Little known fact… Chris & Justin are next door neighbors in north Nashville Tennessee. They are very good friends & often show up at each other’s concerts & sing a song together.
As good of a job as Chris and JT did on this, I think Morgane’s voice shined through, especially in the first half. She’s a heck of a singer in her own right.

This was a great performance, each of the songs was from each of the artists, Tennesse Whiskey from Chris Stapleton of course & Drink You Away is Justin Timberlake's song. Awesome to see you getting more & more into Stapleton, he's genuinely one of my favorite singers already. As you've responded so well to Stapleton, I'd like to suggest another singer who has this type of bluesy soulful voice. There's a singer on TH-cam, not sure if you know him called Teddy Swims, he did a few covers that went very viral & he's started releasing his original music which is awesome too. If you don't know who he is I'd suggest starting with his first viral cover, Teddy Swims - I Can't Make You Love Me.

Watch "Man of the Woods" by Timberlake... it calls back to his country roots and has a lovely little snippet of a glance of his beautiful wife, Jessica Biel, who is seen here at 9:57... she watching her man play. For all the boy band "noise"... the man can act, can write, and seems to be a loving papa and husband.... This crew, w Morgane, Chris, Justin... and that band... look at how JT turns back to the band over and over. They LOVE what they are doing. Peace and Love darlin' to you and to yours. You should listen to the Timberlake song.. "SaySomething" with Stapleton singing with him. It's an amazing one camera video take.
im sure it was many take throughs but you are right... the one take they did for the official vid... it is really something special. That four story high chorus clapping at the end is the end of a good long day well spent.
every performance usually has multiple take throughs [edit - for working out the performance its the rehearsals that are needed to construct the end] but the last... that is the testament of the work put in. Love It.
The guy you didn't know in the crowd at the beginning of "Drink You Away" is Keith Urban. He's married to Nicole Kidman and he totally adores her. You should hear some of his music. "You look good in my shirt", "Days go by", or "Blue ain't your color". It was funny to see during COVID he was doing concerts from his home online and she'd be in the background dancing around the house.
"Tennessee Whiskey" is a song written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove. Originally recorded by country artist David Allan Coe in 1981 but recently made even more famous by Chris Stapleton. "Drink You Away" is a song written & recorded by Justin Timberlake for his fourth studio album, The 20/20 Experience (2013). So, they were doing each other's drinking songs in one set. The audience member you described as "Robbie Ray" was in fact, Australian-American country artist Keith Urban. Mind blowing talent blowing the roof off the building.

Homefree who I have seen live 3 times are amazing and Voiceplay are right up there with them. I don't have a recommendation on song cause they are all good! I say you browse their videos see something that is familiar song wise check it out!

I also prefer more Chris and less JT, but this was actually his "breakout performance" and he really gained traction from this as a solo artist. Now you need to review the ultimate live version of 'Tennessee Whiskey,' with just him and his wife at Austin City Limits. It has a completely different vibe and it's so sweet to see the chemistry and a little flirtiness with Morgane, his wife. Lots of people react to all 3! Like I said, different vibe. ❤

I wouldn’t use the word disrespectful but basically I have been doing this a long time so I’m used to videos getting blocked if you let the sound play for too long because of copyright. So now I pause frequently so it gives me a better chance of being able to publish the reaction if that makes sense 😂 basically it’s been a nightmare of experiences that have got me to this point 😂😂😂😂
