No One Cares About STEVEN KWAN

- The 2024 MLB season has had a lot of surprises. Yankees pitcher Luis Gil has been great even though no one knew his name before April. Bo Bichette and Julio Rodriguez have been bad even though they've been great in past seasons. And at the center of it all is Cleveland Guardians third year outfielder Steven Kwan. He's come out of the gate hitting close to .400 and is far better than he's ever been. Why is he so good?
Like and subscribe if you enjoyed the video thank you!!!!!!!
NOBODY CARES ABOUT HECTOR ZERONI
I was first like and keep up the vids your one of the best baseball creators ever
crazy
I met Steven Kwan at batting practice for my travel ball. He was a really nice guy and gave good advice.
That’s great
The great thing about Kwan is that he doesn’t care if anyone cares
Yeah doesn’t seem like it
I have kwan on my fantasy team and he is great
How’s your team doing
I wish I had him on mines. I have matt olsen who is the worst player on my roster but I can't drop him.
Kwan is an amazing player
i agree
If he stays healthy I think he’ll finish the year batting .350+
i agree
How easy is that to say lol. If you said it before the season it might've meant something.
@@buddyboye4203 bruh
He is a heir to the Tony Gwynne, Wade Boggs, Rod Carew old school high average hitter…we need more of those…put the ball in play !
Definitely fun to watch
Totally AGREE. Old school gritty action baseball. Love the guy. I wish baseball would move its present direction of POWER HITTING & PITCHING as the way. I don't like seeing half the roster as pitchers. Bring back more ball contact, defense, base running and ACTION. A game where maybe 2 or 3 pitchers used rather than the constant change of 10 or more interruption for pitching changes.
KING KWAN
Bro went from zero power to having solid pop in one offseason without losing his contact. Absolutely insane stuff. Kwan and the Guardian's offseason development lab need to be studied.
hall of fame
Traded injured Kwan and Kyle Tucker for Trea Turner and Yelich. Somehow I am managing to stay in the playoff hunt. Does help that I have Glasnow, Miller, J Steele, and Wheeler. But man, I miss Kwan on my squad
What’s your record?
@@blueskittles5449 18 team league, I am 78-84-6. Rn 12th place.
Kwan is a ball player.
Absolutely
Go Beavs! As soon as Bazzana gets up to speed with pro ball, Cleveland will have an even tougher lineup.
They care enough to vote him into the All Star game.
No One Cares? He's 4th in AL All Star voting.
I haven’t heard many people talk about him but yeah the title is a bit dramatic you’re righg
Typical IGNORANT public. The same reason we have bad people in high places. Marketing for the masses.
Kwan's so much fun to follow. He's an absolute hitting machine and his defense is spectacular. Does he have a decent arm?
Baseball savant says it’s pretty good
Did he change his swing technique? What is the reason for his hitting more line drives and less ground balls this season as compared to the previous 2 seasons?
Kwan plays for the Indians
I think he plays for the guardians
He's been healthy his first two seasons so hopefully his recent injury is behind him. While I don't think he'll hit anywhere close to .400, I do think he'll win the batting title.
Me too the way he’s getting hits to fall right now is pretty sustainable even over a full season
We Care😊😊😊😊😊
Not many other fans seem too 😔
BASEBALL BAT BROS COMMENTED
Unfortunately Asian athletes (despite Ohtani), still face a huge amount of discrimination. Even before Ohtani played in MLB, people actually said he belonged in High School!!!! Lol.
I bet if he was 5 inches taller he'd be noticed more!
🤓
Yep, even the views has 6k+ only in two weeks
Hes ichiro with more pop in his bat
Okay cool but if he doesn’t hit 400 he’s irrelevant and if he doesn’t do it in the playoffs he’s also irrelevant. The last guy to do that was Ted Williams and if you want to count Votto sure. But there hasn’t been a full at least 140 games played season with a 400 batting average since him. It’s never going to happen in my opinion. But I could be proved wrong.
Wasn’t quite the point of the video but I agree no one’s hitting .400 for a whole season anytime soon
And if you don't hit 63 home runs you're also irrelevant.
Because he’s only getting 180AB … and unproven.
For sure he’ll cool off but I still think he’s gonna be a great hitter when the seasons over and much improved from the rest of his career
You could say the same about Adley Rutschman, who's played fewer MLB games than Kwan but gets way more headlines. IMO if you're in your 3rd season, you've already proven you belong in MLB. Or if you're only talking about this season, nobody's even half way through so nobody is proven.
Unproven! Accept for the gold gloves he has won!
Because MLB stinks.
Bc no one cares about San Diego and their roster of weak players when they are off steroids.
Huh
He doesn't play for San Diego.
Best player in baseball.
Idk about that
@blueskittles5449 I know. Hes clutch in big situations. He can easily start off rally innings. If anyone has a shot to beat the hit king, it's gunna to be him. Guys, a gold glover tares it up on the base path and has nerves of steel in the box. There is no one else like him.
And i'm not saying there aren't other good players in the mlb. I'm just saying he's the best all-around player, and there is no one else who has those types of qualities in big situations. Give me singles, doubles, and base running all whilst working a pitch count up in the at bat over 30 hrs and 70 strike outs. That's what makes this kid difficult to strike out.
