I dig them, even though it would take someone like me a while to get them on, like way longer than necessary, when I have to start commuting to work again a nice set of hard bags would be really convenient for protecting expensive laptops and what not.

You guys should do a comparison of living with/durability of the fxdp style vs. pelican vs. leather pros. Hard to find any reviews on the fxdp styles and how they hold up,over time etc.

Hi guys, I have been following your channel for a while now. I enjoy your videos a lot. I am wondering if you guys know of a good rear signal relocation kit. I eliminated my tail light and many of the kits I found move the bracket to the taillight.
If you can recommend something, I'd appreciate it.

@@dynademos Yeah, agree! I think I'll use some flexible luggage net fastened to the part that opens outward to keep my stuff in place, while opening and closing the case. Also, I think I'll put the brackets on the lid and let the deeper part of the case open outward, to allow for easier packing. There are a couple of wires in the kit, which could be attached so that the case won't open more than ninety degrees. What's wrong with this concept?

When dealing with leather I would have kept that washer, even a smaller ss washer only so you know it’s not gonna pull through. But maybe because there are three bolts it’s probably never going to move. I’m just an over kill kind of guy. I’ve been welding and fabricating for so long and I’ve always done side work out of my garage. Years ago when I started welding from home I’d make sure nothing would ever break and I would make sure cause I was scared of being sued and lose everything we have. Over kill can be a good thing, but mostly it’s just more time. I don’t know why I wrote all that. I just bought a decent pair of throw over under the seat set of bags for my lowrider but just can’t get myself to pay Harley a grand. But damn I really like those boxes for 200 bucks. Maybe I’ll get a set of the mounting hardware you have and possibly paint two ammo cans black. Beginning of vid. You showed those gray or unpainted ones. The black ones you put on look way better. So thanks for sharing the ideas. Nice looking bike bro. I have the 03. Hundred year lowrider. Also a 98 heritage softail. I never take the lowrider anywhere long cause no storage. That’s gonna change real soon. Peace. Oh I’m on my wife’s iPad she is soldier girl. Actually the lowrider is really hers too. She bought it new. But she quit riding a long time ago. I kind of inherited it. I like taking that bike bar hopping. For some reason it’s like a sports car. Even though my heritage has been worked and built the way I like. Just different. 👍🏻

Doesn't not work well with a passenger even with a decent two up seat. GF weighs 109lbs but could never get the pelicans low enough to not have them constantly touching her thighs and passengers constantly use the tops as handles to get on and off the bike with their full weight. Bummer but great for solo rides.
