    Great job on the explanations all along! I tried the H135 a while ago but I never knew what I was doing. With the official MSFS version and your training, it makes more sense and is a lot of fun. In VR I made some progress with the assists turned off, but I think I will follow this example and practice some basic state changes with assists for a while. Thanks!

    Awesome, thank you for this, really looking forward to more. I've flown a helicopter once IRL, I found it so much harder than small aircraft. Incredible though. MSFS is an amazing way to get a taste of it - low/no cost and no danger :)

      Just practise in heli all the controls affect each other. I would suggest you to test how they do that by checking it one by one. If you add collective you need to ad also more right foot to stay straigt and train that instinct to do it without thinking about it. I also suggest watching video about helicopters on the channel "smarter every day" , it helped me see how controls affect each other. Also a great video. Have fun

    • @buggerall
      @buggerall ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds familiar. I just fixed it. It's something of a bug people reported. Go to the main menu (end your flight (!)) and go to General Options, then Flight Model. Switch to Legacy and make sure you switch Global Preset to Realistic. Now start a flight and it should fly like on rails. End the flight and go to Main Menu, General Options Set Flight Model to Modern and start a flight. Now all should be well.

    I fly RC helicopter and if you turn on the stabilisation for cyclic and tail in FS2020 feels very unrealistic. After deactivating this in the options the feeling is way better.

  • @dariuszmatt76
    @dariuszmatt76 ปีที่แล้ว

    No matter how gentle I use the collective, I get a loud rattle noise from the engine and the helicopter drops down, It is like impossible to get in a hover IGE or OGE.. Like she needs speed all the time otherwise the engine stops working properly...

    • @ryanmcgowan3061
      @ryanmcgowan3061 ปีที่แล้ว

      Watch the vertical speed. Do not let it get more than -300 FPM. You are entering your own wash and quickly begin to drop like a brick. Keep some forward speed going to stay ahead of your wash as well. A 20° slope coming in to land helps a lot.

    Le truc en prenant de la vitesse après le décollage, c'est que la vitesse arrive dans les pales du retors et comme pour un avion cela augmente la portance...par contre l'effet de sol est encore a corriger, c'est trop peu

      I put zip ties on the spring of my joystick. It's very loose, but is perfect for helicopters. Even aircraft don't hard center the way joystick manufacturers make them. The center should be very soft to make it close to real life.
