Coming from the MtG community, every vendor trade i've done has been that exact same process. It's set up to speed things up when there's a giant line of people. You're supposed to only hand them the cards you want to trade in - unsleeved. I think he just deals mostly within the community and hasn't done many vendor trades so he wasn't familiar.
I LOVE the Pokemon TCG community. I recently got my partner into playing and she's been having a wonderful time with it. People are so nice, helping her out and all. Easily one of the greatest communities out there, no doubt.
This is probably the first content I have consumed where I actually feel like omg the future is actually gonna be ok. There is so many good kids out there. Incredible sense of generosity and community spirit. Amazing
You realy should do a challenge to build a tournament legal deck from nothing, and then after play a game, so more people start playing the game, it such a nice good game. How hard will it be to get enough energie cards.

Man I feel for u. This is a crazy tough set. The amount of baby shinies is just nuts. I still personally need about 60 cards ish for the set myself and I have slowly been working on it. I also don’t have anywhere near the resources u have so it’s tough but 4 hrs is insane to do this challenge. Props to getting within 10 cards. Awesome video, I love these binder challenge videos.
