Thanks Murph, I can not wait to get my hands on the Osprey, I live 17 miles from MCAS Cherry Point in NC and see them out and about training on a daily basis. I also will be getting the Harrier as soon as it drops as well! Great video as usual and can not wait till you do a live community fly with it, I will be there and look forward to more content from you as well, Sláinte! 😎👍👍
Thanks for sharing this tutorial, i have found it rreally good & easy to understand, i have watched it a few times & i will probablly watch it a few more times, i can now operate the Osprey with confidence.
I got this today and boy it is hard to fly !! A real challenge, I managed to take off and slowly move forward, as soon as I start lowering the nacelle's for forward flight she drops out of the sky !! I'm clearly not gaining enough speed and height, practice makes perfect !!
The proprotors are connected by an interconnecting driveshaft system, that is set in the wings, they Start from the MWGB (Midwing Gearbox) and connect to a TAGB (Tag Box) through the Driveshafts, then from the TAGB to the PRGB (Proprotor Gearbox) by a short pylon driveshaft so they will always be connected. It's a bitch to work on, but it's fun. (I work on the Navy Ospreys)
i just wish the developers had made the start up process more accurate. The blade fold sequence and the way the bfws pages work are incorrect as well. hopefully its an issue they can fix in the future
you'll tilt them forward to about 60 degrees until you reach 45 knots (at least you do in real life, and on an airfield.) on a carrier they'll do VTOL, and the downwash is intense
In assistance option, I have only 1 choice "Velocopter" , I don't have : True to life. I make a reset of all menu, always the same, I don't understand why it's not like your
How would you start a mission with any aircraft that you need to start the engine(s) literally from scratch? Mine always seems that everything is already running. Is there a preset in the menu somewhere?
Doesn’t even say who the developer is, or a link to their site. Osprey looks cool though. Much prefer ITBS for genuine look at MSFS products. Anyways, probably picking this up. Looks like a fun plane… chopper… transformer.
That checklist is quite wrong compared to real life. And you would never rotate the nacelles with the thumbwheel to start. Always BFWS>Flt ready. But it's just a game. Its not DCS AHAHAHAH!
I've never purchased a 3rd party aircraft for MSFS before, but I don't think I can live without this legend in my collection.
@s amey 😐

I see them coming into KILM frequently
It's great seeing you back regularly on TH-cam!

This is beautiful!! Well done to all involved!
Excellent. Just excellent. Thank you for doing this. We should have this sort of startup-only video for ALL aircraft!
Absolutely amazing and a godsend thank you so much for doing this video. It has helped me out so much seriously keep it up.
hi Great Video Sir May i ask what are your PC Is and What Core/Processor you have? again great video

Thanks for the video. Please continue to educate us with more.
Goooood stuff. So he kept it true to previous versions. I think i remember how to start it, but THANKS for the refresher! Cheers!!
This is going to be a big hit.and it looks so perfect…this video will help me a lot with the learning curve. Thanks❤
I can't set the assistance to "True to life" because when i try my settings are locked on volocopter. (i'm on xbox)
Another great guide, looking forward to the next!

Tilt axis gearbox*
@@IcedTomLatte yea.. that's what TAGB stands for my guy..
@@canadianrandolph Thats so cool you work on these. Where does the APU get its fuel from?
@@IcedTomLatte right hand feed my guy. Do I pass your test?
@@canadianrandolph Close! Right fuel cell through the centrifugal pump. How many shearpins are on the right nacelle?
Do you know why after about a minute flying the engines cut out and the rotors stop?
Dunno what’s going to get the plane all started then moment disengage the apu whole thing ships down again
Awesome job on this tutorial. Thanks
Thanks for the help. I'm about to have fun with my new toy.
Just bought it recently having fun wish there where more warbirds though
How did you move the propellers brother? What do I button map that to?
head to about 1:53 mate
@@twotonemurphy got you bro thank you
Very well done 👍🏾!!! This was a great video

Would love to see navigation (flight planning), and conventional takeoff/landing procedures.
There is no CTOL in this aircraft
great tutorial but i still havent figured out how to get the damn thing to taxi
Got a question. How much does that flight simulator controller run for? I may need to pick one up
Is there a simpler way to star the v-22? Maybe 1 or 2 buttons?
Good thing about this v22 is.... no chance of it breaking (unless you add that as a feature)
Cool video Murph!! just wondering can you do a tutorial on how to go to space in it? 😉🙃
How do you tilt the rotors to take off or to fly like a plane?

If you start from the ramp or parking position - and not on runway - that should do the trick
Nice video, thanks!!
Thanks for the vid, will there be a blender paint kit?
Y does my osprey keep falling out of the sky after like 1 min and I can't change the angles of the engines
Nice video explained well :)
As a person who’s worked and flown on v22s I love this but also bothers me so much because they obviously can’t ad everything
Could someone tell me how to open the rear door and fold the propellers?
flightplanning and autopilot please looks great think i might get one of these on my onair company and do cargo ops out of lukla cause why not.
I never knew they had an Osprey for msfs. Is this available on the in game market place?
It will be available shortly.
when and where i can buy it!?
yep. let's learn the osprey
Great vid
can it have laser turret
Thanks Dude
Subscribed bro
Failed some of the steps to start the aircraft
Some update broke this, it's junk now. Won't start
yeah, the collective automatically goes full... really annoying
so it seems to only be engine 1 causing this, running on engine 2 only is perfectly normal
Will this be on xbox
It will, but after SU12, due to WASM.

Hello! The developer is Miltech Simulations and the product is sold by Orbx.
I SOLEMNLY SWEAR I AM NOT GOING TO STEAL AN OSPREY

Wish this was on Xbox
