In 10 days I will be 74 y ears old , I am pretty broken and worn out (not in the best shape loots of medical problems and surgery's over the years. The one thing that I always wanted to do was go to Alaska to fish. While I could never make it there watching that movie had me feeling like I was there. This was the most wonderful movie I have seen on fishing in Alaska. God Bless you guys, all of you for taking me with you on such a wonderful trip. It was amazing. Keep it going and I will be with you on all of your adventures! God Bless!
God bless you sir.
Amazing words and happy 74th man. I hope your years have been filled with amazing fish stories and that you aren't in too bad of shape to still get a few more in. Tight lines!
Sir look into the Alaskan highway......get in your car and go :)
Im going to be doing the same soon.
We would love to help you accomplish your Alaska fishing dream! bit.ly/4j1lNUT
Maybe you're not the type of guy to do so sir but you could start a go fund me and share your story. A college kid held up a sign a couple years* ago on TV with his pay pal saying he needs beer money and got sent a million dollars from people all over!
It was truly a pleasure working with you and Josh. It’s incredible how such an amazing video came together in the short time you were here. On behalf of all our guides, I can confidently say it was a treat having you both with us, and we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to go fishing with you.
It was an absolute pleasure! Looking forward to fishing with you guys again!
This video should not be free😂 this feels like a cinematic masterpiece
I need the blue collar package. Hold the wine, filet, pins, and cake and give me a cot in the guide shack and some cans of beans and you wouldn't be able to smack the smile off my face. What an incredible place. Amazing video Jay.
The comment above, I’ve done a papa bear self guided float. Lots of work and prep, but worth it. Papa Bear is great.
Do they offer floatplane options?
12000$ plus per week is stupid!!!
@@adaptiveclimberbeta582 they specialize in river trips. Dropping you of at a lake on a float plane and then you raft down the river to get picked up. Usually a 7-10 day trip.
@ not when you consider the logistics and cost to run the place. Those Beavers are not cheap nor the pilots. Great guides deserve good money too and enough money for the hours they put in behind the scenes the guest don’t see.
My wife and I watched this video during dinner and she was laser focused on it the whole time. Thank you for likely the best fishing video we've ever watched! And can I saw something of importance? Not once did we hear anyone let loose with an expletive to describe your experiences. I appreciate your being gentlemen in front of the ladies. And God Bless everyone who stood up for Bristol Bay!
It was a pleasure having you guys at Tikchik. That char was the highlight of my season for sure. Hope to fish with you guys again someday - if you’re ever interested in coming to fish the Texas Coast, look me up.
Awesome Char Brendan! 🎃🤘
@HomeSweetHomeAlaska Thanks you guys! I hope your winter is going well, the cabin looks awesome. Happy new year!
Thanks again for putting us on the fish!!! Hope to fish together again one day! Texas sounds nice 🤟
Awesome
Absolutely unreal… the footage, the fishing… insane video. By far the best you’ve ever done.
Agreed this video is top notch
They did an amazing job!
I’m pretty sure I’ve watched every one of Jays videos that’s available on TH-cam. We watch them as a family and absolutely love his work. This video was an absolutely amazing and truly captured the fishing trip of a lifetime that it was. Incredible work Jay!!!! Congratulations!!
Tikchik Narrows Lodge stands out as one of the most exceptional operations in all of Alaska. While words can hardly capture the essence of the experience, collaborating with you and Josh through film brings the reality of the Alaskan experience to life.
Yes, Alaska can be costly, but it offers an incredible range of opportunities for anglers eager to immerse themselves in its vast, unparalleled beauty. Even with multiple lifetimes, you’d only begin to uncover the wonders this remarkable place holds. If you’re wondering where to start your Alaskan adventure, we’d love to connect and help guide you along the way. All bookings will directly benefit Jay and future projects.
Jay with every video I watch from you, I get inspired more and more. Your level of videography is unmatchable. Thanks for your content tight lines🎣
Jay, you film and produce the best videos on TH-cam (at least of the channels I watch). It’s not just a video, it’s a high quality documentary. Well done. Love your content and hope to some day shake your hand.
Watching this has well and truly blown my mind! I’m sure you all realise what a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was, but to many of us, like myself, sat here in the UK, such a trip is simply the stuff of dreams.
Thank you for such a superb and inspiring film.
These are the videos that make you the best cinematographer in the fishing industry!!! What a watch!
Jay is a master of videography. B roll is always panoramic. What a crew you have. Great fishing every time.
I haven't immersed myself in a video in a long time. But this one it was hard not to. Thank you for bringing us along in this journey. It was truly an out of body experience ❤🙏
The way your team captured the experience with the unbelievable fishing and the amazing scenery is just so unreal that words cannot do it justice.
The cinimatography is outstanding as well as the commentary, great work Jay and crew! The evolution of past videos to current has been outstanding.
Thanks for the kind feedback Mike.
To the individual who is reading this please quit overthinking everything every day and night . Stop obsessing over your failures. Stop doubting yourself and seeing the greatness in everyone else but you. You are better than that. You deserve more. Start showing up differently to yourself. Believe in yourself. God wont ever hand you something you cant handle. You are a star in this world ❤. may God Bless whoever sees this
Thanks
I came here to watch a fishing video and got a life lesson I didn’t know I needed. It is appreciated!
@ man that made my day!
Nobody can capture the beauty and epicness of a place like this like Jay Siemens can.
Agreed!
Super proud of the fact that I got to spend four years of high school with you Jay! This is a cinematic masterpiece, from the shooting to the editing and colour correction it’s just amazing! Proud of you buddy, I saw a spark in you back when we were younger and I’m so glad you chased that. Keep up the amazing creativity!
A masterpiece film. Bravo to Jay and team.
Thanks for taking us with you on the trip of a lifetime.
Jay you never cease to amaze with the content you produce! You have one of the best jobs on the world. I am so envious. Thank you for sharing this with all your fans!
That was a cinematic award worthy master piece of a movie!! Just WOW!! Thank you so much for sharing that bucket list trip with us!!! Please keep them coming!!
If you're interested in getting up to Alaska, any trip booking proceeds will go back into supporting Jay and Josh's next Alaskan film trip. It's a vast state with endless opportunities! We would love to connect with you guys!
Hi Jay, this is an amazing film! Truly stunning scenery! Top-notch fishing, and even better cinematography. Thank you for taking us along on this adventure!
Dude… the cinematography on this … unfrikken believable. Started watching on my phone. Stopped it right away and put on the 65” tv. 😮 hats off to you for sharing your experience. And the fishing… wowsers…
I just did the same 😂
Jay
This video is one of the best videos bar far!
Was up in Alaska this summer fishing, we had a great time and it is must go to.
Thanks for the great content, keep it coming, your talent is very appreciated on what you bring to the channel
Dear Jay! Thank you very much for this truly indescribably impressive film. Maybe there are no words that I can actually use to describe the impression this film left on me🤩🙏👍👍👍👍!
Jay. I appreciate your effort that you give to your production and the constant drive for better and better content. No other creator on this app makes a viewer feel as connected or as cared for as you do. You drive my fishing obsession wild. Thank you for your hard work on behalf of all of us
Enjoyed this so much. Bravo. Stop making my Canadian fly-ins feel like a warm up! Shoutout to the DHC-2 Beavers for getting the job done while looking good as always.
Man. I got a bit emotional on this vid. What an amazing trip of a lifetime. A must do!
We would love to have you one day!
I can't express how beautiful and touching this video was. Thank you for sharing your amazing experience.
So beautiful it brought tears to my eyes….what a gift to fish in a place like that! AK is the bucket list! Thanks for this video Jay. It was spectacular! 😎
Looks like that was the Alaska Epic that everyone dreams about. The opening quote is spot on. I came here as a 21 year old and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Congrats on a great trip. Y’all will be reminiscing about it the rest of your lives.
That initial quote hit me pretty deep. My brother and I just went to Alaska this last summer of 24’ and not a day goes by that I don’t miss it. We are both young and yearning to come back day after day. Thanks for the video Jay!
Incredible trip and video! Just Purchased my first fly rod because of this video. Went with the 8 weight Algonquin. 🎣
This video is wild. The drone shots are some of the best I've ever seen and whoever edited this needs a raise.
I spent a week at Tikchik in 2019. Absolutely amazing trip! Everyone there was top notch.
I Guided for Crystal Creek Lodge, a neighbor of TikChik, in the early 90s. Fished a lot of the same water. Your footage on the Agulapak river of the char and bows mixed in with the sockeyes brought back some great memories. I remember days when flying over the “Pak” when the entire river looked red from the air, from all the sockeyes. Great vid! Spent a ton of time living in outpost tent camps, often alone for weeks, on the Nush, the Togiak and other smaller, more remote rivers loaded with giant rainbows….. giant brown bears everywhere back then.
All I can say is great video. The landscape, the bears, the fish, the colors. Sometimes it is not about the biggest fish or the trophy animal, it is about taking in the whole experience. Great job. Hope to get up there some day.
Seeing the video is one thing-fishing with Jay and Josh is another entirely. From the day we met them in Anchorage to the moment we said our goodbyes, they were an absolute pleasure to spend time with.
If Alaska is on your radar, we'd love to chat. Booking proceeds will go directly toward supporting Jay and Josh in creating their next Alaskan adventure.
It’s incredible how such an amazing video came together in the short time you were here.
That man's face when he was showing that grayling was priceless... absolute unit, and what a capture... epic footage
The difference between rough necking it in tents and getting catered shore lunches is quite nice. Our AK trips consist of tons of hiking and tents or forest cabins. The luxuries are next level at the lodge level trips
I’m from New York and this Monday I caught a Brooke trout. Seeing this video makes me wanna keep on fishing even through the winter.
Great Trip Jay. Trip of a life time. Some of the best footage I have seen on fishing for Char, salmon and Grayling. You nailed this one.
Dude. You almost brought me to tears when you brought in that last Char. Amazing place. Amazing people. Amazing bid. Thank you for everything you do. I look forward to every video you post. Much love.
Before he was done with his intro I was totally satisfied with the footage!! As I watch jay seimens and his videos I’ve gotten this sense that his video quality and production team is so dang talented and what an amazing idea to send this guy and his character along with his crew to the most beautiful places on earth!! Perfect film guys! This is awesome🔥💪🏽
Unreal video!
As a guide, i would never fish the juice before clients on the first day of a trip let alone any day. Got a greasy feeling watching the guide sluice the hole and pop the biggest pumpkin first day.
Wow !!!! Fantastic Jay and Co . You sir are awesome . You may not always get that fish landed , but by gosh your videography skills are second to none !! Once again I'm sitting in my big office chair , I have the whole seat but only needed the edge !!! Thank you for uploading this one !!!
👍👍Absolutely amazing Film, Jay and gang❤ beautiful scenery... beautiful everything! Great memories made for sure👍👍 smash that thumb for Jay guys❤
What an incredible film. I'm only halfway through and at the edge of my seat!! You really did such an amazing job capturing the beauty of it all. HBD Josh! Thanks for sharing :)
Добрий вечір!
Дякую, що ділитеся моментами з свого життя!😊
Still my favorite place on earth and I only guided there one summer. Good ole World Wide Will. Steve is the best pilot too.
This was incredible! Thank you so much for sharing this experience. I have followed you for years and this is by far the best movie you have ever done and is the best fishing movie i have ever seen. My hat is off to you Jay. This trip is now at the top of my bucket list!
This dude makes the best fishing films onyoutube and beyond
Incredible video!!! You have a gift Jay! Tikchik is now a dream destination!
I haven’t even finished yet and this is incredible! You’ve outdone yourself again, Jay!
Incredible footage & story telling Jay. A truly enjoyable episode!
Not very often do I see a fishing film that makes me verbally exclaim "Holy crap". Seriously, this film is an absolute work of art. Well done
honestly one of the best things i've watched in awhile, i instantly got goosebumps remembering my honeymoon in Alaska last year! we want to go back and this place looks like a dream destination!
BEUTIFUL film and incredible storytelling!
I’ve never heard of a char until this video. Now I really wanna catch one. An absolute unreal video to watch
just listened to this adventure while doing other stuff, seen about 2mins of footage, but WOW, what an experience just felt and had, simply, just listening. sounded like an epic adventure.
I love my homeland it's the best! Glad you got to experience it.
Boys!!! You had me in tears, what a trip! Beautiful scenery, amazing fishing, great people - the stuff dreams are made of!
The difference between those doing this from the deep passion for the sport (and friendship/camaraderie that comes with it) over those just jumping on the band wagon of a new fad, is unmistakable.
Thank you so much for sharing this and giving me a bit of the experience❣️
Happy New Year - may 2025 bring everyone more amazing feels and big fishes on the reels!!
This video had so many emotions....Gosh darnit! I've never been so invested in a video! Best thing i've witnessed in awhile! 🥺

He's one of the best in all of Bristol Bay!
By far the best fishing video I've ever seen🎉
That’s about as cool of a fishing video as you can possibly make. Absolutely incredible.
Stunning video, an all around perfect way to start off the year.
Absolutely one of the best videos I have even seen on TH-cam. Thank you for capturing this so well. That will be a fishing trip dream for me.
Total cinema! Omg I'm so satisfied watching this video❤
Incredible footage. Incredible edits. Thank you, for sharing your incredible journeys. And for putting so much effort into these videos. Amazing stuff❤🇨🇦
Wow, just wow: What an awesome adventure you and Josh had., I am jealous. Thank you for sharing, awesome filming, loved it!
Your best work yet. And best fish. Bass and ‘eyes don’t get that sort of emotional response. Also, Josh is my favourite of your co-anglers. He adds a great element that others just don’t.
You have added this trip to so many people bucket list for sure! Good job Jay!
A Masterpiece - amazing job Jay and team

MAGNIFICENT! Took me a while to finish but I loved it! Always love the films.
Thank you for producing such masterpieces of fishing content. New bucket list item…. Fish with these guides
There are no words to explain how beautiful Alaska is in the summer and fall.
Me and my sons have been there many times and have done a few fly in trips to very remote locations.
The kind where the plane is brushing its wingtips on tree’s and they drop you off to sleep in tents and cook over a fire for 3 days.
Luckily they provided a small aluminum boat and a guide with a 45 and 12 gauge with slugs in it.
Anyhow we were pursued by a few large brown bears up and down the inlet that the guide used his gun to chase them away, while we waded in shorts and tennis shoes and caught our limits of cohos. No fish storie
Jay I've been a subscriber for a while. Hands down this is the best video you have ever done. In terms of content, videography and production value, well you will have a hard time beating this one. Great job!
Love seeing that brotherly bond in a beautiful place!
That was a cinematic masterpiece 👌 wicked fish, beautiful shots, and the scenery to back it all up. Earned a new sub here!
