Somewhere there is this bubble of fun musical people and somehow a lot of them know each other. If only I could hold the camera (or run to refill water bottles and everything). Seriously, thank you. Every time I watch videos like this my life is a little better
Wow. How amazing is Toni Lindgren? In so many of these videos she's there grounding these songs with what is just so apparently a massive command of music. I loved watching her solo moment in this. She just seems so humble about it all too...
The revolution that the acoustic guitar had on the portability of music to all parts of the globe can't be underestimated, as well as Elle and Toni's wonderfulness.
In one of my first jobs on a building site, age 18, there was another slightly wild guy, same age who'd just bought himself out the army ( or been kicked out?🤔). Anyhow, I heard Bob sing this same song, every bit as good as Sam Cooke!.. Wish I'd thought of offering to be his manager! Often wonder what became of him...🤔, but boy, he could really sing! 👍 Lovely Sunday morning interpretation of this classic & thanks for bringing back a half-century old memory! 😁
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Ladies!!!!!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!! Lauren and Natalie.......GREAT BACKING just placed perfectly!!!! Elle and Toni.........NAILED IT!!!!!! Love me some SAM!!!!
I often think that these folk/country classics (whatever music this is) are kinda boring, but then I click on one of your videos and am proven wrong again by good audio quality, outstanding musicianship and your awesome arrangements. Well done
Very nice ladies! Dang Elle, that Audigo mic really sounds amazing. Everybody sounded so good and looked lovely as well. The simplicity of just a guitar or two and talented people singing a great song is all you need. I feel like with all the genres that I love and with all the intense arrangements and orchestrations which I of course appreciate, my favorite thing always seems to be a really good singer (or in this case several) and a guitar (or piano). You ladies were awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Yay! So beautiful. I've been working on this song for the last month since I heard it on an 'oldies' station on a Sunday morning going to the supermarket. The first time I heard it when my dad took my brother and I to see National Lampoon's Animal House back when (we were both way too young).
I could listen to you ladies all day. It’s presentations like this that remind us of what a wonderful world this could be. And is, while you ladies are singing.
Partnering with Nataly! So awesome. And such an amazing song that doesnt get much play anymore. Used to be on the oldies radio when i was really little. But now i miss it since its all 70s and later being played.
Oooh . Fantastic.... experienced pros at work. Beautiful mix on the microphone , the distance between , vocals ,instruments, the lovely soundfeild of the cedar top parlour guitar and the mahogany top. So refreshing always to listen. Always less is more. Thanks for your hard work.,
Wow ! Excellent cover version ! Fantastic voices harmonie ! Great performance ! Congratulations my friends and great like ! Best wishes from Austria 🎶🎶🎤🎤❤👏👏👏👏
Hi Ladies - This is one of those songs that always reminds me of the movie it was in as soon as I hear it. Animal House sure is a Classic. Like Ellie and Momma T a true classic.😁🖤☮️🕊🦋🕊🌅🎆
My favourites singers together ! It is great that you came together to sing. Maybe another time pomplamoose could be here to have a big band! Thank you❤
What a beautiful set of voices! I laughed a bit at the line "I don't what a slide rule is for." - I wonder how many young folks know what a slide rule is. Thanks for a lovely song on a Monday morning.
Stunning! ladies, just stunning! You made this 76 yo feel like a teenager again 😊
I dont know much about compliments. And words are weak compared to what you deserve. Thank you so much.

Don’t know much about music, but I do want you to know that you’ve made a baby boomer happy with this classic from that era. Thanks!

Insanely talented, and I kind of dig Toni's new look with the glasses!
Yup, what a wonderful Sunday treat!
Yeah, I agree. Unfortunately, she's not part of this quartet...
meaning, she didn't seem to sing at all in this cut.
Toni looks cute in those glasses. And nice to see her smiling and having fun.
When four talents meet, miracles happen like this. ❤
Yeah bro.
Calls to mind the time Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young first set their voices together.
Gott ist auch in der Musik
Ezek az egyre ritkább kivételek..... 😞
Rare exceptions nowadays... 😞
Toni looks super smart with glasses: she definitely knows algebra.
Amazing! I've been a fan of Nataly Dawn and Pomplamoose about as long as I've been a fan of Elle and Toni. This is a beautiful collaboration.
Same. Also a big Pomplamoose fan - would love to see more collaborations either on your channel or theirs.
...what!? Never did I think all of you would collaborate and make beautiful music together 🥹 This is so great! Natalie, Toni, Lauren, Elle...wow
I know right, I had no idea they even know each other. 🎉🎉🎉
Sam Cooke has staying power... Great little rendition!! Great colors! Beautiful setting. Who could ask for more?
Thanks, It's been a tough year medically for this'd OLE Rocker who played in Bands in the 60'S . Your rendition was pure Joy!
Sam Cooke would be the first to be moved by your rendition. Thank you for keeping his legacy alive!
It's almost 10:45pm here in the UK and this is a lovely end to a Sunday for me, you always make the day better, have a great Sunday yourselves. :-)
Snap

Elle, Toni you guys Judy bring songs to life after they seem to have died and gone!! You are too awesome for words!
You make artists who unfortunately aren‘t living any more, staying alive! Thank you!
The audio and video on this is superb!
Thank you for making the world wonderful
