- This week i met up with a new friend called Joe who i met through instagram (the power of social media)... we've only camped together once before. Joining him were Ash and Tim who i met for the first time on this camp. It was a pleasure to meet and camp with you boys!
We got the kayaks and canoe out and went for a nice long paddle down the river Little Ouse in Suffolk.
We were having such a good time on the river that we started to lose the light and had to find a spot to pitch up for the night. Although not exactly what we were hoping for the place we pitched turned out alright! We went into this overnighter blind on the route and camp location which to me, just made the adventure even more exciting! I went Vegan for my evening meal..... although a meat eater i did love plant based meals and its good to cut down your meat consumption!

I went out on my new inflatable kayak for the first time on Sunday.. oh my days, I didn't want to go home. It was a new level of calmness! I felt nothing but contentment..Good on u!! X

Life is just one big adventure in wildcamp world , loved every minute of it , gutted when it finished .loved Joe's rendition of Mr belafonte but now it's stuck in my head hopefully not until daylight come coz I wanna go to bed 🔥💯

Beautiful video about water journey. This summer I had a chance to sail along the Schlina River. There is a military airfield there. SU or MIG airplanes fly in the sky constantly. And you also happened to watch a military aircraft. What an amazing coincidence! Birds are not afraid of man. this is good. We are different. Ducks, geese, cranes take off as soon as the approach of people is noticed. And so nature is very similar. Vegetarian food that was very appetizing for dinner. We are more often used rice and buckwheat. But I am not a vegetarian, just do not eat meat and bird. Fish and eggs, cheese I can eat. Therefore, we sometimes take salmon's head and cook soup. Also often cooking cheese and onions soup.

Recognise that little stretch of river 😁. One of my favourite places. Great video lads, I've covered the same stretch in a couple of my own vids. I have used the first place you stopped a few times 👌🏼 only ever been disturbed by the odd horse. I think the private land boundary is at the back of that patch of woodland so if you ever return there, providing you stay close to the water you should be fine. Take care. Si 🤠

Top quality 🏕🛶🔥👍. The big canoe means that if you anchor up in the stream, you can overnight in the canoe - without having to worry about being chased off private land😜👍. Being in a group makes the portage over obstacles easier for sure. Having the kayak really opens up the world of exploration and new experiences....... and that stimulation is good for the mind & soul🛶👍.

cracking camp. I agree that little planning makes it more exciting. Having a rough idea is good, but I like not knowing where I am stopping and then when you stumble across somewhere, it is a nice surprise. One thing I have found good recently with slightly damp summer is a little extendable metal below for getting the fire going or restarted in the morning. Works a treat and tiny
