If you're talking about the Adding action option - just click the add button and "Add Action Strip" and you'll get the option to choose the other animation. This frustrated me too.
Hello there. I am new to blender program. I want to ask you a very important question for me. First of all, I learned to combine moves from mixamo. 1- I get 3 different animations from mixamo. e.g. walking, running and jumping 2-Then I open the animations in blender, respectively walking, running and jumping. I also add an animation myself manually, for example, waving. There were 4 moves in total. 3- I combine them respectively walking, running and jumping and waving. There is nothing wrong. is happening. 4-but the problem is this: for example walking, then running, then hand waving animation that I added manually, and then the last jumping animation does not happen. 5-So after I rigged the character in blender to animate it myself, I can't add animation from mixamo afterwards. what should I do? I figured it out. Your T-pose armature needs to have a keyframe so select the armature press i in the 3D viewport and it will add a keyframe. Then both armatures will show in the NLA timeline.
When I add the action and play it, the original armature animation is good, but my object when imitating the animation it starts randomly floating and doing animation in weird movements any help please? ( I imported animation without "in place" option
@@PauloSamurai @@PauloSamurai a normal human just like yours... I guess the problem is with scaling or idk... But OK so, the original human that I'm trying to animate is different from the object that I'm trying to get the animation from... Idk if u got me but u know what, just forget about all this and if u have an answer to this please tell me... I downloaded a lot of animations in mixamo with a human object but I find it difficult to apply those animations to other human objects, how can I apply many animations to different human objects?
@@PauloSamurai problem is in showing 2 animation in Graph editor after editing in NLA editor, only clicking one action then click tab getting in Graph.. But both action not showing... So changed Direct timeline & graph method of combining. Thanks
@@RiggingDojo That i have to try. For ik and fk i just translate the hand animation to the ik and have to fix the errors. Or is there another way? thanks for the answer.
@@ArtPomelo Yes you can retarget to the IK controls as well or depending on the rig, only retarget FK then bake IK after. You can also constrain the IK controls to the FK skeleton, bake to the FK and bake the IK at the same time to remove the constraints.

And also this is my 8th tutorial vid but my fucking program (blender) keeps saying Action IDLE does not specify what data-blocks it can be used on (try setting the ID Root Type setting from the data-blocks editor for this action to avoid future problems) İ need help asap i sam so mad man you will never know !11!!

I'm not sure what exactly you need. Did you rename any bones?
how can i show mixamo colade file framekeys in blender because when i import collade file there is no keys but character animated
You need to use fbx
hi i cant seem to get the animations to loop, do you know why? when i pres shift e and make it cyclic nothing changes
select all keyframes and press Shift+E, then cyclic loop

When I split the timeline and choose non-linear it only adds the new armature, not the T-pose one. Any idea how to fix this?

it didn't work for me the character just doesn't animate, i did everything in the tutorial but no, i'm on blender 3.0
Is the character rigged with mixamo? I guess it wont work with any other rig
Yes it was, but you can do the same thing shown on the video, like combine, blend and bake actions to any animation of any rig
You will have to use a retarget tool like the one from Rokoko if you want to map the animation to other rigs.
