Just got mine today and from the second I put it on I feel like I've finally found a backpack that doesn't haves some kind of compromise for me. I had the NutSac Rucksack and loved it, but wanted it to be a bit bigger, got the M23 and loved it except for the lack of external water bottle pocket, that whole internal zip water bottle pocket was a horrible move. The Bannoch Pro knocks it out of the park for me and I love that there is no drawstring at to the top of the main compartment.
Would be an instant buy to see a smaller 20-21L version of this. Couple things though that stand out to me is the there really isn’t much quick access to this backpack outside of the 4 zipper pulls. The top pocket is only accessible if you take the pack off which is nitpicking and a preference thing. Id also love a side zip pocket like the arkhaig in the front. Great video!
I suspect I’m going to grab one of these sooner or later. Agree that it would be great to see these features on a smaller bag. Not sure if 17L would tickle my fancy, though. Give me 20L and it’s a three season work bag.
What a beautiful bag. I think I'm going to snag one as it's perfect size for me but also fashionable. I try to switch up my bags with different outfits. lol. Slings too. Carryology is to blame. 😂 Great review.
Wish they put a adjustable sternum strap on this bag thats what keeping me from buying it currently. I know they sell it seperately but its too low on the harness and for the price and 25L it should include it.
Any chance you can do a side by side shot of this and the Goruck M23 21L? I have the goruck and looking at the dimensions on the website the Trakke doesn’t look any bigger so I’m trying to get a size comparison
Glad to see this bag here to get some more info on it. Would be great if it was max 20l. 25 l is more a do nothing than do everything bag for me. Too big for edc and too small for travel. At least for me. Too bad some of the features won't ever go to the smaller bannoch. Just like we see with the bairn.
Never understood the thinking of making a bag out of materials that could/would last 30 years + that is for sure not waterproof, and then putting aquagard zippers on them which are gonna start crumbling and peeling within 10 years.
Gotcha. I can see that. I personally enjoy the color...and don't mind the no-leather look...but I would be intrigued to see what Trakke could do with leather on this design
Not entirely sure on how I feel about opening the main compartment zipper from the lower area of the backpack… I get the handiness but also is handy for other people to access it or create a mess The rest of the bag is lovely I would add side access to the external front pockets for a ‘quick access” and medium storage and leave the main access with the two zippers but single zipper puller going all the way up. Although I appreciate it may change the style of that lovely second flap covering those front pockets
The pro features in the small version would be killer. Hope Trakke will listen to this feedback, that comes from so many sides
Anything is possible
i hope this becomes a thing. wanted the regular small version with these features would be awesome

Hope you enjoy it! I love the Pro!

Good points for sure and I didn't really consider that...but compared to the M23 pockets you're right...thanks!
Nicely done, I’m sticking with my old Bannoch, though. Thanks for the outtakes, keeps you human.
Thank you for demonstrating how the peak design packing cubes would fit in there! Those are the ones I typically use as well!
Glad it was helpful!

I totally agree! Carryology IS to blame 😜
Quite obvious to me that they need a smaller version with these features. Really wanted this bag but just too big for edc.
I hear ya
Now that's a nice looking Backpack! Great video JB 😃
Thanks guys! 👍 Nice job building it!

Gotcha...I can see that for sure.
New JB, yes please!
😁
Really wish this didnt have aqua guard zippers on the main compartment as they delaminate. Think edc community needs to have a discussion about these
I haven’t had any issues on any

18:07 I do it in the video
@@JBOutside1 Doh thank you. I apparently didn’t watch quite that far yet (should have before I asked a question)
I want one!
You should get one...

I can see that. Never say never!

I can see your point. At that point it’s for appearance
Love the backpack except for the inside color and lack of leather

@quinndyer8717 why kill a cow for looks?
@@victoriajmartinbecause it looks and feels awesome.
The bag looks super heavy.
Looks can be deceiving
No love for the progress flag patch, eh?
Missed that one
Jeez $500?!
yup

Ok, I can see that
Alas they don't support 14" MacBook and a 13" iPad So it's a no go.
Not true. I have my 14”MBP in there right now
Meant the front sleeve just behind where you have your cables and charger
