Can you put the escape bags on with the same mounts as the smaller essential bags or is it different? I have the escape bags but have been thinking about upgrading to the bigger ones for my low rider
100% yes I've even got some skateboard deck tape I plan to put on the topside for added grip too. They're also from karupt kustoms on the Gold Coast in Australia (as are the fronts)
In other videos they put the mounting tabs ''UNDER'' (or in between the fender and strut) the struts and you have them placed ''OVER'' the struts. Did the bags come with mounting instructions and which way is better do you think?
Hey mate I think its personal preference I like the bags sitting out a bit to try minimise any rubbing and didn't want to risk the chance of scratching the rear fender paint trying to mount it on the inside of the struts. Can't notice the difference with the bags so so easy wins!!
@@BenWilliamson_85 Thanks! Was just wondering, the people that did it the other way had problems doing the install that way so you made the right decision.
Thanks for the video man, exactly what I needed. What Crash bars are those? And also: do you use IG and what’s your name on there? I wanna have more pics of that bike - since you did the things I’m planning to do and we got the same bike :D
Great comparison, I'm happy with the escape bags, perfect fit on a Dyna between the rear taillights and shocks.
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video more to come very soon!
Thanks for the comprehensive review on the bags definitely helps
Great lookin bags, I have a 2018 lowrider. Will they fit my bike?
Thanks for the review man. It helped seeing them on a bike and side by side 👍🏻
No worries mate glad it gave you some value!

You can use the same mounts mate so it's easy to switch between both bag sizes!
Ohh sweet, thanks for letting me know
Hey mate, where about did you fing the brackets for the straps? Only place I can fing is from the company themselves.
Cheers
Ah, I was hoping to see them both installed on the bike as a comparison not just a look at the capacity difference, lol. Thanks though.
What’s the rear crash bars you have called? They loook awesome and look like they can work for passenger pegs as well

Could you fit an extra helmet visor in the essential?
Not without bending it but in the larger size yes!
Thrashin supply makes great gear. I have the essential bags, I love them.
Did u have to relocate tail lights for the big bags?
Nah mate fits like a glove no modifications needed to the lights
@@BenWilliamson_85 awesome thank you

Hey there, thanks! You can see my mods in my other videos here but they're by Karupt Customz here in Australia!
Great video, thanks man
Glad you liked it!
Nice one, mate!
Thank you!
Nice review.
