Service for Twenty Sixth Sunday after Pentecost 171124

Welcome to West Gordon Parish Church of Scotland (Alford, Strathdon, Rhynie)
Our service for the Twenty Sixth Sunday after Pentecost, 17th November 2024, was recorded in Rhynie Church and included the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Today marks the beginning of Prisoners’ Week Scotland and the service today marks the end of a series looking at our social responsibility in the light of Jesus’ commandment to love one another and to care for the poor and needy.
Towards the end of the service, we shared Holy Communion together, so if you would wish to join in at home, then please have a piece of bread and glass of wine or juice ready and follow along with us in church.
The readings from the Bible were - Psalm 16, Isaiah 61: 1 - 6 and Luke 13: 10 - 17
