For this song, we had to pick between playing guitars OR having an epic twisting dance-off in our socks, so we went with the thing we're marginally better at. Hope you like our take on this Chuck Berry classic, made even more iconic by Uma Thurman and John Travolta in Pulp Fiction.

Toni, your playing is LEGENDARY
You girls are just insanely talented! The instrument chops, the harmonized voices, the outfits perfectly matching the guitars, the fun you have together, and the joy you spread - are unmatched!👱♀🎸🎶🎸 👩
I think Toni is sporting a duty uniform from Star Trek's USS Enterprise.
Here here! Right you are!
I wouldn't have noticed- outfits lol - I'm grooving to the tune
Yep!! Agree!!
@@hmichaelr1😂❤
I'm 82 so I qualify as an old folk. I enjoyed this ladies the guitar work and the vocals. Thank you
I'm 72 and feel the same 😂
My wife and I danced to this in our living room we built. I sure miss that lady. 😢
please tell me about her
🥰🙏
She lives in those wonderful memories, keep them alive brother.
It is sad how we lose the ones we love too early.
I'm sorry
The thing that mesmerizes me about Toni’s playing is that she has so many places to take solos and fills. There’s just no way to predict the next phrase. There are more than enough predictable players. Toni rocks and just keeps getting better.
And she makes it look so effortless. 👍👍
I never get tired of the two of you playing great music with your own style.
Same here.
@@georgiahogue8588 Indeed!!!!!
I agree 100%, they put their own twist on all songs they do! I would pay to see them!

Toni's guitar playing is phenomenal ! ! !
And , Elle's singing is as awesome , as ever ! ! !
Chuck would be very proud ! ! !
Elle’s playing is nothing to be sneezed at
I am a 76 yo Chuck Berry fan. The highlight of Chuck's version was Johnny Johson's piano. This softer guitar amazingly works. I love it.
My dad is 78 and his band opened for Chuck Berry in the 60’s 🎉
Chuck Berry is a sex offender
In 1964, the record came out; I was a high school freshman and Chuck Berry was my instant favorite.
You ladies really rip it up. The music lasts forever; I will enjoy it as long as I can. I don't care what people say, Rock'n'roll is here to stay
Rock'n'roll forever!
I just got out of the Army at the age of 20
I liked everything that Chuck Berry did except
Ding-a-king. His Johnny B Goode lead is probably the greatest in rock ‘n roll history !
Keith Richards, oh The Rolling Stones, is great also !
Even Chuck would have loved this version. Great stuff ladies!
Fabulous performance. Thanks. Love Toni’s smooth, effortless (inspiring) guitar work. Better than a 5 dollar shake!
lol. Now a $5 shake is a bargain.
How can you not think of Vincent Vega when you hear this tune?!? 🤗
@@whostheblackprivatestick8565 Emmylou, then Vincent....

That´s what I call Rock´n´Roll - Greetings from Brazil
was headbopping to this. furiously.
Just when you think you’ve heard the best of Toni, she kicks it up another level. I recently saw Joe Walsh, ELO, and so many more guitarists, Toni nobody does it better. I kicked my shoes off and got my Pulp Fiction twist goin’. Thanks for the music. 🙏💪🌍🌎🌏❤️🎥🖖
Hey ladies, that was Berry, Berry good. Well done.
Better than everything I just watched on BGT & for that I send you luv from Scotland x
Im terminally sick and suffer from extreme depression and anxiety severe night terrors and extreme ptsd with suicidal tendencies, i litterly feel like im in a real life groundhog da but when the darkness and deamons get to much i put my headphones on and listen to you sing, this gives me just enough light to find my way home once more, thankyou
Keep on trucking. Lotsa love 🥰
Good God you
In the long run we are dead. Until then make and enjoy music.
For two days now, I've been texting an aunt, who was my dad's greatest confidante (may dad rest in peace). She suffers from Charcot's disease. She can no longer speak, but she can still use her smartphone. She is fed by a gastric tube directly into her stomach. It's a wonderful experience to be able to exchange a few words with her.

@dreamalittledo I'm fed through a Hickman line which is like a iv but it's inserted into my chest tunneled under my collar bone into my jugular vein and it sits in my heart, I'm then fed tpn(Total Parental Nutrition) for 16hrs then 2ltrs of fluids everyday. I'm like this because of punch to my stomach it severed my vagus nerve so anything I take orally will come steaight up I'm now stage 2 kidney and liver failure, which I know is the start of my final months on this planet, sending love prayers to you and your family
75 here. Always get goose bumps when I here this one. Chuck Berry, Emmylou, now you two!!
Bob Seger rocks it very well as well. Love them all in their own respect.
Chuck……well damn it is Chuck.
Emmylou puts such a nice county twang to it
Bob just plain rocks it.
And thees two…….it’s just so smooth.
@@gz9520 Yes the best cover.
Prine wrote it.
We turned it up really loud and danced , so fun! Thank you two!
Hella cool❤
I hate most technology except for utube music. You girls make life worth living!
Девушки просто захватывают своим мастерством, каждый аккорд, каждый риф, каждое соло - это взрыв эмоций и мощный драйв, который очаровывает и не дает отдохнуть)))
Great description :)
Great cover! I never tire of Toni’s fabulous guitar! Gracias🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎵🎵🎶👏👏👏
Wow actual musical talent no 17 producers and 2 years of post performance remixing just the joy of doing something well by talented musicians. bravo ladies.
I'm in my late eighties, and this feels so good
Found this by coincidence, you two are excellent!! Well done!!
Toni is one of my favorite guitarists of all time.
The natural response of anyone with functioning ears! 😆
if you are a guitarist your self you always Appricate the guitar soun an the licks of how its played Toni is all that luv her Arrangements of how she plays 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
The switchup to a bassline during the last verse is inspired.
sheez my favourite guitarist as well im a guitarist myself but like watching others but Toni shez da best cool headed & not a skite she da best 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Absolutely, she is up there with the greats and that is no exaggeration
One of the fun favorites from my youth! So breezy and optimistic. There will never be another legendary rocker like Chuck Berry.
Chuck was a great lyricist. Probably because his subject matter wasn’t serious, he is underrated but the man could put some words together
Two women 12 strings and a wonderful knack for music. This tune makes me remember "Jambalaya" and that wonderful moment when Toni says "train"! Carry on Elle and Toni; you are the best. That first Grammy can't be far off.
Reina and Toni.. always supershining ladies
Freaking fantastically toe tapping music. You can not sit still while listening to this. Thank you ladies.
really the BEST ! Chuck Berry is smiling down at this rendition
Keith Richard said that if we din't find the phrase Rock Roll we had to call the music Chuk Berry.
Never really liked this song because of the dance Travolta and Uma did in Pulp Fiction, but hearing this version has given me new found respect. Bravo to these fine musicians!
Toni! Killin it!
Great job. So effortless. Toni is ridiculously talented, GREAT HARMONIES FROM BOTH
Toni is, indeed, 'ridiculously talented' and these duets are just so cool!
Toni looked and sounded extra radiant on this one! Mr. Berry would love it!
This was the first Elle & Toni song I heard - and only because of the youtube algorithm and autoplay.... generally I dislike covers, but this one was very different and I then listened to more from these two.. Next was Toni's cover of Sweet Dreams are made of this, then the cover of ELO's strange magic and I was hooked on the unspeakable talent. I think I have listened to most of what they have produced and I can think of no cover that is not better than the original! Then their own material is incredible too (Toni's technical performance on Woolf is very special - 6 frets at once?!). Toni is more than a musician, she is a technician and I guess the top stars have a fundamental grasp of music theory, but Toni is the very best at what she does, so much behind the scenes as well as the raw talent on numerous stringed things and more and her harmonies and increasingly lead vocals. A race car technician takes a stock vehicle, dismantles and analyzes each component, then improves each piece and puts it all back together again, suspension, brakes, chassis, motor, all sorts of tuning etc etc. That is what Toni does to songs. She is so good that personally I tend to overlook Elle, who is incredibly talented too and so consistent with her rhythm and providing a solid landscape of a canvas for Toni to decorate with magic (not to mention her outrageous poetic creativity and smooth voice). Keith Richards speaks of weaving with Ron Wood, which I guess is more of a blues thing, but the two threads have to go together to make a complete garment and that is what these two talents do with outward simplicity, but incredible skill. The joy they have in their weaving together and warm smiles throughout is a delight to see and is transmitted to the listener. Collaborations with Josh & Carson add a whole extra dimension. I selfishly wish there was the weekly content still, but appreciate they are doing whatever is the best for them at the moment and they deserve to reap maximum reward for their talent. That the likes of Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Bieber and others are global phenomena's when there are elite musicians like Elle & Toni in relative obscurity is a travesty, though I guess they are what they are because they are so grounded.
Wonderful musicianship. That lead guitar is outstanding, isn't it? Really nice harmonies. What a pleasant surprise !
Chuck Berry from almost 60 years ago. Glad that you’re reminding us of these gems…… well done!
Some real rock stars, alive and here today, real musicians playing music as real as it can be
It's great that authentic rock n roll is appreciated by the younger generation of today. Well done girls!
I'm pretty sure it counts as country music now. How the times do change ;P
What a great sound and playing! Love the vocals - so good to hear ladies doing a Chuck song! Awesome!
I am sure this would make Chuck Berry happy.
Actually Chuck would probably be ticked off, he’d want paid for it somehow 😂😂😂
@@jwcjrcpa ah! ah! ah! That's funny , if not a "little" bit weird. Chuck Berry was the SONGWRITER of many ORIGINAL great songs. He made possible so many others to make money and fame due to his genuine talent. He brought the food for others to get fat for free.
Just stumbled upon your channel when I saw the song title. What a breath of fresh air the two of you are!! 🤗
You are in for many hours of great videos! Originals and covers, all are excellent!
The transition at 1:51 is genius.. Fantastic version lads.
Fire. Got my heel swingin'. Bound to change the weather comin' our way
How do we make this go viral? This is a great version. You 2 never cease to amaze.
Great musicians!!
These 2 girls need International exposure. Elle's voice and song writing are elite and Toni's musicianship is beyond comparison.
BRILLIANT
Beyond comparison... on a cover video.
They are great tho.
They have toured in parts of Europe and all over the USA. More than once. They are wonderful.
Soon in France, i hope.
You two are so cute. So talented and sooooo worth having in my life. Thank you for sharing your gifts. Much appreciated. Be well. Stay happy ❤️🇺🇸
My band supported Chuck Berry and I actually shook his hand. ✌️❤️
What you do is pure magic. It's obvious how much you enjoy it and that makes us all enjoy it when we see you making music. Great performance!.
I agree with you!
Absolutely.
What a pleasure to see this level of quality in a cover. I loved!.❤❤❤
That was great all around. Toni you ripped up that lead awesome...cheers
Back in the 60s or 70s no major recording studios would ever sign a contract with you two! But with your singing and Toni's playing, you have entertained many thousands motals like me (a 77 years young admirer) with your music. Keep on doing this, girls.
I’m 83 and can still appreciate this rendition. Great job,Ladies!
yup
WOW! You both are getting even better! Cheers from the Pacific West Coast of Canada.
Chuck would like it too.
The coolerator was crammed with tv dinners and ginger ale. C Berry lyricist supreme!
Note to Self: Toni & Elle (Reina) are truly one of the greats (GOATS)
John Travolta and Uma Thurman danced to this in the movie “Pulp Fiction” I just figured it out 💃🕺..beautiful thanks ladies 🙌🏼🎸
Yes, it revied the song and made people aware of Chuck Berry, brilliant.
Please don't ever stop making these videos. The best music on TH-cam!
This is what pure joy looks like.... Excellent work ladies....
Incroyable performance de toutes les deux. Merci beaucoup
Great job on what is probably one of the best two chord songs ever recorded.
Fantastic!!!! You two are so great! Always bring a smile to my face! Very well done! 👏👏
Everyone talks about guitar players but Im old and its so cool to see someone so young and so talented as Toni. You go girl, you the best.
I was going crazy trying to remember where I had seen you before, Elle. Then I remembered: “Fonts Hanging Out”!!! Great music, guys!
We were married in New Orleans and I made sure this was played at our kids' weddings. Well done!

Dayum loved the girl on electric guitar playing the most beautiful licks ever
OUTSTANDING! This is one of the very best covers by this excellent duo! Vocal was on the mark and the guitar runs by Toni were super. Nice pace!
I just wish you did upload every Sunday! I need more of both of you! So good!
Perfect pair. Very good . Good singer Good lead guitar player
Well that was pure and true badassery ❤️❤️❤️
Listening Vicksburg Ms ❤️❤️🎸🎸✌🏼✌🏼
Tony nailing the tone, the style and the licks. Effortless magic
Effortless sweet harmony singing as well.
I was wheel chair bound til I heard this song from ya'll...blessings to ya'll..
Toni is a truly great guitar player!
… it was a cherry red '53 …
unbelieavable magic bassline👌
Well done ladies, as usual. Toni's guitar playing gave this classic a Grateful Dead vibe while honoring Chuck's version.
That was so good! Excellent singing and harmonies. And exquisite guitar work from both of you!
Absolutely Fantastic. Super smooth coordination between the two. I like it when artist communicate the music and let the story telling do the work, instead of over stylizing the music. You have to have faith in the artist who composed the music in the first place.
SIMPLE AWESOME.
GOOD JOB GIRLS.
KEEPING ON ROCKING.
Wow!!! You girls are simply awesome ❤️🎸🎸🎤🎤🎼🎶❤️
beyond awesome........................
Makes me want to watch Pulp Fiction..well done ladies.
This was, or is ( time and tense , the passage of time confuses me, but I digress) simply excellent music, lively, boppy and just plain fun.
well done ladies.
Chuck era pura alegria inclusive nesta música. Parabens a dupla.
Please don't stop now! You two are great and always brighten up the day.
Cheers!👏👏👏
So wonderful. Great vocals and lovely guitar playing
I miss my wife
You guys are really good
Thanks
Wondetful to hear them...Amazing guitar rifs...
I remember when Chuck Berry's version was on the Rock 'n' Roll radio stations. Chuck would be proud of you.
Chuck Berry didn't do a 'version', he wrote it so was THE original.
Just stunning, as usual. The playing, the singing, the harmonies, the vibe. So so good.
Just showed this to my 7 year old daughter…she loved it.
And also asked “do their clothes always match their instruments ?”
I hadn’t noticed! 😂
I don’t understand why this brought tears to my eyes. Just so much fun to watch and hear and done with pure joy. You girls think outside the rather dull box. Thank you !
"... this brought tears to my eyes" Me too!
Pure
Bob Seger does a good job with this song aswell . and as usual you and Toni rocked this one.
Que bom iniciar o dia com essa Neo ficção musical! Aos 73 com MA me encorajar estou em tirar o pó da velha Gibson 335 !
Absolutely F-ing talented.
Thank you, Elle & Toni, for a great cover of a childhood favorite! This song was released in 1964, so it played often during my youth. Your version made me smile, and brought back some fond memories.
How do you know my Spotify playlist?? Excellent and joyful ❤
Very sweet and polished rendition of my favorite C. Berry song. Both of you bring both charm and skill to your guitars and vocals!
