Left it on for 40-45 minutes .
Color looked way different the next day from when I first washed out and I loveeeee it !

I think she’s using 4 boxes bc of how much hair she has but if you have shorter or less thick hair and you want her color just use 1 red and 1 magenta
My hair is currently red but it has various tones that seem like I have dark red hair with red highlights. But I want my hair to look as vibrantly red as yours. Should I use a color remover since before I used L’Oréal I had red ion on. Maybe that messed up the process?

Blancacayetano Medina yes I mixed all of them together . It was way more than I needed ! And I didn’t measure how much I added I winged it . I just kept adding developer until it was creamy n consistent as you can see in the video .

Ham & Cheese I rinsed with cool water then shampooed & deep conditioned

I wish I had done that. My roots are super red and my ends look like a nice blend.
@@tequilashots875 gotta do the roots last if u doing the whole head section hair into 4 section with rubber bands hit the ends first then undo the rubber bands about 20 mins in, then hit the roots.

Idk where you live but if you have a Sally’s go there and everything should be there or you can ask someone but yes the box only has the dye I’m guessing so you’ll need to buy developer :)

I did this and ended up doing my eyebrows to and it came out so pretty my hair and eyebrows the exact same color

I’d follow what the box says, I think it says 2.4ml :) that’s what I did and it worked great

I bought only the red dye but I don’t want it to be super bright, if i were to not use a developer would it come out you know not as bright ?
No you have to use developer with this product ! Try using a lower number ! Like 20 for a darker red .
Mix it with magenta that's what I did the red is super bright so do magenta is more burgundy

I'm so mad today that I didn't notice the subtle difference between Hicolor and Hicolor Highlights. My shit did not work 😩😩😭 I had a magenta one that said Hicolor Highlights and guess what color my hair turned out to be? Dark magenta 🤦🏾♀️ They didn't have what I needed .. I'm mad it still didn't work though because they both said "for dark hair"
Did you dye your hair a dark hair or was it your natural hair color? I had the same thing happen. I have a dark semi permanent rinse on it and the L’Oréal hi color only took on my roots so I have to use a color remover and do it again

I’d go to Sally’s beauty they should suggest something for you :) but I heard using baking soda helps or color oops (but it smells horrible) I’d ask first and do your research so you won’t damage it

Only the top of my hair turned red and I’m still trying to figure out what I did wrong
Stk Foreign hair on top processes faster bc of heat so you should start putting on the dye at the end of your strands( which are colder) and finish at the top of your head to give the lower parts more time to process.

It’s okay ! I was the same way in the beginning and when I did mine it actually came out decent but I’ll do another round in a week or two because I want a bright red 😭 :)
