Shower toilet really isn’t an option in this Toyota hiace as it’s too small of a van. You can’t stand up in this van, in the Ldv’s you can fully stand upright so the internal shower toilets work great in those ! This one has an external shower and storage internal for a porta potti
Bit late but just wondering, did you make this all yourself? Would like to know if it’s possible to buy it all pre-cut to make installation easier, as I’m thinking about buying a Hiace for living purposes
@@SpudtatoTV Hey! Yea we custom make all cabinetry in the workshop. I don’t have any set layouts as of yet so unfortunately a pre cut system isn’t an option. Cheers Liam
@@AbolitionAbz nah we ended up with 178cm east west building the bed into the recess head and foot end. Bed has to be a certain height to be able to make use of the recess in the van. Still not massive but it worked for this client and they gain a lot more doing it this way also 👍🏼
That’s a great build. I have that vehicle. My only issue is that the bed in east/west is only 170cm (5’7”) and unless you’re short you have to sleep diagonal so not so good for sharing.
Thanks! You actually get a little extra in this one with this bed head and foot end built into the cavity. Pretty sure this one ended up 180cm east west but not at the full width of the bed.
I'm a single man and i look forward to a north south arrangement so i can exit a barn door aswell. but i think i'm going to do the false wall idea, but it's going to run into the bed on that side. could be cool
Excellent conversion. Really impressive how much you managed to fit in. For small ppl, the bed makes sense East-West config. Love your work.
@@deniselee1227 thanks so much for your kind words and support! We have some really cool builds coming up we can’t wait to share!
The coolest build !!!
Thanks mate!

Looks great!
Thanks guys
Where did you hide the batteries
@@gregsulzberger3259 the battery was in a cupboard. All electrical gear on the back of the kitchen cabinetry accessed via the sliding door
What happened to the shower/toilet room that was in the LDV?
This was a game changer, but it’s been replaced with a $119 Sunbeam oven????

Nice job mate, what kind of money for this conversion?
Thanks mate, this ones starts around the 40k mark. Costs will vary with what electrical , accessories and appliances chosen etc
You made the bed east west? So what for someone less than 5 foot?
