I attended the Grand Showdown in LA as the sole European. There was a group of Puerto Rican players that were there as well. The format could definitely be improved and I do agree that I only went due to finding cheap flights and seeing relatives there.
Hey guys, Bma here. Apologies for the delay on this ep's release. We filmed this roughly two weeks ago but due to falling ill at a fairly inopportune timing, I only got around to doing the editing quite recently. As I reflect on the episode, I enjoyed chatting SVE with Bella, who was kind enough to share her time with us. I think our synergy built up throughout the episode and I think a lot of that credit goes to Bella. Since the video was one-sided (I can't gauge her facial expression to work out when she's about to chat), I think a lot of the effort was on her end to make sure we don't chat over each other and I think we did well in this regard over the course of discussion. We also had a chat around some ideas for any future eps if she were to make a reappearance and we could tailor a few of the segments towards the areas she's more passionate about as well, but that's a story for another day.
Bma I had same experience at grand showdown in round 6 vs an egg ( I believe he was top 16 as the only egg player) and he was power shuffling my deck before dice roll “accidentally “ flip one my cards of my deck up. Since judges won’t do anything so I didn’t bother calling them over. as he turn my card around when I said stop. Then he won the dice roll to go first then he flip his leader over since he didn’t want to show me during mulligan. Honestly wanted to get him disqualified but as there was no proof or evidence.
