Exploring Wales With Katherine in Our Air-cooled VW Camper!

- Hello everyone!! Something a little different for you this week! a few people have asked to see more of Katherine and the van so here you go!
We went on a bit of a trip to wales with no real plan. We just winged where to visit and stay each night and wildcamped in some beautiful park ups!
We started around the Brecon Beacons and then headed down to Tenby.
We went over to the west coast and drove all the way up it stopping off in Fishguard to see a family friend before carrying on North no Caernarfon and then down into Snowdonia National park where we camped right at the foot of the mountain and cooked some burgers on the Pomoly Woodsman stove.
We then headed back up north to go to Anglesey and finally Llandudno.
We both loved every second of this trip.

I'm American, but my pre 1700s ancestors trace back to Wales and Scotland. I'd absolutely love to go there some day because everything I see looks beautiful.

Interesting fact, the spiral staircase (which isn't spiral) curves to the right because most swordsmen were right handed, that made it harder for attackers to attack and easier for defenders to defend.
As a bonus Interesting fact, there was normally one step that was a slightly different size so most people would trip if they weren't used to it.

More snippets please. Us folks in Canada, we don't get to see the old world. The thing I appreciated in my visit was that things are old over there. Like I said I slept in the oldest building in New France, Québec, which dates to 1807. There's nothing really teaked here. In Ireland I was gobsmacked to see guardrails that are actual stone walls. Not silly sticks staked in the ground with some flimsy steel attached.
So whatever snippets you desire to put together just for us over here is awesome by me

yes been up snowdon couple of years ago there are two paths to get you up there we took the left one and every time i think of the place i smile because i said to my brother last time we went up there hey there,s loads of smoke what if its blocking are path when we are comin down and are kid turned to me and said are you serious they are clouds haha thought you would like that one and it wa true lol great video mate can,t believe im watching it again.

Love Wales countryside. Next time you plan a Welsh drive check out the Ystradfellte Valley NE of Merthyr Tydfil, E of the Merthyr to Brecon Road, there's a tucked away carpark with an amazing valley river walk, southerly direction, with several mega waterfalls along the route ending with a big waterfall you can walk behind to the other bank.
