, it neutralizes acids and keeps the pH from changing rapidly. It works in fish ponds like yours, and the ideal pH level for your pond should be between 7.0 and 8.5. Also, your ponds really need some type of floating plants to help keep the water better and clearer. Plants like floating Lilies or Nymphaeaceae, which is also a floating pond plant will work, and they help control CO2, PH, and other things.
Also, as for the PH levels, It can and will change daily. It fluctuates, so it could be much lower tomorrow. So you really need to check the water every day for like a week to see how much it changes day to day.
Flair holds the World Record on the Worlds most expensive Large Mouth Bass.
For the ponds water quality to lower the PH you can add lots of Indian almond leaves without adding an actual chemical and to lower ammonia you can do water changes. I used to do aquascape
flair you should put a fountain in your pond it would help a lot! love the videos man
"Chungie and the bandits" official minnow pond bass title.
You should build a retaining wall on the top side of the beach and curve it to divert the water around the beach so it's not all going into your sand catcher into the pond.
You’ll never do half as much as Bama bass has with his pond. I love watching your videos but you don’t do anything right.
And your opinion matters?
Bro, your videos are gold.
Luzy has some strong opinions about the beach that she took a 💩 on it 😝🤣🤣
Does anyone else get a BIG smile when they get a notification that says FLAIR has posted ## minutes ago
Awesome video man
Yeaaahhhhhh buddddyyyyyy!!! Been waiting for this moment for quite a while
Run a water hose from the pump throw it in with a sprinkler on it into the newest small pond, have a 4 inch drain pipe (with a 90° aiming for the sky) set to the level you want it at into the next pond, the water will get to that level and drain into the middle pond and do the same thing from that pond into the big pond. THERE, there's your water flow. And the hose doesn't have to be on blast just a decent flow so the water is continuously moving.
Aeration will naturally introduce CO2 into the water, which will naturally lower the pH a bit. So aeration is your best bet. Also, I recommend that you get a bunch of aquatic plants for your ponds. They will clean your water, remove ammonia, nitrate and nitrite, and they obviously provide shelter for fry. A bunch of lilies should work great.
You need to put a mesh net across the whole minnow factory
You need a bio filter or you will never be successful at breeding minnows
Been waiting on this notification
"Dar...Darwin? Is that the guy?" "Think about all of the ancestors before us. That's why we're so smart." 😂
One thing I'd do to help lower and maintain a lower PH is getting logs, leaves and such to add tannins to the water. They'll help keep the PH lower, while also providing food and shelter. In a pond like that, I'd go for obviously bigger logs, stumps ect.
Big daddy flair is a goat
This dude acts like theres not endless sources of information on how to do this correctly and just loves to watse his money by half assing literally everything.
It's content. It's entertaining to see. Lojo and Jon B do the same thing. 3 lifelong fisherman that can't manage a pond
Only way to learn , is somtimes by trial and error. Professionals make mistakes too.
I work with fish and ph isn’t the biggest problem. Your high ph comes from some city water and well water. Plants should help by dropping decaying plant matter at a low rate, not dangerous to Fish. While helping with nitrites and ammonia. On the breeding ponds a bog filter would be great. It’s what I run it would be a pump that sends water to a tub full of plants and out the other side back into the pond. The plants will take care of most of the waste and help with the ph. Any fish related questions ask away💪🏻
Also remove all dead fish because dead fish will decay and foul up your water and also add to the ammonia spiking
Again please asking to get bofin for the pond they are awesome and amazing to catch 🥺
Casting couch is wild
😂 I love it Flairs got the Napa know how!!
Trapper J would be laughing watching you try to sink those pallets. LOL
You should have put a decent sized aquarium together at your business warehouse and put chungy and his buddy in it!
I have worked at fish stores in the Omaha area for almost 7 years, the only thing you should need to worry about as far as water parameters are ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Absolutely feel free to reach out if you have questions.

Nesting Substrate: Although fatheads may make a small teacup size nest on the pond bottom, they prefer to deposit their eggs on the underneath surface of rocks, plants or logs. They prefer to spawn upside down! In new ponds, pallets, boards, plastic drums or tires may offer additional spawning substrate.

You should keep one of the bigger Tiger Bass in a fish tank in your house and see how much it grows overtime while you feed it!
The pH will go down naturally with rain, the rain pH is neutral so seven and if it rains enough, the pond will even itself out overtime
The problem is flair has too much money and everything is a video prop so he doesn't take care of anything.
true, he doesn't take care of anything, it is borderline annoying at this point. All his toys he messes up from doing stupid stuff with them, killing the fish, etc.
Hell he had a wildlife expert (I assume whitetail habitat solutions by the things they were doing at the ranch, it just fits their typical MO) do to the ranch and help set it up but they didn't follow through with anything and then set it up how they wanted, ignoring the information they were given. These people know what they are doing and are telling you this stuff for a reason but then they just don't listen. I know they have the duck lease set up poorly for deer. Will they will some and probably a nice buck, yes but that doesn't mean they have a good set-up that is ideal for keeping and holding large mature whitetails.
Good luck with all the new fish ! 👍
Did any of the pond people tell you to put aquatic plants in the pond to help with the oxygen ?
Yo my favorite part of the day is seeing if you post a new vid have a good rest of your day
Idk if anyone else caught it but at 31 minutes and 39 seconds what Jake says is absolutely hilarious you have to listen close but bro…. Absolute gold 😂

F1 Tiger Bass aren't rare. The size comes from the Florida side and the aggressiveness comes from the northern side. They'll survive fine there because they survive here where I am in Northern Virginia!
I already knew this was gonna be a banger video!
You literally just figured out. That that pond's water is off the charts And do you think they're not gonna die? You literally just killed fifteen f one bass.
@FLAIR. For the pallets to sink you need to fill them pallets with rocks, brick or patio pavers. You need to strap the blocks snug under the pallets not on top and you should have a block per corner. Don't stack too many pallets or they will get more buoyant, 3 max. You can also get jet ski sandbag anchors if you have floaters that you don't want floating around. Most of the time pallets are used in ponds and lakes that don't use liners, they actually cement in wooden posts/stakes to keep them down to the ground and than put blocks and rock piles on top. Thing is...this is usually done when there is no water in said body of water. You can cut some large pvc to the length of the pallets and than fill them with cement. Than you can strap them to the sides. Takes more effort but it works.
Also, why would you add the best fry from your school into a pond that has bad water in it? I saw you added the air but still no filter or chemicals to fix the pH.
You need to feed those fishy's for a few months to get them growing.... Multi species pellets, it will keep them healthy till pond gets more established... Just my 2 cents
The casting couch is my favorite pass time
you guys should give ralph a giant brush and put it on a tree so he can rub off his coat and carol could use it too

Another day of a flair and the boys golfing vlog😂
The pallets will help with algae growth. That'll help with oxygen in the water. Winter time if you keep the ice cleared off the algae will keep producing oxygen.
Please fix Theo's roof. Something is going to get in there! A racoon could climb over or hawk could get him. One of the bigget dangers is crows. I've unfortunately seen those vicious beasts tear a rabbit apart. They'll easily make their way in to get Theo from above. 🐦⬛ 😮
I think you should bring in the professionals so you can have your ponds flourish 😂
I have used 6 inch PVC and it seems to work drills some quarter inch holes in it
What's up, flair love the Can't wait till phone. It's fully done and we have fishing videos from there
Lucy was adding structure 😂😂
Tie the pallet stacks together and use the cinder blocks as anchors to hold them in the center of the pond til they get waterlogged and sink. That way the wind can't blow the stacks into your liner.
As someone who has kept fish tanks for years the easiest thing to do is gather buckets of mud and leaves that contain micro organisms and bacteria that will help breakdown and filter wast, the micro organisms can also provide food for your baby fish.
Another thing is the more surface area the pond has and the more surface agitation the more oxygen will be transferred to the water. U might want to consider adding some plants either aquatic or land plants with the roots in the water.
Your Ph is fine for minnows and most other fish.
I run 9 fish tanks with all types of minnows and other types of fish with a ph of 8.5 and they do fine in it.
The temp of your water and lack of oxygen is your biggest concern.
A filter will help you the most in a small pond like that.
Filters grow good bacteria that convert ammonia and nitrites(which are toxic) to nitrates(which are way less toxic). Also moving water stays cooler and more aerated.
Look up the nitrogen cycle to help you learn more about it.
