I couldn’t agree more Bruino, it was a stonker! According to James (the angler) the fly was intended for steelhead fishing in Canada, you can clearly see the single ‘stinger’ hook, trailing behind the main body of the fly, attached by a loop of braid. To my limited knowledge, ‘intruder’ patterns tend to have front and rear hackles that this pattern does not have. I hope that helps.
